I have learnt so much in such a short time and I am able to execute what I have learnt. The class was enjoyable and I have developed an interest in coding. This was amazing! I definitely decided to challenge myself with this project but I think it came out beautifully with it being my first coded project! I've learned so much in a short amount of time and I am looking forward to what else I can create in the next few months. Highly recommend!
I found the course seamless and easy to follow through. I enjoyed the small challenges after every lesson and looked forward to homework every week. I learned so much with SheCodes but it's all about what you do with that knowledge that will get you farthest after you've completed the workshop. I'm really glad I chose SheCodes to help me get started because now I feel comfortable and confident enough to keep learning and coding on my own. Loved the Plus Workshop as well. It was way more complex than the Basic, but it definitely opened my appetite for learning programming languages! I will continue to expand my knowledge and maybe even go further with the next workshop. Don't hesitate to try new things - cause it's worth it!

It is great to be able to learn more about how React work through this add-on workshop, I enjoyed a lot in creating this dictionary project. And I am amazed that how many different APIs we can take advantage of online. Many thanks to Mathieu and his team for creating this opportunity for me to take on this journey and learn a lot about web development. I hope to dive in more advanced topics in the near future. I loved this course. This is everything that I wanted to learn more about as a front-end designer. I love that we leave the class with a completed portfolio website - I've been trying to get mine off the ground for months and this helped push me over that threshold. Can't wait to continue using these skills!
SheCodes has been an incredible experience! I am mostly bedridden and have very limited mental energy due to ME/CFS, but Matt's lessons are simple and enjoyable. Plus the program was very flexible with extensions when I was in health flares. It felt sooo good to actually learn a new skill and feel productive again! I missed that feeling! Also, I love knowing that if my health improves enough to actually stay awake during the day, I now have very desirable skills for a job that I could even do in bed! Thanks SheCodes!
This intro workshop was challenging and fun! The over-the-shoulder format of the lesson videos is super helpful, and the homework and final project really help to solidify everything I've learned so far.
Learning by practicing is the most amazing thing ever, and SheCodes has that and I loved it.
After trying for months to teach myself just one coding language, I knew I had to rethink my approach. I signed up for SheCodes, and it wasn't at all what I expected - it's better. I'm so impressed with how much I've learned in such a short amount of time. Matt is not only an extremely knowledgeable instructor, but he also makes coding fun and exciting. I really enjoy learning to code from SheCode! Matt, is such a great teacher! He simplifies very complex terms into easy and digestible materials. Can't wait to use what I learn and apply it to my own projects.
The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! It provided me with new set of tools for starting designing my own website. Taking a coding class with Matt was definitely a great experience. I feel like I have strong foundation to start coding, and of course will not stop me to keep learning and progressing. So, if you want to learn coding and are waffling on a decision of which courses to attend, pick this one! Strongly recommend!

Learning JS React is complexed, this workshop enabled me to build a working application while expanding my skillset.

At a crossroad in my life, where I was desperate to find something relevant, that also stands for women empowerment and that I could dig my creative claws into - I couldnโt have found ShCodes at a better time. I donโt think Iโve done something so frustrating, but as highly rewarding recently than learning the basics of coding. Having Matt to talk through things with, and make lights of stressful situations was what got me though in the end and I canโt wait to keep practising to eventually become a front end developer, and learn other languages to potentially go further. The world of code seems limitless, with opportunity to enter any industry. My ultimate goal is to be able to build and host my own website from scratch, that will encourage collaboration and interaction. This course has given me the base to build towards that, in terms of the community and the learning material. Thank you SheCodes, I may be back to complete the rest of the packages!๐ซ

I really enjoyed the course. It's well structured and paced in a way that allows it to fit it in busy life. I'm glad I found SheCodes. It's a great platform to start with coding and get completely hooked. I only wish I learned how to code earlier in my life but like they say - it's never too late. Thank you for the past 3 weeks that have been a challenge but also an really cool adventure ๐ I would recommend SheCodes to any woman who wants to change her career or simply just learn how to code and be able to understand what software developers are on about๐
The SheCodes Basic workshop is a great introduction to coding. I began the workshop with no background in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, yet after only a few lessons was able to code a basic webpage. The videos and challenges are structured well, and the pace allows enough time to learn and review as needed.
Learned a lot again this workshop! Very nice! Now take some time to practice whit all the things i learned. And find more information to design a website. Only thing is that i really missed more feedback about my homework.. Only hearing if it's good or not i found really not enought, i would like to get more tips to improve my coding. I expected more for the amount of money you need to pay to follow the workshops.
I want to thank Matt and SheCodes team for making my first steps in coding so easy, fun and fascinating! ๐ I have learned a lot of new things and feel the real progress. I loved learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. ๐ I'm excited to keep evolving and learning. It can be frustrating when something isn't working, but the sense of accomplishment and happiness that fills me after getting it to work is incredible. It's amazing to have Slack for when I'm stuck or have a question.
SheCodes Basic a great way to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JS. I had great funn finishing my challenges and homework's. The lessions are balanced and formed in order to gradually teach new technologies without overwhelming with new information's, as it was the case in some courses I encountered before discovering SheCodes! I am looking forward on continuing my journey whit SheCodes PLUS :)
Thank you Matt for the lessons on React. It's definitely complicated, and coding can be super frustrating especially when the entire project isn't working because of a super tiny mistake. But! It feels amazing when I am able to find the problem and fix it. I can't wait to participate in the Add-ons and keep learning. Thank you to all the specialists on Slack too!

A very enjoyable online learning experience overall. The course exceeded my expectations. Building project was never as amiable as with SheCodes.
It was not easy, but I did it! A great workshop, an interesting project! I learned so much about JavaScript during these 8 weeks!

It is very useful to have someone to take you through the steps of building a project. Contains useful information and I was really happy to learn about the programs and systems used by programmers to build projects.

I loved the SheCodes Workshop. Very practical lectures with lots of exercises to start coding by yourself. It's defenitely the start to my coding journey and I will be back taking classes with Matt for the next level workshops. Would highly recommend if you want to change career paths, are a designer that wants to learn coding or are just curious about this world!
This was a great add-on project to flex all the things I've learnt and to create something a little more advanced. It was perfectly paced and I enjoyed the videos and my final project. I like how I had to lean on some of my previously learned knowledge too.

SheCodes has provided me with an opportunity to not only expand my programming skills, but also to explore my creative skills, which has been great fun! I really enjoyed learning with SheCodes! Lessons are well done and easy to understand especially for a beginner like me. They do get you excited and hooked up into wishing to learn more. This is a perfect course for all levels. A great way to learn React is by practicing. The course structure is just perfect and covers all the basics. The assignments are extremely helpful in reinforcing the concepts that you've acquired throughout the course.
I am officially a big fan of these "Add-on" workshops. They give me the experience and practice that I need to more fully comprehend what I learned in the original workshop, therefore, giving me more confidence. This particular workshop pushed me further into understanding functions and javascript.

It was very fun yet challenging to learn advanced coding skills. The real-life project helped me better understand web development as well as 'do's and 'not do's. I still feel there is a lot more to learn/explore and am excited about the next workshop.
