A great addition to what I've learnt so far. A couple of new things were introduced at the end in a bit of a rush which would have been nice to learn more about earlier, but still a great final project.

I really enjoyed this introduction to coding! As a UX Designer, I want to understand the coding side of everything more so I can communicate better with developers. My ultimate goal would be to become a Front End Developer or a UX Developer to incorporate the creative with the technical side of coding that I find so fun! I focused on learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoyed HTML and CSS the most because I already knew the basics, and it was exciting to create layouts and style pages. JavaScript was more challenging for me, but it pushed me to think differently. Even though I struggled a bit, I can already see improvement, and I’m confident that with practice and consistency, I will master it.
So fun learning Python and Matt is such an easy person to follow along with in the videos. Looking forward to learning more.

A valuable workshop with yet more complexity and new challenges. I really enjoyed learning how to embed maps, videos and social media to a web page and making it responsive. I created a page with multiple sections and used grids to organise the content. It was satisfying to produce a professional standard site and use industry tools. Excellent instruction, guidance and team support when needed. I am building the confidence in fixing bugs when they occur.

I'm in love with learning the Japanese language and I've been practicing Japanese since January 2025. I enjoy learning a whole different alphabet and I found Japanese to be the easiest language and alphabet to learn compared to other languages. My project consists of the Japanese language and culture.

Taking the SheCodes Plus Add-on honestly felt like leveling up in the best way. The World Clock project pushed me in all the right ways. It was challenging, but also genuinely fun. You know that moment when your code finally works and you just sit there smiling at your screen? Yeah… I had a few of those. 😁 I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained. Even in those “wait… what is going on?” moments, I still felt supported and motivated to keep going. By the time I wrapped up the World Clock, I wasn’t just typing code. I actually understood what I was doing, why it worked, and how to make it my own. This add-on didn’t just teach me new JavaScript skills. It reminded me that I can learn tough things and enjoy the journey while I’m at it.

This was the most fun I've had in a while! After learning so many new things in the previous courses, this project reminded me of the power of pure HTML and CSS. Being able to build a website without JavaScript was really satisfying! Diving into CSS Grids, HTML tables, and figuring out how to make it all responsive was incredibly fun and rewarding!
The SheCodes Responsive Add-On challenged me in the best way possible. I struggled initially with HTML structure, specifically fixing div closures and getting card layouts with embedded maps to display consistently. Developing the AI French Poem Generator was a crucial milestone in my learning process. The Responsive course final project was challenging yet totally fun! The knowledge I gained in Bootstrap directly applies to making any website responsive, and it showed me how many options you have to design a website based on your preferred style. The section on wireframes was incredibly useful and has me thinking constantly about how I can improve the design for users visiting my site. Another great learning experience!

Hands down one of my favourite workshops. The workshops have been arranged so that you can get to this point. If you were to start here without any background in coding you would feel like you were on a different plane. Everything that we were taught from the beginning with HTML, CSS, Javascript embedded code from Google Fonts and Font Awesome set us up to be able to understand how to use Bootstrap, Responsive as well as other platforms. I am so very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far. A huge thank you to Matt and the team. I am nearing the end of my SheCodes journey as a student and will soon hopefully start a chapter as a Junior Developer. I feel confident, hopeful and excited to enter it and it's all because of these fantastic workshops. To other students out there, I don’t know where you may be on your learning journey whether you are a student or thinking about becoming one. I want to encourage you to start or continue on this path. It’s not easy but step-by-step, little by little you will get there. There’s a great team and other students here to cheer you on.
