I absolutely loved this class! I had so much fun building my weather app which is inspired by my favorite season (AUTUMN!) I recommended SheCodes before and I will once again. I really didn't think I could learn so much in such a short time. The basic course turned out to be much more enlightening than I expected, and now I can't wait to continue and expand my knowledge and coding skills!

I have always been interested in programming, but didn't where to start until I found SheCodes and was willing to give it a try. It is as fun as I thought and motivated me to keep learning.

It has been nothing short of an amazing journey for me. Yesterday I was learning HTML syntax and today I can build things in React. Matt unique teaching techniques made this journey seamless.

This was an incredible introduction to coding! The lessons provided were really easy to follow, and I felt as though they gave a very good basis of knowledge. They also made me really excited to learn more and want to continue my education.

Learned a lot of great tools to help grow my knowledge in coding. I was also amazed at the portfolio I was able to create for my career. :) I'm extremely proud of myself and I plan to keep on learning.

My work has progressively led me down a more tech-based path. I was frustrated with navigating unfamiliar software, managing websites, and learning the correct language to describe navigation issues with support persons. I signed up for the SheCodes free course, and it planted a seed. Not only is it creating ease in communication with our technology support persons, but it's also feeding my creativity and love of problem-solving. I am so happy I had the opportunity to take the Basic Course and am even more excited for the next eight weeks for the Pro Course.

I loved this workshop! It was very easy to follow and manageable with a full time job. I have learned so many new skills, and I am excited to continue my journey!

I had the best time with the Responsive class, though it was challenging! It was great to see how webpages can become responsive and to learn the millions of tricks of the trade. Coding has truly changed my life for the best!

I was kind of nervous going into this but I love this way of learning. Everything was explained perfectly without any confusion. I enjoyed completing my projects and challenges.

Super fun and challenging! Spent many hours coding and learning how to build responsive sites. All the videos and challenges gave me the tools to create my first fully responsive portfolio. I'm pretty happy with how my final project ended up looking!

I love how flexible this program was with my busy schedule! I barely had to utilize the Slack chat to get answers to my questions because this workshop was laid out so nicely - very user-friendly. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to learn the basics of front-end coding.

I loved learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a more in-depth way. It is lovely to get to know the languages in a more vast way. The Add-ons are a must.

I loved it. I really enjoyed learning React, especially because everything is broken into components which makes it a little easier visually. It was tough but worth it!

This is a wonderful program. Matt offers step by step lessons and it refreshing to know that there is more than one way to solve the lesson. It is a balance to learn everything if you are working full time, but well worth it!

I was scared to start studying any programming. ( sorry, last month was a bit nervous, and due to work I postponed a few times deadlines). But after I started with SheCodes, everything became clear. I successfully have done Responsive week, and it was very useful skill to build a website to look great, and user friendly in any device. Matt taught the lessons for both sides as a developer, and UI/UX focused, which I think well balanced. The curriculum is thoughtfully organized step by step for those ones who had no coding experience to avoid being overwhelmed..so you can enjoy coding with no stress! I am very excited to continue the rest of the workshop with SheCodes and can't wait to learn more on, the new course, SheCodes Max too!

This course is incredibly well structured and to the point. IT teaches complicated concepts in a simple way and helps you sail through the course pain-free.I could feel my brain growing while doing the activities. I would gladly buy this course again just for the teaching alone. I’ve taken many online courses but I don’t think I’ve ever learned so much in an online course as in this one.I am really happy to have this chance to learn so many information about React and API.

I would have never expected hearing myself saying "I learned coding for fun and it was relatively easy". Now, here I am Graduating from SheCodes Basics and trying to create my own project. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team for the help.

I really struggled with React. I found it incredibly challenging and really relied on reviewing all the videos multiple times, using the source code, lots of googling, reading others questions in the slack channels. But that being said, the material was presented in great details so I was able to learn all the items but also teach myself how to make send of things. I think I am just going to need a lot of practice working with many, many components. I was very impressed with the layout of the courses and how he was able to "translate". As I have said all along, I highly recommend SheCodes!!

The SheCodes basic workshop journey has been an interesting and creative one for me. Learning and practicing at a the same thing has never been made this easy. Thanks to SheCodes for this opportunity, I have been able to practice the basic programming languages and have been putting them to good use.

SheCodes will blow your mind!! with its amazing community of women interested in coding and the support community on slack is always available to help. Matt is a great instructor and he has a way of breaking complex concepts into simpler bits. I will recommend the SheCodes workshop to any woman interested in coding anytime, anyday. So glad I took this course with SheCodes! I am surprised with how much I was able to learn in a short amount of time. Having the Slack channel was great, I was able to get help whenever I needed it. SheCodes is by far one of the best coding workshop sites, I’ve gone through the SheCodes Basics course. At first, I wasn’t sure that an online course would help me to learn basics of html and css and javascript, but Matt Delac really knows his stuff! The video tutorials and challenges were instrumental in making sure I stayed the course and achieved my goals. The SheCodes team seems to work day and night to get every detail right.

When choosing this course, I did not actually believe that I would be able to understand even the basics of coding and the programming languages were at that time beyond my goals. However, you can never know something is not for you until you try it. This is how my story started with this course. In just three weeks I got completely new base of knowledge and I found out that everything is quite logical. I can say that this course is a great start for someone who is not sure if coding is for them. With the small challenges, projects, and, of course, self-learning you can open to yourself a new world. Just the basics, but what a great opportunity to see what you can actually do yourself!

Today I’m proud ☺️. Today I finish with 3 weeks SheCodes Basic workshop submitting my Final Project :) SheCodes is an extraordinary opportunity to learn a skill that will have you set for life! The lessons are simple, mostly easy, but absolute fun! I have come to like coding and I'm only getting started! The ability to learn on my own time, access to all the resources, and community support is just amazing! Great option to learn the basics of CSS, HTML and Jacascript! Useful to have weekly lessons and homework each week to keep motivated and on track.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has ever been thinking about learning how to code. Easy to follow step-by-step instructions that make the process of learning something that was very new to me less daunting and actually achievable. I really enjoyed it!

At times, SheCodes was intense but I had so much fun! I loved seeing others chat and upload their questions on Slack when they got stuck or when they figured out a problem they were having. I felt a huge sense of camaraderie amongst these talented women as we all came together to figure out a problem. I've learned so much during these three weeks and excited to explore more of the coding world!

I'd highly recommend SheCodes! I've been interested in learning how to code for the past year and while there are tons of free resources, I couldn't motivate myself to finish and there was no one to look over my work so there wasn't any consequences for being sporadic with my studying. With SheCodes, I have deadlines to follow, structure that keeps me organized, challenges and homework that gets marked and projects that really make you work independently and test the skills you learn. I learned so much from Matt already and am excited to move onto the rest of the course. He teaches thoroughly efficiently and doesn't waste time. Additionally, the Slack community is active so getting help and giving help happens 24/7.

It was a pleasure going through all these lessons. Objectively short, nice presentation, and the coolest: non-stop practice. I'm really glad that I've got such an upportunity to learn something useful and amazing.

SheCodes Plus was the challenge I didn't know I need. I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun following Matt's guidance into building a working weather app.

I started this online workshop because I wanted to change my career, even though I thought coding was something impossible to learn or boring I wanted to try it anyway. During the 3 weeks I had some difficulties but nothing I could solve by myself or with the help of this team or the other students. I found out that it's nothing like I had in mind: is so much better than that. I'm still trying to understand if this will be my future career but I can't wait to start the next course and see what happens.

I really enjoyed being part of the SheCodes community and this introduction to coding. I like being creative and learning new things and i'm very proud of my final project and all i've learned during the basic workshop. Thank you for everything.

Great course! So many skills learned and Matt is an excellent teacher, breaking up the work in to bite size sections so you can master each topic as you go!
