I really enjoyed this workshop. As I keep going, it just cements in me that I can do hard things. Matt is a really great instructor. And I enjoy the fact that he does not edit out his mistakes or comes off as if he knows everything there is. I like that he Googles when he's stuck and acknowledges when he makes mistakes and assures you not to panic if it happens to you. It helps to know that its okay to make mistakes and that there is always a way to fix them.
Honestly, this workshop was not easy, but thanks to instructor Matt and the whole SheCodes team, I was able to advance from basic to more advanced skills. I faced many bugs and challenges, but persistence paid off. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to improve their skills. It really takes your foundational knowledge to the next level. What a journey! React.js was tedious but once you get the hang of it, wow the things you can create. I really like the way Matt breaks things down, I am a visual learner so being able to follow along and then try things on my own, really helped the learning process.
