The SheCodes basics workshop is a good starting point for absolute beginners who want to learn to code. As a beginner, I enjoyed the practicality of every lesson in the SheCodes basic workshop, where I had to do a challenge. I also enjoy the fact that they do not spoon speed when teaching, as sometimes I had to figure things out myself, but the good thing is they do provide resources of where you can get additional information.
I have had an incredible time learning React, I fell in love with this framework 'cause it simplifies a developer's work hundred times, I thought that I've had a strong passion for coding, although now I understand that coding is my lifestyle and not only a hobby but part of my life. Now I have set a new goal for the following month (P.S. one of them is to continue to learn React and improve my existing knowledge)
This is my second course completed with SheCodes - and just like the first, I have found it to be such an incredibly well thought out and well taught module. I have enjoyed learning about grids, transformations and how to change whole themes of web pages. I'm really proud of my final project using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and can't wait to get stuck into more coding as I continue on my SheCodes Max journey.

SheCodes Responsive was a lot of fun! It was the best to build a responsive website along with Matt. I highly recommend this course because practically all websites today require to be responsive to different devices, so every developer has to be ready. It's a great coding course, it takes you step by step to learn. You can take the classes on your on pace and repeat the lessons if it's neccessary. It took me a long time to finish because I had a lot of changes in my life, I got married, I moved to another country, I got pregnant, so I'm really happy I finally completed it! I loved the coding journey.

This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. This has given me a real appetite to learn more, cannot wait to continue my progress with more advanced courses! Happy coding 🧡

Learning React was tough, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would suggest that you give yourself the patience to restart as many times as you can in order to understand. Ask for your extensions if you must because practice makes perfect

I never thought coming from an entirely non-tech background that I would be able to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make a whole landing page from scratch in the space of just 3 weeks - I've truly shocked myself and that's all thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team! The content is SO clear to understand and I got help so quickly in the Slack channels when I got stuck, I cannot wait to continue learning with the SheCodes Max course!
Definitely the toughest course out of all I've done so far. Not sure if the pace was too quick for myself - I felt as though I understood the structure of React but I couldn't have gotten through it without Matt explaining every step of the way. I hope I'm able to bring some learnings from this course on to the next and gain greater confidence and knowledge in using Javascript and React.
