I had a lot of fun building this Dictionary App in the React Add-On Workshop. I like how Matt goes through the basics of the app building process, while giving clues to add further functionality if the student so desires. I signed up to SheCodes to give my adhoc coding skills some foundation and be better prepared to work with the Engineers in my Localization career. Already after the Basics workshop I can see a huge improvement in my skills and how I can better work with my colleagues on the technical side to improve all building blocks and all the different setups we work with on a daily basis.

I never knew how fun coding could be. Both my creative and technical brains have been stretched to new heights. Matt is a wonderful teacher too. Excellent Challenge. I enjoy using react and working with components. useState is very powerful and useful. This challenge also deepened my understanding of loops.
Through this course I lent so much about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Now I can build my own website and cannot wait to do more projects and expand my knowledge.

Interesting course. I feel I have a pretty good grasp on AI and how it works. I only wish I had left myself more time to wrap up week 2. I would have submitted something other than a poem generator, but didn't want to extend the course. It was a valuable experience nonetheless.
I really enjoyed SheCodes Basic! 😃 I toke all the classes and dedicated three weeks to go through them, as suggested. I felt I had enough time to digest the material and apply the principles learned on all the homework as well. SheCodes Basics is a great course, very methodical and easy to understand.
A great introduction to the fundamentals of coding.
Honestly, the She Codes Plus workshop does get tricky, but if you give yourself enough time to practice over and over, You eventually master it, Matt's clips are so digestible and allow you to watch them on a lower speed. It's also important that when you seek a solution, google it first before you ask on Slack. I have learned so much.
