This course was my first experience in learning to code and it was great! I feel like I learned a lot and now have a good foundation to continue learning coding with!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this course for the past three weeks, it reminded me of how quick I can pick things up and that coding isn't as "scary" as it's often made out to be. I definitely recommend taking SheCodes workshops (whatever the length), as you're not just helping yourself grow, but somewhere in the world your money is also helping someone else learn.

I recently migrated to Australia from the US. I have zero experience with coding! I want to start a career in tech and I was referred to SheCodes from a colleague. This three week workshop has been challenging at times, but wow the resources and the way the lessons are designed you have all the support you need to figure out the solution. Also, with my current employer I work daily with our dev team and this hands-on knowledge I am/will be learning can help me immediately in my current role during my conversations with customer onboards during the integration process with different CRM’s to our LMS software. I plan to continue onto the SheCodes plus program and fingers crossed I will succeed in becoming a developer one day!

A few months ago, I decided to embark on a mission to learn how to code and hopefully completely change my career path. Why?- because I know how much freedom I could gain from the great lifestyle coding can provide. I always had a huge admiration for technology but was completely clueless on how to use it. I started to research a bit and learn on my own for about 1.5 months. After that I applied for a bootcamp here in NYC but quickly realized that they wanted me to know way more (a timed admission test was given) then I was capable to learn. I was wondering, if the school wants me to know so much before I have even started, then why do I need them at all? Plus, $16.000 (tuition for the bootcamp/12 weeks) is a huge chunk of money if you ask me. That's when I decided to go the self-taught rout. I did so for another week or so and quickly learned that I needed some structure. That's when SheCodes made it's entrance :D After doing some research I understood that the program is for complete beginners like myself and that it was quite interactive. By that I mean, you don't just read about an assignment and then try to solve it, you get to see the process thought by Matt the founder and then you try yourself. It made so much sense to me. I signed up for the full course and just completed the BASIC one of three weeks. So far, it has definitely been great and productive. I love how you can always go back and relearn topics. I also love how all the topics are bite sized so you don't feel overwhelmed. You go at your own pace but still have deadlines which help you stay focused. Looking forward to the next step-SheCodes PLUS. Happy learning :)

Learning at your own pace is fantastic and the classes are very easy to understand.

It was a quite challenging workshop, but very interesting and exciting! We learned how to build applications on React and finally created two React projects. All lessons have enough information to explain how to do the tasks. Any questions about coding are answered by SheCodes team. Thank you, for your work! It’s a very good, useful and quality course!

SheCodes is amazing! It's the best class I've ever taken. I can learn on my own time and Matt's able to teach "the impossible" in a way that makes it seem simple.

When I was wondering about "What NEXT?" in my life, the thought of career change hit my head. Then started googling about learning coding sitting at my comfort zone (as having a toddler). SheCodes is a boon to me. I am not finding appropriate words to express my gratitude to Mr. Matt and his team. I am going to continue learning the advanced courses with SheCodes. I have got my confidence back after joining SheCodes. Being an unemployed for about 8 years in another country and now getting confidence back to kickstart my career was unimaginable. What an incredible journey! SheCodes definitely gave me a strong base for understanding what it takes to become a developer. It takes courage, and a lot of trial & error. The SheCodes Plus training has been an incredible experience for me and I am so happy that I worked hard on the challenges, submitted my homework and finished the big project to practice so many things we've learned. I decided to enroll in SheCodes after I wanted to try something different for a career. I tried some coding apps and I absolutely loved the process, so I searched for something more structured to learn coding on a deeper level. I am so happy I found SheCodes! I think it is also so great it is targeted towards women. I had a lot of fun learning the basics, especially working on my final project. Thank You Matt Delac and the team! Everything start with a curiosity appaired during the Covid lockdown, when everything was moved in online. So my curiosity was what if to one point I'd reconsider my career. So I start with an IT course for beginner and was a failed one, but I continue and by chance I saw on Insta Shecodes. So thank to you and your learning format things became coherent, even I know that would be a long way ahead. Thank you!

Matt was a wonderful teacher! I knew nothing in regards to coding. Fast forward to now, I feel well versed in what we learned in the Basics workshop. I am HIGHLY considering continuing the following coding workshops with SheCodes and I just can not wait to learn more.

SheCodes Plus is well organized, active workshop. All the courses, challenges, team help not only learn programming in an easy way but also prepare people to real life projects and works.

I enjoyed very much this workshop! It was challenging, but also very interesting. I was very excited doing the weather app and learning new things for me. I really appreciate that SheCodes gave me an opportunity to learn how to code. And at the end I have made my own WeatherApp project. I'm so excited! I highly recommend this workshop.

The workshop is just great, not only you learn, you also get to the practical use of the language. I also code backend development in Java language, but creativity was always my forte. I am glad I signed up to "SheCodes". I expand my learning up to "SheCodes Pro".

I am so proud of myself for everything I've learnt so far with SheCodes. SheCodes has made it possible for me to set myself up with new skills & hopefully a new career, all whilst raising a baby as a single Mum and working part time. The format of the lessons and deadlines ensures I keep going even when things are tough, but the option of extensions means I can take a week off if life has been particularly tough (which it often is!)

Another huge step is done. I feel more confident and I know it's worth learning. Matt is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher and the team is great. Thank you! You are awesome, I am going to the next level - SheCodes React, I am looking forward to starting it.

In continuation of learning programming, i'm making more and more progress thanks to the team SheCodes! On the responsive course, I finally understood how multi-page sites work and enjoyed the creative variety of portfolio designs. It was interesting and helpful as always 🤗

I am super delighted to take part in the SheCodes Basics Workshop! Information is well structured and taught with positivity, Matt is really good and patient teacher, explaining everything from the beginning. The exercises were fun, yet some of them challenging, so I think I learned a lot. I am sure that it is only start for me in coding, so looking forward to continue with further courses! I just finished the Basics module, I learned a lot about HTML, CSS, and Java through these 3 weeks. Matt is a great teacher, it is easy to understand and every class is really explicative. I am glad I got enrolled in SheCodes, I am looking forward to learning more in the next workshops.

SheCodes makes it so easy to learn code, to learn things I was always scared of or intimidated by. However, after these past 8 weeks, I feel extremely confident, not only because of the knowledge I know have but because I see how easy it is to learn things my brain cannot even imagine yet.

I received my BA in software development from university, including Python and Java. I am a junior Ruby on Rails developer. I joined SheCodes to properly learn front-end development and expand my skills.

SheCodes Responsive gave me a sense of becoming an actual web designer. As Matt provided the practical tools to build a website that is mobile friendly, I got to learn, practice, and actualize website development throughout the course. Since I have not touched on JavaScript, I am a bit concerned that I might have forgotten a lot of what I have learned previously😥 Notwithstanding, I am excited to move onto the next and the last course SheCodes React while solidifying what I have been learning with SheCodes.

I have just completed my third week and I have to say I have learnt and enjoyed it a lot so far! Can't wait to start the pro max course 👌

SheCodes Basics is a great beginner course and I've learned html, css and javascript in a way and in an environment that was a lot less intimidating and a lot more fun that i initially expected. Looking forward to doing more workshops!

Another great workshop! Learned so much about using CSS libraries, responsiveness, and search engine optimization. Matt is a superb instructor that provides you with a lot of important knowledge and he builds up your confidence in an excellent way. Had a lot of fun making my final project!

It was difficult, but fun to learn about API's and go more in depth with coding. I had a great time creating the final project. Once again, Matt has made coding understandable and fun.

I was so exited to work on my own portfolio, although it took more time for me to built it than I thought, but I'm so happy to finish it! With every new lesson everything becomes more clear for me! The structure of learning coding in SheCodes is amazing! I like that you initially omit some difficult things, but then gradually you explain it in a simple way, so that the students don't have a mess in their heads. Its so valuable. I have been wanting to learn how to make responsive websites, and this workshop has helped me a lot. The step by step guide and explanation by Matt has provided me with insights on how we can go about it. I am really excited to take the opportunity to create my portfolio during this workshop. This was my 4th SheCodes workshop and, just like the others, this was an amazing experience. It was my first time working with react, these courses are always a great way to start learning. You go step by step and, at the same time, understand the great power of each technology or tool.

Once I finished the Basic Coding Course, I was excited to jump into the Plus course. It has been a fantastic experience building a weather app from scratch and enhancing the skills I learned in the first course. Where do I start?!… The reason for joining this workshop was to learn a new skill that could help me change careers. At first, quite a few things weren't clicking because, I do admit, I am a slow learner; which is nothing to be embarrassed about, but it takes people like me a little longer to grasp information. it's been like a roller-coaster! some concepts were easier to understand than the others... there were moments I felt frustrated but there were moments when I felt proud of myself! I definitely learnt a lot and realized how much more there is to learn, that's why I am continuing my journey with SheCodes :)

After taking the last six months to settle into life in Canada, I started feeling itchy to learn something new again. That's when I saw an ad for a free SheCodes intro session. Working in Marketing, I've always seen knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS as a desired skill and thanks to SheCodes, I now have that knowledge. SheCodes React gives you the necessary confidence you need to learn a very popular framework. It has been a long exciting journey, where I had the opportunity to build some amazing projects. The videos are easy to follow and you can test yourself with the challenges.

If you enjoy learning by doing, you will love SheCodes! Each lesson video is short and the instructor gives you a chance to try the skill on your own in the lesson challenge. The short videos and fast pace kept me from getting too overwhelmed during the course. I'm really proud that I was able to build my first website in just a few weeks. I can't wait to continue with the next course and see what else I am able to accomplish with the help of SheCodes!

Learning React was both challenging and enjoyable! The videos were easy to follow and I loved having both the Weather and Dictionary projects! It has taught me a lot about using React.

I've been thinking of switching my career direction in IT for a while after over 7 years in HR. I joined this workshop with zero knowledge in coding but with an open mind. What I can say after three weeks of studying is that the course is not only interesting but also super fun and encouraging. There is still so much to learn but thanks to SheCodes I'm ready :).

This is my third week into studying with SheCodes and it's been good so far. As a beginner, I think this course has a good mix of exercises, demonstrations and a practical "hands-on" approach. It's challenging, and you learn to build on your problem-solving skills. Overall, it's been a good experience over the last few weeks.

This step was more difficult than the Basics one, but it was very interesting and fun:) I really thank SheCodes then I can learn to code.

Found this course fantastic. It allowed me to learn in a fun way. I had started by attempting other JavaScript courses but found it a little hard to follow and keep the enthusiasm. This course is made in a very nice and simple way and you apply everything you have learnt as you move along. This helps the learning process and putting everything together. Sometimes it was actually addictive :). I have done the Basics and now the Plus. Maybe in the near future, I can do the next ones too. Thank you SheCodes!!
