A great start to my learning the basics of programming. Thank you for helping to take this first step!

I'm 37 years old and I always believed coding wasn't for me. I even studied Python in college and totally hated it. Right now, after completing the basic module with SheCodes, I not only like the fact that I can work with front-end developing (and avoid what I didn't really enjoy learning), but I feel so much more confident to go to the next level on this learning journey. I could see that I'm 100% capable of becoming a professional developer in the near future. Thank you for the experience, Matt. It was a pleasure learning with your methodology!

Great Course. I started off with no previous knowledge or experience and very nervous to study again after such a long time. however I have learnt so much in only 3 weeks. Matt delivers the lessons in a way even I understood. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed learning. Really excited to build on what I have learnt.

Each course is better than the last, and I am learning so much so fast! It is so satisfying to be able to make a responsive website so that it looks nice on phone or a computer. I can't wait to keep learning in the next course.

It's genuinely amazing how much you can learn in 3-4months. From SheCodes Basics to SheCodes React, I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge from all 4 courses in this program. It's a very complete introduction to web development, you can learn very neat tricks to use in your every day coding websites, for example the extension Colorzilla is a very useful tool to get a specific color and give you the hexadecimal to use in your code. This is a very good way to start your career as a frontend developer.

I am delighted with the SheCodes Workshops, it is a very powerful tool for learning coding, the lessons are designed in an interesting and consistent way, smoothly moving from elementary to quite complex. I totally recommend it to everyone!

I like the idea of learning something while you're creating something. Step by step. I quess it`s a good approach to master coding. But every student should clearly understand, that only hard work and self-learning can bring them to success. Thanks for good classes :)

I work with IT and do some back end but had no experience with front end. I saw that this course is focused on women and fell in love with it even before starting it. I love that every lesson we are challenged to code and practice what we have learned and at the end of the course we really are capable of completing a project on our own!

learning front-end coding is an absolute-must, specially for those who are passionate to learn UX/UI design. The lessons are simplified and very well explained and I had lots of fun during my learning process.

I've always wanted to learn how to code but i haven't had the time and opportunity, a friend introduced me to SheCodes and i was so delighted, it came at the right time, though i have a busy schedule i was able to squeeze this in. SheCode has been an empowering experience. I've transformed from someone who pretends to know how to code, to a strong confident developer. i had a lot of fun learning and completing my projects.

This workshop was definitely more challenging than the basics-workshop, but also even more fun! With all the tools SheCodes gives you through the lessons, slack and through googling, I guarantee you will make it through and feel successful. This workshop has challenged my problem solving- and googling-skills, making me also learn how to use the proper terms. Listening to different podcasts about coding I've understood that the skills you learn in this Plus-workshop is crucial if you want to put the code to use through a website - as we also learn how to host a website.

That was an extremely challenging workshop for me! However, I enjoyed every single moment and piece of code. It gave me the patience to work through the code and taught me not to be afraid of making mistakes. And code and code... I am so proud of myself to make the app showing real forecast data. I was super nervous to learn React but the SheCodes curriculum really broke it apart into learnable & attainable bits and slowly integrated them all together. Mentally it was hard to switch gears to React from JS but once you practiced and it got familiar it was neat to see all the cool things you can do using React. This course is a must if you want to know and understand how to use & build react apps. It really helped to open both windows and code right beside Matt as he was doing it real time.

This was so much fun, honestly, I had a blast! The more I learn, the more invested I become. I struggled a little bit during this workshop, but it was all worth it in the end. The confusion, anger and frustration all paid off. I feel very powerful and strong and ready to learn MORE!

It's been great learning about coding. I didn't have any experience prior to joining SheCodes but the instructions and examples have made it an enjoyable learning journey for me.

I really enjoyed SheCodes. It is my second final project and again the videos are easy to understand and for beginners, you learn the basics and get into practice in no time. It is the first time for me in this area and SheCodes opened up a lot of new and interesting things. At first I wanted to try myself, now I really liked it and I want to develop it further! This course was definitely worth trying. I feel like I learned a good basic level of code knowledge. If you're thinking about learning to code I feel like this is a good beginners option to start with and see if it is for you or not. Overall I would recommend because it is pretty interesting information.

I had forgotten so much HTML. Learned a lot about CSS and excited to learn more about JavaScript.

Responsive Course made it possible to correct errors in the display of the project, which used to be so frustrating.It gave me new skills to make the site adaptive to mobile devices and to learn more about Bootstrap.

Very good formation for learning the first steps of code. Interesting and nice way to learn. The instructor is a good teacher, anticipating the potentials problems or misunderstoods we could meet. He explains in a clear way every lessons, even if it's already more technical. The team is also very good. Awesome course! Just what I needed to refresh my knowledge and learn a few new things!

I decided to take SheCodes Basic as a complete novice in coding. I am sooo happy that I took the plunge! It was a bit challenging but with grit and lots of patience, I was able to complete the course with time to spare. I recommend to anyone that is considering learning coding to pick a path and dive in. Matt is a great instructor and having videos to refer to whenever you need was so helpful.

I found the SheCodes basics workshop easy to follow and the Slack channel offers quick support. I feel like a learned a good amount in a short period of time.

The course is great for beginners. Thank you very much to the team of SheCodes and to the teacher Matt for the knowledge which was received. I enjoyed learning and doing my homework. Sometimes it was difficult (especially the last big project lol) but it doesn't mean that it wasn't enjoyable. The team via email and on Slack was very nice and helpful.

Today I finished my 1st SheCodes workshop, 3 more to go!! A few weeks ago i decided to started my journey with SheCodes workshop 👩‍💻 "Introduction to coding". It was a great experience learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VS Code. Before I started learning, I had no experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VS Code. Glad I signed-up for SheCodes workshop and very excited to gain more experience in the Tech. industry. Matthieu Delac has made it so easy to learn through videos (online learning) that even a person with no tech. background can do it.

This workshop was the most difficult and the most interesting. I'm proud of my final work. I really enjoyed working on it. Many many thanks to SheCodes team for this amazing course and opportunity to learn coding!

Super fun to work on projects with SheCodes. You learn so much about techniques and professional tools to use, and while having super easy instructions, you can play around and put your own touch on everything. Its been lovely learning how to code with shecodes and being able to work on your own time

My pivot from the world of Education to Technology was swift and rewarding. I found that you can start over many times, in tech, as each new language requires a new understanding. SheCodes made an immediate impact on my ability to understand the foundations of coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Matt took his time to explain each new project and the layout supports the learning path. I did this to prove to myself that I am capable and to better understand the Engineers I support on a daily basis. I recommend this to anyone looking to pick up a new tech stack, quickly. I have really enjoyed building my weather app (although it has really tested my brain at some points). I feel more comfortable with JS/CSS/HTML than before and can see why it is such a great programming language to learn!

I found the 3 week beginner course with SheCodes really interesting. It was challenging at times, but broken down enough for a beginner to get my head round it.
