At the same time, the weekly homework and projects are fantastic for keeping me on track. They ensure that I'm consistently applying what I've learned and staying engaged with the material. It's the perfect blend of self-paced learning and guided structure, making my experience with SheCodes both enjoyable and highly effective.
I learned a lot in this round of Responsive. It took a lot of trial and error but it all came together in the end. I like that Matt walks you through each phase of the project.
This course has been an incredible insight into the basics to HTML, CSS and Javascript coding. The challenges and weekly homework have been great at solidifying our knowledge and leading an independent learning style.

It's super fun and interactive, the whole course is broken down into small sections that allows you to digest everything and go back over if you need. The challenges have been great and the final project was exciting (was great to be able to do a subject of your choosing), it allows you to play around with code and really explore and learn. I really liked SheCodes, I really liked how all the lessons taught had something in common, this really helped me to remember all of the topics. I also enjoyed the fact that the course was not too long since I am also working full-time. When I started SheCodes I was a complete beginner. Now I have a basic understanding of what HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are, and I am able to put together a simple website. I've learned how to add links, images, and buttons to websites, and have prompts and alerts based on how the user responds. Matt makes learning easy and fun! The course work is well organized and easy to follow. There is always help available using the Slack app.
To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. Itβs very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.
I think this workshop is really valuable - I learnt a lot and stayed motivated to study everyday. The challenges really keep you engaged, and each topic is well explained.
Learning to work with AIs has been way more fun than I was expecting, and a lot more accessible than I feared! I had a great time, and would encourage anyone to try it too.
I didn't know anything about web design before starting this course but I've learned a lot and I've had so much fun designing my first landing page! There has always been help available when needed.

SheCodes React was quite challenging but worth it. Matt did a great job by giving a detailed and easy-to-understand explanation of React. With the prompt response of Matt and his team, one can never get stranded nor frustrated learning how to code. Much thanks to Matt and his team for the good work.
This one was quite challenging with very dense information. I think it could've been spread out more into different themes/focuses with more gradual homework tasks towards the final project. Also The errors and experiments with the live coding were confusing. I would've much preferred a redo version. I also think the documentation is not always compatible with the material featured in the learning videos.
I had an amazing experience at the workshop! I learned a lot and it has inspired me to improve my coding skills even further. It has shown me that I am capable of understanding and excelling in coding. I am really looking forward to embarking on this coding journey and seeing where it takes me.

Fun like the first one, explained very well too. Especially that we didn't only learn new things but also had time enough to train the stuff from the Basic course was great.
I absolutly loved doing the AI Add-on, the learning was as with the previous ones I've done very easy to follow, the challenges were incredibly helpful for putting into practice what I had just learnt and I found that I was noticing little errors in my work quicker and logically working out why something was not working. I really REALLY recommend this course, I had a lot of fun with the end project and wanted to make something that showed some of my Irish heritage, with my cheeky personality added in but also something that made people smile! Check out my project even if its just to add two minutes of sillyness to your day! Have fun with this project if you go on to do it! π
Although this course had a bit of a learning curve, it definitely was rewarding to see the final project come to life and pulling real-time data (that worked!). Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and pace... and now I can take these skills and continue building for more complex projects down the line.

I used to think I'll never understand JavaScript fully because all the tutorials and crash courses I took just jumbled up all the information and shoved it right in my face. To be frank, I had almost developed a fear for it but now I can tackle a little JS with more confidence. This is all thanks to SheCodes for breaking it down and making me feel at ease while learning. Now when I see JavaScript, I jus tell myself "it's no big deal, it's just JavaScript" even if I don't know what to do haha.

At first I was overwhelmed because it all seemed so foreign to me. Then with going back and reviewing the lessons over and over again it got easier. It helps that Matt explains the concepts so well. I absolutely enjoyed learning this new skill. The support team is also so efficient and beyond helpful, definitely making this journey worthwhile. Thank you.
I had been looking at doing this course for a while and it also came highly recommended to me. The lessons were straightforward to understand and most of the videos were between 5-10 minutes each which helped pace the course and keep my attention (I get easily distracted). Almost all the lessons have a mini challenge mode for what you just learned that helps reinforce the learning. It was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be! The only downside for me was that sometimes a challenge had a component that was extra and not covered by the lesson so I had to either use the Slack channels they have (which are amazingly helpful!) or had to Google to understand how it was used.
As a young woman who has always wanted to learn coding and never knew where to begin, I would like to express gratitude to SheCodes for giving me this opportunity. Since I started, I have learnt a lot on coding and would love to continue learning. I can say, this has been an amazing, fun, confusing experience at times but l have enjoyed most of it
