I found the Advanced Python course really helpful at consolidating my understanding of python and its usages. I particularly enjoyed the homework, where I created a line-graph using real life data. Would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in taking their knowledge in Python a step further!

The basics course has been really quite fun. In all my years in IT I've never coded. I have learnt quite a bit in the 6 weeks. Definitely would recommend the basics course for Python.

Starting this bootcamp was interesting because a lot of what Matt dives in to is great fundamentals in learning the beginner steps of becoming a web developer. You will learn the basics of creating a home page, with light styling, and light javascript. Can't wait to see what else this bootcamp offers me.

I feel so much better equipped for finding work in Web Development after completing this course! The final week and Matt's excellent advice on how to get a job in the industry has given me hope, determination and the motivation I need to pursuit job roles and create connections within the developer community. These past weeks I have been learning how to make a website Responsive on different devices. I had a wonderful time learning bootstrap and how to integrate CSS into my code using a new method.

I really enjoyed the lessons, and the trainer did an excellent job of explaining the topics in a clear and engaging way. I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars because, although the overall experience met my expectations, there’s still room for improvement in certain areas, like the challenges provided. Nonetheless, I would recommend it.

This was such an amazing, exciting and challenging journey. When I started coding I thought it was too complicated and difficult to understand. Matt (our instructor) made it very easy to understand difficult concepts. The SheCodes course is easy to follow through, the pace is manageable and Matt builds your confidence along the way and makes you feel capable to tackle the challenges on your own. I am so excited for the next modules and the future ahead. I know that I have been equipped with a great skill and I am confident in myself that I will excel in the tech industry. SheCodes is the best course for beginners and people who have no prior experience in coding. I absolutely recommend SheCodes and I wish that more women can learn how to code.

Basic-add-on workshop taught me so many new coding tricks and made coding even more interesting. I especially liked learning about CSS animation and grids. Now I know how creators designed their websites to look beautiful and sort of classic. This was by far the most enjoyable week. As I am writing this, I am already looking forward to the next week 😉.

One of the most rewarding aspects was learning how to utilize APIs effectively. By integrating the Moment.js and Moment Timezone libraries, I mastered the manipulation of dates and times across various time zones. This not only enriched my JavaScript skills but also helped me understand the complexities involved in handling date and time data. I also explored the Geolocation API, which taught me how to access and use the user's location in real-time. This feature was particularly exciting, as it added a personalized touch to the application, allowing users to see the current time in their own location. It deepened my understanding of how web applications can provide tailored experiences based on user data. Through this project, I honed my skills in creating dynamic user interfaces. I learned how to dynamically populate dropdown options, update city information in real-time, and effectively manage user interactions. I'm so excited that coding is no longer an unsolvable mystery that is exclusively for celestial beings. I find myself unable to view any webpage in the same way now and am tempted to inspect each page and to ponder how any interaction was coded when I click on links. I can't wait to begin working on my own webpage for an intervention that will irrevocably change the way we live.

From someone who had no clue about coding, let alone that I wasn't even interested until I came SheCodes on TikTok and I watched a video from Matt. How amazing is Matt and the entire team???!!! I love how everything (videos from Matt) gets broken down nicely and the team is always ready and available to help. With SheCodes Plus, I had a lot going on in my private life that I didn't get to commit to the deadlines. But I am grateful for the extensions that I was granted. Today I have completed my SheCodes Plus!! Can't wait for the next phase and learn more cool stuff. Even though sometimes I forget that I am learning. Thank you for making coding fun for someone who was not even interested.
Starting out my coding journey, I wasn't confident that I could do it. But as I worked through the exercises, everything started to make sense; it got simpler and understandable. Creating my first project and completing the program has definitely given me a confidence boost, in a sense that I am capable of a lot more than I thought and that I can do whatever I put my mind to.
SheCodes Plus really took my coding skills to the next level. It went far beyond the foundations covered in the Basics course, diving into advanced topics like API integration, hosting, workflows, and change management in GitHub. I was amazed at how much I learned—not just about JavaScript, but also about the tools and processes that engineers use every day. I highly recommend SheCodes Basics for complete beginners to experience the world of coding. Each video is short, easy to follow, and you will learn step by step. Even though I knew these were very basic, I still reveled in the fact that I could create something on my own.
