It was an unforgettable learning experience! Matt's lessons whith the with the small steps technique made it possible to master quite difficult material. I will missing this learning, because SheCodes are great workshops. I am proud of my project and proud to have graduated. I hope that this is just the beginning of my Front-end developer career.
I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!
Learning React and practicing all these technics with SheCodes and Matt was an incredible journey. I couldn't even imagine 3 months ago that I would be able to create projects like this. Matt is an amazing teacher, he can arouse interest in programming from the very first lesson and give a chance to start a new life with new career opportunities in tech. Thank you for this experience, I will miss our workshops and I absolutely sure this is just the beginning!

I have really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes! It's definitely challenging but you also really feel a sense of achievement when you figure it out. The courses are super engaging, easy to follow and the deadlines keep you accountable. I also love that support is always available from the SheCodes team and other students on Slack. I think its the first course I've done in my life that I actually look forward to sitting down and working on, highly recommend so far! :)
Learning via SheCodes is awesome. You'll learn everything step by step and can work on it. Matt is great at explaining complicated topics. SheCodes' team is also available to assist you if you feel stuck. Therefore, they all contribute to making it an enjoyable experience.
Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Classes are well guided and there is always support from SheCodes team and fellow learners in case you get stuck.

It was great to spend these 3 weeks learning the coding basics, I thought things were going to be harder to understand, but I totally loved it, I spent time building a website even using some coding I was not taught, this has changed my life and the perspective I had about coding, I will totally continue learning with SheCodes.

Taking a coding class as a busy mom of 2 babies seemed hard, but this course made it doable! Small quick videos and engaging challenges made learning fun. I know that I will be able to continue to build upon the skills I have just learned.
SheCodes Basic is a great journey in itself. I loved the way workshops are structured with challenges that give ideas for using the learnings from workshops on our own. It's hard to believe that my second workshop of SheCodes Plus has been completed! What an amazing thing to be able to create a real-time weather application! Another great experience with SheCodes workshop. Building my own portfolio website from scratch was real fun. I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! 👨🏫 One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. This was best coding course I took, and one of the best courses generally! The thing I liked the most is that there are real life examples, also it is done in a way that with each lesson there is challenge which you have to do by yourself. This way you can immediately check did you understood everything that has been said during lesson. It is just the right ratio between listening and practice. The structure of lessons is done in a way that you can learn lot of practical things and get general overview into coding, something that would take lot of time to figure it all on its own. Concept of deadline is also great idea, because you need to challenge and push yourself. Time is more than enough to finish everything so if you do it before deadline you feel proud😊.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

What to say ? Again awesome content, great explanations and exercises . This workshop was the most challenging one so far but I loved it. I must admit, at times it was frustrating because you have to learn some advanced concepts, but once you get it you realize it is definitely worth it because with this approach your code is much clearer and more manageable. And it's even more fun to code now. I recommend it to everyone that has passed frontend development course as the next step :)

I worry a lot that I won't be able to turn this into a career. I worry that I am not able to learn the material, then I hop on and complete a lesson and watch what I am learning come to life in real time as I code. Completing the Plus project has helped to boost my confidence that I can do this! I am excited to move onto the next course.

SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging for me. I had experienced a number of predicaments during this course. When I sought for help from the SheCodes support team, they offered me external sources to get educated on which I had struggled to understand. Also, I learned a lot from a student I came across whose project I found amazing and educational. As I reached out to her, she kindly replied to my message and shared her experience in coding. I have been truly enjoying my coding journey through SheCodes. It is truly fulfilling when I get to solve the issues and make my codes work. I cannot wait to learn with SheCodes further.

It was nice to learn responsive site coding. Also being active user of Slack this time was a nice idea. Looking at the questions of the others helps to get even more practice. Especially when I was trying to find a solution for them.
SheCodes has been such an accommodating learning resource because it has taken me over a year to finally complete this intro program (with full time studies and full time work). I think I may have undiagnosed ADHD so the many extensions that were provided to me were very reassuring. I appreciate how easy to follow the challenges were and I now have a solid introduction to html, css and js. I hope I can continue on this journey some time in the future!
During these three weeks, I learned that coding can be for those who want to learn it and that it is not as difficult as thought. Matt uses very simple language so everyone can understand what is being explained during the lessons. I've enjoyed everything that I learned and I think that I will be investing in my coding skills from now on!

This is a great workshop to combine all of your previous knowledge and to actually use it. And of course to learn about SEO and Responsive. Loved to make the final project for this workshop and I'm going to definetely improve it with time.

This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. Learning was easy to understand and I like the way how workshop was set up: learning by examples, lots of hints and useful links, tools, that I can already use.
I grew my skills and learned a lot about Bootstrap, Responsiveness, and SEO. Creating a portfolio was the highlight of the course.

The lessons were well organised, and I really liked the self-paced nature. I also like that there were challenges along the way, because it really made you think about what you learned and apply it straight away. I would highly recommend this course for anyone thinking about learning to code.
