Course was great! Instructor Matt was amazing, very thorough in the lessons! I loved being able to watch the lesson, practice it, and then see the suggested solution. I have learned a lot in this short amount of time and I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn coding or sharpen their skills.
The responsive add-on workshop was really fun and I learned a lot! We learned techniques without relying on framework code snippets to help us build a responsive site. I am excited to continue my coding journey in the next workshop.

SheCodes Basic is a great starter workshop for beginners or even someone who has dabbled before but is looking for a refresher. I love the freedom to go at your own pace and the Slack channel that offers help whenever needed. I learned a lot in 3 weeks and am looking forward to taking the advanced courses next.
I think this is a great online course for people who are just starting out . The instructor explains the process in detail and goes step-by-step. And the challenges help you learn better.
I'm a 36 year old mom of 2, and never coded a day in my life before signing up for SheCodes Basics. I have been feeling like I needed a change of pace in life, and have been so unsure of which direction to go in. I'm so thrilled that I made the decision to try coding, and that I signed up for SheCodes. This has been an awesome experience and I learned so much. I can't believe how fast the time went by, and I am so excited to continue my programming journey! If you are reading this and feeling unsure if you should go for it or not, I say GO FOR IT!!
It was great to learn about Moment and how to get the time and different time-zones. Each video walks you through the process of building a world clock in easy-to-follow steps. I'm really enjoying the SheCodes workshops and learning more and more each day!

It's genuinely amazing how much you can learn in 5 months. From SheCodes Basics to SheCodes React, I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge from all 4 courses in this program. I'm proud of myself for this new achievement - the graduation of SheCodes React. The course material is really advanced. Despite this, thanks to the talent and diligence of Instructor Matt and the entire team of SheCodes, step by step, even this complex material has been sorted out. There is an understanding that there is still much to be learned ahead. I think front-end programming is pretty much visual for people who are trying to learn how to code and develop apps. SheCodes workshop made coding pretty fun for me and made me eager to learn and spend hours coding without realizing the passage of time. This workshop is the way in if you want to learn how to develop apps is JavaScript.

It had been a very good journey with SheCodes so far, the lecture videos were very interesting and informative. And it was super easy to learn from the videos. I enjoyed completing all the challenges and the project was also very interesting .
Learning to code with SheCodes is incredible! You learn concepts in bit sizes, get to practice, have a great online community, and really feel you achieved something. Learning React demanded a bit more of my time and I had a few unexpected events along the way. Thankfully, the program is flexible enough with the possibility to extend the deadlines and it all worked out in the end. I truly recommend it if you are wanting to learn a language that is being widely used in the market.
It took me a while to decide to start this course. I'm glad I've finally decided to move forward. I didn't imagine learning so much in just 3 weeks. I consider it a great program.

It was pretty complex as I've never worked with an API before, but I had fun gathering all the necessary data and putting it together in a neat-looking app. It's an excellent next step from the basics and I think it's great we get to learn how to work with GitHub and how to host the website.
Delac Foundation gave me an opportunity to learn to code for free and also helped make it easy to learn. Their method of teaching is quite simplified for a beginner like me who knew next to nothing about coding.
It was not an easy workshop but definitely a fun one! Looking forward to learning even more about React in the future.

I really enjoy learning with Matt! I thought I wouldn't be able to code, but surprisingly in a few hours, I was already doing it and learning a lot :) The exercises are fun, and the method of learning and putting it right away into practice makes all the difference because I got motivated to continue. The videos are easy to follow, and everything is explained effectively. In the future, I hope I can join the next level!

There’s a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how it’s structured. It’s helpful how each week is broken down into different lessons and challenges, that makes it easier to grasp the different languages you are learning. It’s awesome to see the results of everything you have learned through your final project. I’m excited to continue learning.

Incredibly insightful and difficult at times, but SheCodes is helping me learn so much. Looking forward to future workshops and excited to continue coding!
I enjoyed doing the course, however, I didn't learn much. Before this course, I followed another one which was free and lasted one week. It was just a promotional course by a coding Bootcamp to show what kind of things they did in the school. I learned much more that week (and I haven't even finished it) than doing this structured and paid course. Many fundamental aspects are not explained, while some simple things are repeated multiple times. Moreover, the exercises weren't really challenging. I guess it's an okay start if you have zero experience, but the price is still too high for what they teach you. Nonetheless, I have to say that when I asked a question on the chat they answered very rapidly, so great work in that sense.
This course is amazing! I never imagined being Cuban that I would be able to study this career. Thanks to SheCodes and this course I have the doors open to continue learning and developing as a Web Developer. I highly recommend it and many thanks to Matt Delac for being such a good instructor.

Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed – the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!
