I really love the creative results when finishing with another SheCodes project where ideas become actual visible. Even with some errors to solve, which can be frustrating sometimes, glad that we have multiple AI tools these days and the internet to find answers.

Completing the SheCodes Python Basics course has been a really rewarding experience that helped me build a strong foundation in programming. Over the eight weeks, I learned how to work with variables, functions, loops, conditionals, lists, and user input, and I began exploring how Python can interact with real data through APIs. The highlight was creating an Interactive Weather App, which brought all the concepts together in a practical project. Seeing it come to life step by step really boosted my confidence and showed me how these skills can be used to build functional, meaningful applications.

Great and difficult project.

Before starting, coding felt intimidating, but this course made everything feel simple, practical, and actually enjoyable. The lessons were well-structured, easy to follow, and I loved how I could immediately apply what I learned through hands-on projects. In just a few weeks, I’ve learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I can now build my own simple web pages from scratch — something I never thought I’d be able to do so quickly! What stood out the most was the supportive community and how encouraging the whole experience was. It gave me the confidence to keep learning and growing in tech. If you’re thinking about starting coding but don’t know where to begin, this is definitely a great place to start. 🚀

I love how Matt explains every step from zero, not assuming you already know the concepts. The pace is great, you can adapt to it according to your availability and even if you already know the basics, the lessons are not boring at all, you only will finish faster than expected and then move on to the next one! I am loving it so far and yet have so much to learn, thank you!

Very challenging exercise but worth seeing the final results.

This was a really cool exercise. Easy to follow along but also having the freedom to try different things because Matt shared the resources needed during the lessons.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. It gave me a solid introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a way that felt clear, engaging, and fun. The videos were easy to follow and the schedule kept me motivated.

Completing the SheCodes Plus program has been an incredible journey for me. I started with basic knowledge, and now I’ve built a fully functional weather forecast app using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integration. I especially enjoyed learning how to work with APIs and making my projects interactive and dynamic. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited to continue growing as a developer. I really enjoyed this workshop – it was both fun and easy to navigate. The final project was a great exercise in problem-solving.

This course was a bit more challenging the the first one but I believe it it proof that we I am learning and I am confident with what was covered.

This add-on helped me understand the value of utility libraries and how to use them.

Integrating AI to the things we've learned before was way easier than I expected! This project was very fun :)

Took a while, since i was juggling school on the side but i loved the fact that it is self- paced, I enjoyed this workshop because it challenged me to have to remember everything that was taught in the first workshop and also try apply it in here

I couldn't be happier with the SheCodes Responsive course! 😁 The transition from my previous foundational courses was seamless, and diving deep into Bootstrap was a total game-changer for me. It’s incredible how much more efficient styling becomes when you have the right tools. I’m so proud of the projects I’ve built and I’m heading into my next course with so much excitement and momentum! Portugal (and the web) isn't ready for what's coming next!

I was intimidated in the beginning because I knew nothing about coding but as I got to do it , It became fun , challenging at times but also interesting . I can't wait to learn more.

Python Adv was quite challenging, but it is really rewarding to understand so many new things. After building a foundation in Python, this advanced workshop helped me go a step further by working more confidently with data, exploring object-oriented programming, and improving how I structure and document my code. It was especially interesting to create visualizations and work with different file formats in a more practical way.

This course was a great opportunity to put many skills that I've learned together.

SheCodes Basics Add-on as a great experience for me. It wasn’t just about learning — it actually pushed me to think and apply what I know. Some parts were challenging, but that’s what made it rewarding. I’m proud of how much I’ve improved and more excited to keep going in tech.

Coming back to complete this after more than two years of finishing SheCodes Basics was a bit of a challenge because I had to refresh my memory. However, with Matt, learning is super easy. His voice is calm and he makes you feel like learning even the most difficult of things is not beyond you. I had fun following the steps and building the web page featuring my favorite hobby. I started my coding journey last year through FNB Academy, where I built a strong foundation in the basics of web development. That experience sparked my interest in tech and gave me the confidence to keep learning. Joining SheCodes has taken my skills to the next level. The structured lessons, hands-on projects, and supportive learning environment have helped me deepen my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’ve become more confident in writing clean code, solving problems, and building interactive web pages. What I appreciate most is how practical and engaging the learning process is. Overall, SheCodes has been an incredible step forward in my coding journey, helping me grow from a beginner into a more confident and capable developer.

As a stay at home mother I wanted to build a skill I was passionate about that would also serve me as I transition back into the work force at some point. After the FREE coding class I was impressed with how much I quickly understood and went ahead with the next step into the workshops. I am learning at my own pace and loving every step. I love that my son looks over my shoulder every now and then and asks questions, because coding has now peaked his interest as well at only 6 years old! I look forward to learning more as I move into Python!

This was a surprisingly useful workshop that I learned so much about. Even highlighting concepts that I did not know or understand about my future after taking this course. I really enjoyed the information, and I know it has already made a huge difference in my LinkedIn and goals for my career.

Good for additional practice. Good to try and build it first based on what you learned before watching the tutorials.

I am learning so much. I'm gaining more confidence with each lesson, and I'm not stopping. If you are from the era of MySpace and were into customizing your backgrounds, try the free course, and if you get the good grabs of the concepts from the free course, try all of the Basics Classes AT LEAST. BUT if you really GET IT up to that point and love creating or trying new code, just get all the classes and keep going.

I absolutely loved this workshop! Matt explained everything so clearly, and each lesson introduced something new that I could immediately put into practice. It was so exciting to see my skills grow step by step, and by the end I felt proud and confident creating my own landing page for the final project.

A challenging course that pushed me beyond the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Easy to follow and provides me good structure. Weekly homework has been really useful.

The final project was very helpful in learning how to integrate AI APIs and APIs in general.

It was great to re-visit some previous work I'd done with SheCodes with up-to-date modules about AI. The videos were easy to follow and it was straightforward to quickly produce a professional-looking web app.

Through building multiple websites, I’ve been able to sharpen my skills while exploring opportunities in freelancing. I am so grateful for the SheCodes Foundation. Through the program, I was able to learn the basics of front-end development, something we interact with almost every day. Now I not only understand how these experiences are created, but I also have the skills to build my own.

awesome never get bored in learning

I could write HTML and CSS, but deploying a project felt like a wall I couldn't climb. Eight weeks of SheCodes changed that. I went from having code that only lived on my laptop to a fully functional weather app — live on the internet, pulling real API data, with a 5-day forecast. SheCodes taught me how to bring everything together: APIs, JavaScript, and actually getting your work out into the world. If you know the basics but keep stopping at 'how do I ship this?' — this is for you.

This Workshop has to be the favourite so far that I have done since starting the bootcamp course. I love the whole process

Nicely explained and instructions easy to follow.

I was devastated I couldn't study IT this year due to financial issues. However, when I was introduced to SheCodes by a relative, I was ecstatic! There was another method I could learn how to code. I want to thank Matt and the team for giving me the opportunity to learn. The videos were straightforward and easy to learn. Had little knowledge on coding from high school, but the educators did not teach me well as Matt.

Learning AI and practicing how to create an AI generator has been an incredibly eye-opening experience. At first, the concepts felt complex, but through hands-on practice, I started to understand how AI can transform ideas into real, functional tools. Building and experimenting with an AI generator helped me see how prompts, structure, and iteration can shape meaningful outputs. Shecodes is really great and i would highly reccommend it.

I liked the way in which the workshop was structured. The challenges after each topic helped reinforce my learning. The instructor was very clear in the way he explained each topic and his walkthroughs of the solutions helped.

Building my first AI-powered web app was one of the most exciting and rewarding moments. 😆 SheCodes didn’t just teach me technical skills; it boosted my confidence to tackle complex problems and think creatively. 🥰

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus Add on workshop and it was a great learning experience. In this workshop, I built a live world clock that displays the current date and time for different cities across multiple time zones. Using a select element, users can choose between different locations, and the time updates dynamically. One of the most exciting parts was learning how to work with Moment.js to display live dates and times. I also added extra features like showing the user’s current location and linking back to the homepage when viewing another city. Everything was explained in a clear and practical way, which made the concepts easy to understand and apply. I truly enjoyed building this project and seeing how powerful JavaScript can be when working with time and different locations around the world. I'm grateful for the learning experience with SheCodes and excited to keep building more projects as I continue my coding journey. 🚀

Learning how to integrate AI into a website was really interesting and opened up a lot of creative possibilities. Throughout the course, I explored how AI can be used to generate content dynamically and make web applications more interactive. For my project, I built a Character Name Generator that creates names based on a user’s description of a character. It was really fun to see how a few details could turn into unique and fitting names, and the project helped me better understand how AI can be used as part of a real web application.

I loved this course, the mix up between Python and AI was truly amazing. As we move into an era of AI, I truly enjoyed this course. Furthermore, it gave me some nice ideas for work, especially using Google Collab!
