I've learnt so much in the SheCodes Basics course—I can't believe it! I was initially hesitant because I had never programmed before, but the course's format and material made it very approachable. The hands-on projects were not only enjoyable but also aided in solidifying my comprehension of coding fundamentals. The instructors were patient and knowledgable. I now feel confident to delve deeper into the realm of coding thanks to SheCodes Basics. Anyone interested in dipping their toes into coding should take this course, in my opinion!

I like the Ad-On Workshops because they truly feel step-by-step. This one had a lot of JavaScript, but it felt a little easier than the Shecodes Plus regular course. Now don't get me wrong JavaScript still confuses me but I feel like I'm slowly getting the hang of it, and once I repeat the process of couple of times I'm sure it will get easier. I'm happy to be learning something new, and hopefully, this will help me in my future career in coding.

Just finished my Basics add-on project. It was fun creating another page. Learned how to create grid layouts and changing the theme of a page using JS. Nice way to practice more of your css and html as well. I liked how we made the project together step by step per lesson. Saved me from going back and watching the videos for the final project over again.

I have always immersed myself in computers since a young age. However,this was challenging; challenging in a good way!!! I can't believe what I have learned in such a short amount of time!! 10/10 Recommend.

Another significant learning step in my coding journey! If you're wondering how developers adjust websites or apps to different screen sizes, this course gives you all the necessary information. SheCodes made learning a fun experience. It has an great way to make you want to learn. The homework was my favorite part as I get to try what I saw and if I got stuck I could get help on the slacks community which is welcoming and helpful but mostly encouraging.

I found the learning experience to be engaging and interactive. The hands-on coding exercises were invaluable in helping me practice what I learned. The bite-sized video lessons were easy to follow, and the final project was fun and challenging. I will definitely recommend it to others looking to embark on their coding journey.

It was a very challenging yet very informative journey. I have learned a lot of JavaScript and how to work with APIs.

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. This is good for me too because I need to be able to learn on my own time but I also need that little push to stay on track. Can't wait to start with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

this is a course that make participants familiar with front-end coding.The focus of it is on HTML and CSS but I've learned some basic codes and concepts of JavaScripts. I wish the course was more elaborated with some details. Also it would be useful that fundamental concepts(like variable scope) were explained. Excellent point of the course is weekly home works which engage us to what we learned. Thanks a lot Shecodes and specially Matt.

I started this course as a beginner, I had seen code before and even attempted to learn on my own but it was so difficult to fully understand the topics. Well, after sitting in on the free coding class I knew this format and teaching style was better suited to how I learn best. Through this course I was able to fully discover my love of coding! I purchased shecodes Max, so I can't wait to keep learning more and eventually gain the skills needed to become a front end web developer!

I am truely happy that I came across SheCodes a couple of weeks ago. I have always been somewhat curious about coding, but never had the guts to participate in any sort of education around it, since I feared the feeling of embarassment if I wouldn't get the hang of it right away. SheCodes for me has the perfect balance of providing deadlines yet also enables participant to work on the lessons/challenges/homework whenever best suitable for them (/us). I had to postpone one of my homework deadlines and was really happy how easy that was, too. Zero stress added to the already stressful daily life at work and other things going on - life pretty much. Now that I have completed my first course I am determined to book another one soon. I really enjoyed the little highs whenever my code worked and am now also confident enough, that I am capable of learning more about it. All thanks to Matt and his team.
