I had fun learning with SheCodes! I was a little worried about getting into coding again but SheCodes was great for me to get back into it.
The course has been very good. The fact that you can do it whenever you have time to sit with your computer has been a lot of help. Other workshops or bootcamps can't fit my working schedule. The content is well structured and presented and explained in a practical and functional way, while the weekly deadline motivates you to keep on working regularly. Great course for absolute begginers, for those who are not sure if this is their thing and for people who, like me, learnt something some years ago and want to keep back on track and don't feel confident. Definetely I am joining the Plus workshop!
It's been really fun learning to code with She Codes!
Thank you so much! I started from scratch and it was so simple! Anyone can learn how to code and all the information I was taking in began to stack on to the previous lessons seamlessly! I wanted to learn on my own and had no idea where to start! With She Codes I did not have to figure anything out and everything I needed to know was laid out at my feet. πΈπ
After a while looking for a course which would make me actually finish it...I found SheCodes. Not just felt like finishing it but defitnely I will do other workshops in the platform. The information and skills learned in this course will help me achieve my goals in work and my personal life.
I've learned a lot during the Basic course and am so happy that I discovered I like coding. I just upgraded to the Pro course :)
Never in my wildest dreams would I think I would love something so much. I started off going to school to become a lawyer, but as also a Stay at home mom I soon realized I had other passions. I really love what SheCodes has taught me so far, I look forward to learning more in the near future.
This is my 2nd SheCodes workshop. I would recommend this workshop if you are looking to advance your basic knowledge of coding and web development. I really enjoyed learning more complex elements of JavaScript that I didn't know before. I must admit that I felt a bit of disappointment at the very last lesson. Throughout the entire workshop, I was expecting to learn how to add code to convert the weekly forecast for our weather projects into Fahrenheit & Celsius. Instead, the last lesson has us removing the unit conversions entirely from the web page & saying that it is too complex to do for this workshop. I would have really liked to see how to do this. Despite that, I am proud of the web page I built and found this to be another great workshop!
SheCodes has been an amazing experience. I was a little hesitant at first, as I learnt to code in a statistical software during my masters, but I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. Nonetheless SheCodes has been an amazing experience. The lessons are very interactive and Matt does an amazing job of breaking down the concepts related to HTML, CSS and Java Script. I loved the fact that staff & students were readily available to support with any questions that I may have regarding my code or certain topics. I have throughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning about the field of coding.
I really enjoyed working on this workshop. My biggest problem was learning when to stop when creating my website. I would highly recommend this course for any woman interested in the world of front-end development. Thank you Matt and the SheCode's team.

I Cannot believe how much I learned in the past months. I know I have a lot more to learn, but I am really happy for how far I got thanks to Shecodes. Iv always been passionate about learning to code as I find it challenging and interesting especially whilst working closely with developers. I just couldn't find the right course however, when heard about 'SheCodes' thought id give it a try. Enrolling was the best thing I did I have already learnt how to code using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Editor which is great achievement for me. I like the way the course is broken down to small weekly workshops, lessons and homework all of which was easy to grasp. Thanks Matt your teaching technique is amazing and the support from the team on slack is on point! Look forward to doing the next course and learn more!

After going through all the workshops, this one by far was the hardest to understand but SheCodes makes it as easy as possible to get the concepts down. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in continuing to learn coding, especially such an in-demand concept as React JS.

I loved being able to apply the skills I learned to multiple projects! SheCodes is setting me up for success in the world of Front End Development.
I always thought that coding is not for me and that it was totally black magic. After being frustrated with not finding the right job, I jokingly said to myself 'Maybe it's time to learn how to code... cause this at least seems to be in demand these days.' I followed this thought, signed up and definitely don't regret it! I really enjoyed the course, and at the very end creating the final project was pure fun! :) I liked the structure of the workshops - the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tasks were challenging sometimes but not too difficult. 10/10! :)
Very clear explanation with good examples, making it easy to test and learn. Matt provides information gradually, from simple to more complicated, encouraging to repeat, so itβs not so difficult to memorize.
I truly enjoyed the Basics course - the materials covered, the set up, the challenges. It is a fun, engaging and accessible model that I believe anyone could learn coding from. So glad I decided to take this and take the leap!
Despite the challenges faced while taking this course, I was able to write complex codes without being overwhelmed. SheCodes is a great platform to learn coding from the basics to the professional level with the help of their online guided tutorials and responsive teams via slack. SheCodes makes coding fun, interactive, and interesting to me. I can't wait to become a frontend developer in the future
I highly recommend SheCodes workshops. All lessons were presented in clean and easy to understand way. You don't just learn the code, you also learn how solve problems that may arise during the development process .
Very cool workshop! It was much harder than Basic (for me), but it was very inspiring. You have to be ready to learn some things on your own to better understand what is happening and how it is working, and not just repeat after the mentor. It was very interesting to build something that works.

I really enjoyed all the SheΠ‘odes courses. The last one (React.js) was not easy, but still very interesting. I plan to continue making sites and work in this direction. SheΠ‘odes workshops were a very good start for me. Of course, you need to spend a lot of time on self learning, but with the course it is much easier.
I really enjoyed this workshop! I got to learn just enough to know if coding is something I want to pursue, and I do! Matt's videos are thorough but easy to follow. Also, when I joined slack, the team members were friendly! If you aren't sure whether coding is for you, I highly recommend that you give it a try! ^-^

Loved SheCodes! It was a perfect intro for a busy mom because the videos were short - sweet - to the point and then they were followed with a challenge to use the topic just learned. It was so helpful to immediately apply the lessons as it demanded focus and didn't allow multi-tasking. Which most of us are guilty of!

Highly recommend this workshop to everyone! I find React more interesting and fun as I learn through the lessons. I've gained more knowledge about how React works with the advanced features. The workshop are definitely challenging sometimes but with all the resources and help that you can get from online and Slack, I find it very rewarding when I was able to figure out the codes and debug the errors.

I feel like I learned a lot, however nothing is very taught in depth After the HTML and CSS weeks I did the FreeCodeCamp challenges and felt like I was way better prepared However, Matt explains things really well and gives great tips on how to be more efficient while coding, I just wish the lessons had more depth and more small challenges.
This basic course is insightful and offers taste of what programming is. It is fairly easy to learn through the videos recorded by Matt. I think that the course is well structured and leaves room to do research on your own.

Another great learning process on coding in the React workshop. Getting to know different way of coding and gaining more knowledge of more advanced features. Quite challenging sometimes but with all the available resources, this made the self-learning process possible.

I haven't played around with HTML or CSS since making MySpace skins as a teenager. This course was a great refresher to dust off those skills. And I learned a brand new skill with the introduction to Javascript. The lessons were short and straightforward so the time commitment was very reasonable while working fulltime. The challenges for each section helped you build off of each previous lesson, showing how HTML, CSS and Javascript can be used in conjunction. Highly recommend for beginners and those who need a refresher!
I was a bit nervous at first trying to learn a new language. I guess with repetitive steps it helps me feel a little more confident toward my next assignment. I honestly hope I am able to keep up with all these new terms . I'm sure if I keep putting my head to the zone, it will all come into place. Also, as a parent and working at night, it makes it a lot easier for me to have my time to truly understand the step by step process from these workshops. Thank you!
Coding is proving to be quite challenging, but with the step-by-step teaching style as well as plenty of projects to apply everything you learn as you go, it doesn't feel too overwhelming.

These workshops are amazing. Before I started learning to code with SheCodes, all this looked complicated and intimidating to me. Thanks to SheCodes, I saw that coding is interesting and exciting. It's not always easy, sometimes like a puzzle. But it's not scary anymore. It's very fascinating. The more new information I get during my studies, the more confident I feel in front-end coding.

Yes you might be able to look up free videos online but having this workshop motivates you to want to get it done. It is structured to teach you in the clearest way possible so you learn everything in a specific order to not get lost. If someone out there is looking for a structured workshop to learn coding, this is a great start!
