SheCodes Plus Responsive was great fun and I learned a lot! Matt's videos are great and he demonstrates everything in a clear and easy to follow manner. Building the portfolio website was challenging at times, but it was great to put the learning into practice and really rewarding to have the end product. I enjoyed having the freedom to get creative and put my own spin on Matt's design. Highly recommend giving the Responsive workshop a try!
The goal was to learn more outside of the classroom, and I truly did. It will take practice to get better at coding but I gained so much from the workshop and am interested in taking the higher level ones once I have the time to. If you have any interest, go ahead and scratch the itch. We pay for Netflix subscriptions and overpriced coffee, might as well pay for something that'll set you a part in your field.
SheCodes has been really interesting and good learning curve. I am enjoying it thoroughly.
I mostly took this course for fun and with the thought that I might someday look into using these skills in a job. I really enjoyed everything I learned, and I will most likely be coming back to take the other workshops so I actually could transition to a career in coding.
SheCodes was a very good introduction to coding for me. I found the material was presented in an easy-to-understand way and did a great job of piquing my curiosity to learn more about coding! I like that the homework assignments reinforce what I learned and that the final project brought everything together.

I learned so much so quickly on this course! There was a lot to cover, and I really liked the fact that there were 2 projects, so by the time I completed the dictionary project I felt that I had a very good understanding of the basics (and plenty of the more complex concepts too). Actually React is too difficult for understanding when having only basic knowledge of JavaScript. I'm grateful SheCodes Support Team for their care and patience. Guys, you are cool! I wouldnβt have created two projects for three weeks without you. Dear girls future students, if you don't know what is it coding but want to do it, I would recommend you apply to SheCodes and try it. Here you will learn what it's HTML / CSS / JavaSrcipt, will work with different libraries, will know how to integrate to your project API. And of course, you will eat a peck of salt with Node.js and React.js. I envy you that you have this fascinating journey yet to come. Wish you happy coding!

I tried every book and online workshop there was to try to learn coding but nothing worked until I decided to try SheCodes. The videos are very detailed and easy to follow and the team is very supportive and quick to respond if you get stuck and need help.
It was a very challenged course but learned a lot. So happy to have taken this course and so exited to use all i learned in real life.

It is a very good workshop, and I've learned a lot of basic skills in Javascript.
This course has been great to put the skills I've learnt to the test in a real-life project. I've built on my basic knowledge and learnt more advanced structures, particularly in Java Script.
I have enjoyed every learning challenge in this course. The first week was the toughest for me due to taking in all of the new information but the SheCodes community in Slack was always super helpful with any questions I had. I've discovered a new (and enjoyable) interest in coding and am looking forward to pursuing more knowledge and experience in it!
I'm so inspired by this course that I'm definetely considering changing to this profession in the future. Even though the learning process can be a bit irritating from time to time, this is only due to my own finite knowledge in this area. I cannot wait to learn more!!

I really enjoy the learning process at SheCodes. The ability to double-check yourself even when something does not work out, the clear structure and logic of the presentation of the material - everything is at the highest level. I feel a great responsibility for learning when it is structured in an understandable way (the duration of each video, the process shown by the teacher, consolidating the material and especially checking the passed with the analysis of errors)

Prior to starting SheCodes, I had no coding experience nor knew if it was something I'd enjoy, but Matt's videos are fun and super easy to follow. The challenges in between lessons are a perfect test of what was just learned. Even if I didn't grasp a concept initially, I could always go back and watch the lessons; even from previous modules. What I really enjoyed is I could watch the videos and do my homework from anywhere in the world, on my own time. I am also grateful for the amazing SheCodes team who were quick, kind and patient when answering questions. Thanks!!

I enjoyed the workshop because you don't have to watch consecutive so you won't get exhausted. Also you have to try your learnings and this make your learnings more memorable.

Another great workshop! It was interesting to not only learn how to rebuild my vanilla JS weather project using the new skills that we learned for React, but to be able to build a whole other Dictionary project as well. As always, Matt's lessons were easy to follow along, and made learning the advanced concepts less intimidating.
I've learned a lot in this course. Lessons are fun and easy to understand. Matt is a great teacher. And team is very helpful. I enjoy coding and can't wait to continue. Would recommend to everybody. Happy to be part of this.
I had always thought that coding and programming languages were so difficult and totally unlearnable, but only 3 weeks in my coding journey and I can't believe I am totally killing it! They teaching videos are so simplified and easy to grasp. They challenges after each lesson encourages practices and mastery and are fun to do. They projects are a total game-changer. personally, i've had countless amount of attempts to start programming learning. i permanently blamed myself for not acting, because i had put off my development for more than a year. in the past, during my training, my emotional state was reduced to boredom and irritation every time. It was a great adventure to learn basic of coding and starting from complete beginner I discovered I really enjoy it! Lessons were very clear and well explained However taking course in a summer was definitely challenging! ;) As per structure five hours per week for me was not enough because I like to take things slowly and repeat... So definitely option to delay was very useful! Highly recommend!
Responsive taught me the most practical skills thus far! Without a responsive site, you're nothing in today's world. The way that Matt breaks down concepts and builds on skills is excellent and really makes it possible to learn so much in such a short amount of time. Excited to complete the final workshop and put my skills to use in the real world!

I am a SAP HCM consultant and for some time now I have been feeling stagnant in my area of work, like my work is a bit redundant and not as challenging. For this reason I decided to switch my career and start learning front end web dev. After finishing my SheCodes basic project I feel confident about my decision to switch my career and am looking forward to my next lessons and projects.
