Coming back to JS after all the responsive fun was hard at first, but once I got the gist of React, I just soaked it up. Once again a really fun and valuable workshop by Matt Delac. Getting familiar and professional with React, while building a Weather application, felt amazing. Thanx to SheCodes 🚀
It's a lot of work to get a website to look like this but I hope that building such landing pages will be good practice as well as good portfolio material.
It's been such a great investment of my 3 weeks, learning the basics. I can now understand the inspect page on the webpages. I am looking forward to learning more from SheCodes. I can now see the dream of being a developer becoming a reality.
It was very interesting to learn about the behind-the-scenes pieces of a website and how pieces of code interact with each other and the user.

Wow! What an awesome journey filled with obstacles that I was able to overcome. This was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Every day I fall more in love with coding because Matt has made the course understandable for beginners. I decided to take the SheCodes Basics course to get a first approach to coding. It was very easy to follow, with each step of the course clearly explained. I really enjoyed the process, and I look forward to keep learning.
After I finished SheCodes Basic I went immediately started with SheCodes Plus. The combination of short teaching videos, followed by challenges during which you immediately apply the learnt material makes this so satisfying. The learning curve is steep and I will definitely go back and go through the material again! Additionally, I now have the confidence to apply for jobs that require to communicate with technical teams - that is a huge leap forward from where I was just a few weeks ago! I thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes Basics Workshop! I had previously attempted to learn coding through other courses, but found myself overwhelmed by the extensive explanations and level of detail. I struggled to stay motivated due to the slow progress and constant feeling of being overwhelmed. Matt gets straight to the point, yet still provides precise explanations that help you understand what he is doing. The Slack chat was very helpful whenever I encountered challenges. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to purchase the course and eagerly anticipate my next workshop.
I am grateful to have been a part of the SheCodes Basics program, it sure took me a while to complete but I am happy to say that I have gained more confidence with regards to my HTML, CSS and JS coding skills now. I look forward to learning more on this platform for sure.

I had a great time learning but some days, my progress was hindered, as I was not able to learn and take challenges everyday due to my very stressful day job. It is very evident that with coding, you must practise daily to retain what you have learned and put it into action. If you don't use it, you lose it.
Matt's lectures are very brief, precise and easy to understand. I loved how there was a practice question at the end of each topic, which allowed me to test my understanding, remember what I had learnt and sharpen my skills with each lesson. Now I can confidently build a basic interactive website.
Having the chance to learn coding has revealed to me my capability to achieve anything I set my mind to. While there were challenging moments, the assistance and support from the SheCodes team empowered me to complete my foundational course and grasp concepts more effectively.
Loved learning how to make dark mode
Been out of loop for a while due to personal engagements, but I came back and to my lovely surprise, AI basic has been added to the module. It was very easy to ease back into the flow of things and now I have a rudimentary understanding of how AI works, it can only get better.

I'm in the process of changing careers, so I figured having basic coding skills would be useful. I came across a free SheCodes webinar, and it was so informative I decided to purchase their coding basics workshop, and boy am I glad I did! Matt did a fantastic job teaching all the basic aspects of coding in a fun, easily digestible way. He was so thorough with each and every lesson, and made it so easy to understand.
This course was designed to perfection. I have learnt how to make an application interactive and fetching APIs , which i find really cool working with live data. I am confident in the skills i have learnt,especially the fundamentals of Vanilla JavaScript. Takes a lot of practice,but the way the lessons and challenges are structured, you learn so much.
I enjoyed SheCodes plus, it was challenging but worth every challenge. I learned a lot and feel very confident in my coding. Ready for the next challenge.

I have just finished the 3 week Basic course and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's amazing how much you can learn in such a short period of time. I have got an idea how the basic coding languages work and will definitely continue learning.
One of the things I like the most about these coding workshops are simplicity and clarity. There are lessons, challenges and then solutions - so it is easy to learn and understand. I love SheCodes Basic because it covers every detail one needs to know without making it boring or time-consuming. Instead, there are bite-sized lessons. Challenges at the end of each lesson stretched out my curiosity and creativity. I also loved that I could go on at my own pace and apply for extensions as many times as needed; As a slow learner, that worked out for me perfectly. I also received heart-warming feedback and friendly reminders in my email. I never thought that I would be able to code at any day because I have tried to use so many sources to learn ow to code but I kept on failing. I saw SheCodes on TikTok and I was immediately interested because my dream to learn how to code never died. I took a leap of faith and applied and I was beyond thrilled when I got an acceptance email. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity and I am going to use it and reach my fullest potential as programmer. Thank you again Shecodes!
I like to learn new things. And the best thing now is that I understand the emails from the developer in our company :D I learned about SheCodes last year on instagram and had plan to start the courses when i finished my education which I did last year, so it nice that I have time for more and get to learn the amazing coding language.

Loved the layout, introducing coding in an easy to understand way and then building with each lesson. It can be challenging but the lessons are in depth, the website has so many help options, as well as the slack community. This basic course has given me more confidence in my day job, as well as allowed me to realise that working within coding is accessible to me.
This course helped me understand the basics of coding, and it was great learning how to integrate three program languages. I could also understand these basic concepts and apply them to other programs I used at university. It was great, and I'm more confident with my coding and troubleshooting by myself.

I wanted to get back to the basics since I completed the SheCodes Plus. This was a good refresher!
I used to think that coding was for the super intelligent people. This beginner course explained things clearly, with examples I could understand. We even built programs ourselves, not just listened to lectures! There was a helpful online community too, which kept me going. I came to SheCodes with no coding experience, but thanks to the clear explanations and fun projects, I can now build basic websites! The course was perfect for beginners, and I highly recommend it
This was such a fun and cool project! I found myself wanting to implement more CSS functions that we haven't learned yet and looking up how to do them on my own.
I always wanted to learn how AI worked, so I enjoyed working on this project. It gave me a better idea and understanding of AI and how developers can use it as a tool to make things more interesting.

Took my first SheCodes class, it was easy to follow and in bite sizes.
My entire coding journey has been with SheCodes, but over the last few months I have been considering learning Python to add to my set of skills. Thankfully Matt created the python bundle course so I did not have to think twice about where to study Python from. LOVED IT. Easy to follow which made me gain confidence in my coding and lose the 'fear' of learning and tackling backend.
