I enjoyed this workshop and learning how to integrate APIs with Python in Google Colab. It was a great review of connecting an AI API into a project. One challenge I ran into was the APIβs limit on output length. When I tried to create a more detailed and fun itinerary, the results would get cut off for trips longer than about 3 days. After troubleshooting, I simplified the format to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, it was a fun project and a great refresher on working with AI and APIs.
Through SheCodes, I have learned a lot about hosting and using moment.js in a project. Building this World Clock helped me understand how to work with time zones, external libraries, and bringing it all together in a real, live project.

This is such a great starter course to get a feel on what coding is and to practice what you are actually learning. Matt's teaching is so helpful by sharing examples and walking through each part step by step. I'm blown away with how easy it was to begin on day 1 with free tools and to see small results throughout the entire 3 weeks. Can't wait to continue on this coding journey!

This workshop was lots of fun. I've come out with a real appreciation for the utility of open API's! As rightly mentioned repeatedly throughout the course, there's certainly a learning curve for every API. Additionally, some are objectively much better and more user friendly than others! However, once you've deciphered them, the possibilities are endless. I'm also a converted mega fan of React, as I think the developers have done a fantastic job of interpolating JavaScript into HTML in such a way that is a lot more intuitive and user friendly! I've come away from this course with a really cool set of new skills and I can't wait to test them out and improve!
Iβm really happy to have finished the SheCodes Plus program! It was such a fun and rewarding experience where I got to improve my JavaScript skills, work with APIs, and build my own weather app. I loved how hands-on everything was, and it really helped me feel more confident writing code and solving problems on my own. I really enjoyed this introduction to coding although I felt like the first week took me a lot longer than the time advised.
I recently completed the SheCodes Basic course, and it was such a rewarding experience. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, with guided activities that kept me engaged and motivated throughout. I especially appreciated how the course encouraged me to push through challenges and build confidence step by step. Iβm really proud to have reached the end of the course and to have developed valuable new skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being able to create my own first webpage from scratch felt like a huge achievement. I enjoyed the workshop, it is very well structrured in a way that you learn bit by bit without feeling overloaded. I was an absolut begginer and I don't even identify with the tech world and still managed.However, I was expecting more follow up to our homeworks and projects, like critics or sugestions, not just "do it", "submit it" and get a "well done, it's approved". It is very unpersonal in my prespective.
My AI course experience was truly amazing and life-changing. At first, I was nervous because I thought AI would be difficult to understand, but the course made everything simple, practical, and exciting. Greetings everybody, initially when I joined the SheCodes workshop I was struggling with almost everything, during the workshop classes I've managed to learn to build landing pages, with skills gained during the classes, place me on cloud nine. I completed the SheCodes Python Basics course and really enjoyed it. The lessons were easy to follow, and the exercises helped me practice coding. It gave me a good foundation to continue learning Python.
I enjoyed this workshop as I got to learn how to code and create fun pages by myself. The homeworks got me thinking a lot, trying to make my code work and figuring out things. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as I got to learn a lot.

The workshop is fun, you can make it as interactive as you want. The steps were sometimes a little challenging. But it is definitely worth the try and all of the effort!

SheCodes Plus AI was an exciting step forward in my coding journey. It made complex concepts like APIs and AI feel approachable and practical. This was admittedly a challenging workshop, but extremely worth it! I'm really pleased with my final project. As with all the previous workshops, the guidance and support from the team was excellent. Matt does a really great job of breaking things down in order to explain the "plumbing" of how a react app works and describing what the code is doing at certain stages, (such as in the case of how the props are passing through to the other components and how the useStates help to set and define the data for further functions to operate). It made it really accessible and digestible to someone who still feels relatively new to coding!
What a treat to build another beautiful website! I am enjoying it more and more with each time I do it.

I took the SheCodes Python course as someone coming from a frontend background, and it was exactly what I needed to get started. The content is well-structured and genuinely informative without being overwhelming. What I appreciated most is the practical approach. Everything is applied directly, so you're writing real code from the start rather than just reading theory. That said, be prepared to put in the work outside the course as well. The material gives you a solid foundation, but getting confident with Python takes consistent practice on your own. If you're willing to do that, this course is a great starting point.
I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on course and learning how to add intereting features to the page using CSS. I'm excited to take this knowledge and apply it to my work.

This workshop was a wonderful opportunity for me to learn how to use APIs and work with an AI API. Throughout the project, I learned debugging, handling real API responses, and improving user experience with dynamic updates and animations.
Was really hard, had to get a lot of help from AI but in the end it worked out fine. Must admit Javascript ist not my favourite ;)
