A wonderful workshop! I say this every time, but I truly learn a lot! Seeing the instructor make mistakes and fix them in real time shows us that even professionals make mistakes, while showing us how to fix those problems that I'm sure we'll all experience!

React Add-on helped me understand API integration better. I loved seeing how much functionality the use of an API could help/add to your project. Watching everything respond well to each function call is pretty AMAZING!🤩

I enjoy learning responsive frameworks because they make it possible for apps and websites to work seamlessly on any device. With so many users on phones and tablets, responsive design feels essential to modern development. It gives every project flexibility, longevity, and a better overall user experience, which is why mastering it has become such an important part of the front‑end developer journey.

It is always good to learn something new. This did take me a while to complete but I am happy I was able to complete it.

Completing the SheCodes Plus AI workshop was such a good experience! I had so much fun learning how to integrate an AI API to create my Christian Poem Generator project. This course helped me build on the skills I learned in the Responsive course by teaching me more advanced web design techniques. I learned to create responsive grids, work with tables and iframes, and use background images to enhance the look and functionality of websites. The hands-on projects gave me more confidence in creating responsive, professional-looking web pages.

Another Project completed. Learning how to take a static design and turn it into a fully functional, data-driven web app using JavaScript and a live API was both challenging and rewarding. I'm proud of how clean, responsive, and smooth the user experience turned out.

This add-on was a lot of fun. Easy to follow instructions and rewarding to see it all come together at the end.

DEFINITELY by far the hardest module to complete. Nice way to use "save the [hardest] for last" here. Overall, the challenges were fun to build. Had some trouble with the initial setup of 'react' in the terminal along with the 'weather API' for the last 2 weeks of the build. With patience and carefully going through the lessons to comprehend which aspects of the SheCodes Weather API to integrate into the functions- it got better. Using 'console.log' helps a lot. After a minor meltdown, a few migraines and a total 'brain fry' moment, all is well.

This was an interesting add-on course that helped me improve and strengthen my basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. I particularly enjoyed using code in a creative way and applying what I had learned to build an engaging project.

Great program. I appreciate the bite size modules. I am eager to keep going!

I really enjoyed this course. As a junior developer, I found it easy to follow and very practical. I really enjoyed this workshop! The material was well-structured, thoroughly taught, and covered a lot of great concepts. While I personally would have loved to practice directly in VS Code to get used to industry-standard tools, I completely understand the convenience of the platform for assignments. Overall, I definitely recommend it!

My current SheCodes project, ChronoSphere, has helped me strengthen my JavaScript skills by working with time zones, date formats, and user interactions. Building a functional world clock has been a great experience and has motivated me to continue learning and creating more projects.

This world clock project was very interesting, at the same time challenging. There's always a new concept to add on to the the skills one has been building up right from the beginning.

What stood out most about SheCodes was how supportive and encouraging the whole experience felt. As a newcomer to coding,I never felt lost - the step-by-step lessons and practical exercises made complex concepts easy to grasp. I'm walking away with new skills and a lot more confidence in my ability to keep learning.

This addon course was the PERFECT addition to the Basic course! It was challenging enough to get your brain involved, but by the end, you have YOUR OWN webpage that you created. It is virtually instant gratification ❤️ I am so glad I am able to grow my knowledge with Matt and SheCodes!

I've been wanting to learn to code for years, but every entry point I found either felt too dumbed down or too intimidating. This was a great start and I feel like I learned a lot and have a solid foundation to keep growing.

The course has really helped me, I got to understand and learn valuable skills like building Landing pages etc

I recently got back into the workshops and coding in general after a three year hiatus. I was able to update my start date with the workshops and pick up where I left off! Coming back and re-watching the videos and redoing the homework gave me more confidence and helped me develop my own little workflow! I am having so much fun with the projects that I am already starting early on the Add-on and AI Workshop for SheCodes Plus. I am looking forward to building my portfolio and can't wait for what comes next. SheCodes is the best place for all beginners to learn!

I am so grateful for this opportunity. The SheCodes AI Basics workshop absolutely blew my mind! You can really see the difference between the first workshop, SheCodes Basics, and the AI course. Matt's tools and resources are such a joy to use. I had so much fun creating projects and putting everything I learned into practice. I am now on my way to reading all the SheCodes books available to us because I truly feel like I'm on the right path to becoming a developer. Another workshop done and dusted! What a fantastic experience this has been so far. Within a matter of a week, another skill was unlocked and I have an interactive landing page to show for it. It amazes me everytime how easy and uncomplicated Matt makes coding. He explains it in bite-size chunks and provides you with enough space and time to think about what you have learned and then put the new skill to practice. Highly recommend any of the coding courses.

The course covers responsive design that builds on HTML, CSS, Flexbox, and CSS Grid with certification projects learned from previous modules. After going through the modules, I took some time playing with fluid grids, flexible images, and media queries. I would have liked to see a module about elements to consider when approaching mobile screens. Questions that come to mind include the possibility of making a base CSS for small screens first, adding break points for larger screens, and touch targets to ensure buttons and links can be adequately sized for touch screens. I enjoyed the process of experimenting and learning more about responsive design while creating and structuring a portfolio page that works on both desktop and mobile devices.

Another excellent course. The AI project was fun to code and I learned a lot. Shout out to the SheCodes-Team, esp. Matt.

Coding has kept me excited and craving for more. It is fun to code; it has kept me glued to my laptop, to an extent where I can't tell what time it is. JavaScript was particularly interesting. Matt makes the lessons interesting ,fun, and easy; and guides you step by step, till you get the content. Can't wait to learn more.

Building the Vanilla Weather App has been the most informative, engaging, and creative part of the workshop so far. Although it was challenging at times, every moment of learning and problem-solving was worth the effort. I have grown tremendously in my coding skills and have genuinely enjoyed the journey. I really enjoyed the python advanced course.

Just a month ago i was still confused by functions now I have mastered debugging, and formatting dates. Phyton is my favourite language. Its easy to understand and to read but the indentation had a field day with me😂😅🤣!

This was a quick refresher of HTML, CSS & JS. Fun project!

Learning React has been one of the more challenging parts of my coding journey so far. Compared to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, React took me longer to understand, and I found myself needing to spend extra time working through concepts such as components, state, props, and handling API data. Although it didn't come as naturally to me as some of the previous languages I have learned, I gradually developed a solid understanding of how React works. As I continued building projects and troubleshooting errors, I became more confident in breaking down problems and understanding how different parts of an application work together. While I know there is still plenty to learn, completing React has given me a good foundation to build on. It has also reinforced the importance of persistence, patience, and problem solving when learning new technologies. Overall, the experience has been rewarding, and I feel more prepared to continue developing my React skills through future projects and real world experience.

I personally enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into web development. It was interesting to learn how AI works, and how prompts and contexts can make a difference in generating AI answers. I also got to learn that you can code CSS in Javascript. Super grateful to SHECODES for this opportunity.
