It was very interesting & enjoyable.

My React journey is sketchy. I was introduced to this programming language for the first time on this platform, and I'm glad I've been able to make some progress with it. I look forward to sharpening the skills further in my the next course.

The SheCodes Portfolio and Career Workshop provided clear guidance on how to present my work and meet industry expectations. The insights shared were practical and valuable for preparing to apply for roles.

I really enjoyed adding onto what I've been doing and also learning about the changing of themes and adding grid to my pictures.

This is refreshing and fulfilling. It is not easy, but I can accomplish the challenges. I am glad that I was able to design and create my first app.

Wow was this one a challenge! It forced me to think about different ways I wanted to show my images, and also various ways to play with images and changing themes. I feel way more confident now though with playing around and making mistakes and just seeing what happens when I refresh.

I really enjoyed this project; i had a lot of fun from actually building the website to designing it. It was splendid!!

I used to be curious about how websites work, but I never imagined that I would one day be able to create my own landing page. Coding used to feel intimidating to me, but SheCodes helped me see the world in a completely different way. Thank you, Matt, for this opportunity!

SheCodes Plus Add-on was a really rewarding step in my learning journey. It helped me deepen my understanding and connect everything I learned before into something more complete and practical. I especially enjoyed working on more advanced features and seeing how small details can really improve a project. The structure made it easy to stay on track while still giving me the flexibility to learn at my own pace. Whenever I got stuck, the Slack community was there to help, which made a big difference. Overall, I feel much more confident now and ready to take on more complex projects.

The bite size lessons and exercises are great.

This course was very fun! AI is becoming more and more relevant and Matt introduced it well. I enjoyed the course and can't wait to continue learning more with SheCodes!

I really enjoyed building the Weather app and learning how to perform interactive functions using Python!

The React Add-on was an excellent extension of the core React.js foundations. Working on a live project strengthened my practical skills and gave me the confidence to build real applications independently.

A challenging but fun workshop.

A one week workshop but with so much to learn which I enjoyed doing a lot. It was so challenging but funny, as usual instructor will always find a way to make everything look simple to we can understand

This responsive class was so much fun to code and really makes me feel more confident in my coding abilities. I 100% recommend SheCodes to any woman who wants to learn front-end coding. I cannot wait to learn more with the following classes😊

Another great workshop for learning code. I enjoyed the project of creating my own AI travel planner.

It was really easy to learn, and having weekly homework made it easier to build my knowledge

I was nervous about learning Python because I thought it would be complex, but the Python Basics course was clear, approachable, and easy to follow. I now feel confident moving on to Python Advanced, thanks to the high-quality learning materials at SheCodes.

I learnt a lot from this course, and it introduced many new concepts in a clear and engaging way.

I really loved this module. It was definitely challenging at times, but the step-by-step guidance made it much easier to follow and stay motivated. I appreciated how everything was explained in a structured way, almost like being guided by hand through the process. By the end, I have a much better understanding of components, state, and APIs, and I feel excited to keep learning and building more with React.

It was a fun addition to the React course, where I learned valuable new skills and could deepen my understanding of React coding.

This Advanced Python course is amazing! Complex topics are explained step-by-step, and once they're in your mind, they stick. The AddOn Workshop really helped to solidify what I've been learning. I was surprised how much longer it took me than I initially thought it would take. I really wanted to grasp and practice all of the concepts, which is why I didn't rush through it. Matt does a remarkable job explaining each point, which I really appreciate!

A fun little project with a lot of lessons. This course taught us how to use CSS filters extensively from scratch. Definitely a valuable skill to have. Matt is an excellent instructor. Always a pleasure. Off to the next adventure....

The content was clear and helpful for practical understanding.

This was the final project and definitely one of the most challenging ones, mainly because there was a lot of trial and error (a lot of error mainly). I like the results and seeing how far I've come in understanding React.

Python is a very difficult language to master, but this course opened up my options for data analytics and structures.

The SheCodes React Dictionary project has been such a satisfying project to build. Everything from the React course came together in one place: components, state, API integration, responsive design, and real UX thinking. I loved going beyond the brief: I designed the empty state from scratch with a custom animated SVG illustration, and added small details like synonym chips. React keeps inspiring me to build more. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another course that pushes me further than I thought I could go. 💜

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive Workshop! The lessons were clear and practical, and I loved building projects that work smoothly on all screen sizes. It boosted my confidence in responsive design, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone learning front-end development.

This was a very informative few weeks, I got hands on with API and got to work on some more complex JavaScript techniques.

Had lots of fun creating this and seeing how I can manipulate elements around the page. This week was great because it reinforced modules from last week while still keeping it engaging and allowing us to get creative

Taking this Plus course has been an amazing experience. I got practical skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and learned how to organize my code clearly. Working on my final project not only showed what I can do but also my determination and love for creating interactive websites. I’m excited to use what I’ve learned and keep growing as a developer.

Best course but a bit challenging

I thoroughly enjoyed the course from beginning to end. It was my first time working with React, and I found it to be an incredible tool. During the project, I developed a complete website where I integrated several functionalities: definition searches, synonyms, antonyms, phonetic transcription, and illustrative images for each word. I really enjoyed the challenge of connecting APIs, managing state, and designing an intuitive interface. I'm leaving the course eager to continue creating more projects.

Really enjoyed the course! It was a bit more challenging, however this helped me to push myself and try my best to understand. Learning about APIs was my favourite part of the course. I can't wait to continue with the other courses.

Doing the SheCodes bootcamp has truly opened my eyes to a whole new world. This was a vey difficult course to complete !

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. Before this, I struggled a lot with front-end development, especially CSS. It often felt confusing and hard to bring designs to life. This course helped me understand things more clearly and made front-end development feel more approachable. I’m not perfect yet, but I feel much more confident in my ability to build and style projects on my own. I also appreciated the hands-on projects, which made it easier to apply what I was learning. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their front-end skills.

Started off unsure how to use AI in my projects, but now I am confident and learned a lot.

It has been a challenging journey for me but the short structured lessons were of great help. I appreciate the self -paced lessons and the youtube videos attatched. They were of much help especially when it came to use of Git hub. I was supposed to have submitted my week 8 project in Jan 12 2026. Am happy I didn't quit and I have completed it in April. I say thank you to the she codes team and more importantly to Matt.

Creating a Weather application from start to finish has been a big learning journey and exceedingly rewarding. Learning how to use JavaScript in such a way and how API works is such a game-changer. Great Course 10/10!!!!

Learning React has been a really interesting experience for me. I truly enjoyed the process, even though it wasn’t as easy as what I had learned before. At times it felt challenging, especially getting used to new concepts and the way everything connects, but that also made it more rewarding. Overall, it has been a valuable learning experience, and I definitely want to continue improving my React skills and exploring more advanced topics.

Creating the weather application from scratch was definitely fun but it can be tricky if you aren't paying close attention to detail with javascript. Overall, learning the more advanced steps to integrate the forecast through JavaScript instead of going through HTML was pretty cool to learn.

I really enjoyed this workshop.

I came to SheCodes with the knowledge I had learned from playing around with MySpace and Tumblr templates and got to understand the fundamentals of all three languages and more than anything an appreciation for my favorite websites. I appreciated how each lesson was built on the previous one and that helped me to retain the information in a consistent format.

I liked how the lessons all built upon one another. I found myself opening multiple browsers so I could look back at the lessons. My confidence built through the course.

Great workshop! Useful information and broken down in manageble way.

I really enjoyed the Shecodes course, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to start learning Front-End development. The courses in each week are well explained and not too long. There are assignments after each course which are absolutely helpful for learning and practicing. The homework at the end of each week is quite helpful and contains everything that was explained during the week. By doing it you'll make sure that you are able to build what you've learned.

The SheCodes Basic course provided me the fundamentals to start my coding journey. The workshops were easy to follow and the projects were practical. Excited to keep going on my coding journey and continue developing my skills!

I can’t recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought I’d actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project I’m genuinely proud of. Best investment I’ve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Matt’s explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.

This was so fun and I learned so much! Everything was so much easier and way less intimidating than I thought it would be. I can't wait to try more workshops and maybe even a bootcamp!
