I am learning to be disciplined with my studies
Learning Basic coding has been one of the most empowering skills I've gained. At first, programming seemed complex and intimidating, but starting with the fundamentals made it much easier to understand. As I practised writing simple programs and solving small problems, my confidence grew.
It is a very interesting learning experience that I'm enjoying and gaining knowledge in the field, and you can do the most with the different types of skills provided.
The SheCodes was such a blessing in my life. I have learnt a lot about coding and I am truly grateful for it

Learning responsive design has been an exciting part of my journey into a new career in tech. Learning about grids, rows, and columns is a challenge, but well worth it! The lessons are structured in a way that allow me to play around with divs and sections extensively. I am happy to complete this lesson, more confident in how to structure grid boxes and sections without using Bootstrap.
This class was extremely well put together and I would highly recommend it my family and friends. I learned a lot and look forward to the next class.

I enjoyed the SheCodes React workshop. It was challenging at times, but it helped understand how React works and how to build interactive web applications using components and APIs. It definitely improved my confidence in JavaScript and React.

This add-on workshop was a great experience and helped me improve my front-end skills beyond the basics. I learned how to use more advanced CSS techniques such as CSS Grid for layout, hover animations, transitions, and transform effects to create more interactive and visually engaging webpages. I'm also really glad that I didnβt skip this workshop, because it helped me understand how small design details and animations can make a webpage feel much more dynamic and polished. SheCodes Plus was a really solid step forward in my coding journey. Before starting, I had basic knowledge, but this course helped me finally understand how everything connects β especially JavaScript, APIs, and real project structure. What I appreciated most is the clarity of the lessons and how practical they are. You donβt just watch videos β you actually build things step by step. The weather app project was especially helpful because it made concepts like APIs, functions, and real-time data feel much more intuitive.
Having been a literature and arts person my whole life, I never pictured myself coding. I'm so glad I took a chance on learning something outside my comfort zone, because it has been so rewarding! I absolutely loved diving deeper into Python and building a final project that could showcase all the things I learned about working with data. Python was much more challenging for me to learn than HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there were times I got really frustrated. However, this meant that every time some new information or concept really *clicked* and I could successfully implement it in my code, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. Now, I love when I'll be talking with someone or watching something that includes data and realise how I could interact with that data in Python. It's not something I ever thought I could do, and feel really proud that I've stuck with it. Learning Python has become a new tool I use to create things I never thought I could create before, like interactive games and graphs to chart my reading habits. I'm really sad the class has come to an end, but I look forward to building on the skills I learned to create my own projects!

It's been so challenging but worth doing. The more you upgrade or get deeper into coding it becomes more challenging but doable when you give yourself time and be patient. I am so happy to be doing this, it is life changing.

I most definitely recommend this course. It was really exciting and challenging at the same time. Every time I was able to complete a homework assignment, I would see just how much this course has taught me. And being able to complete the final project was such an amazing experience with a wonderful sense of achievement.
I have had so much fun putting in the work and learning this information. I'm only upset that I didn't start it sooner. This project was my SheCodes Week 4 responsive portfolio, and Iβm really proud of how it turned out. I focused on creating a clean, modern design that showcases my frontend skills while being fully responsive across devices. I built interactive project cards, a hero section, and a custom footer with SVG social links, ensuring consistency in color, spacing, and typography. I also optimized images, added semantic HTML, and included SEO best practices like meta descriptions and Open Graph tags. Overall, this project allowed me to combine design and development skills into a professional, user-friendly portfolio that I can continue to build on!
It is always a blast and a privilege to learn more about tech and it's constantly evolving world. It was really interesting to learn how to use an API to create something so fun and personalised.

This has quite possibly been the most rewarding of all the SheCodes workshops so far! Matt does a really fabulous job of guiding you step by step through the process of building your own fully responsive and professional looking portfolio page. I also really appreciate how honest the video tutorials are in that Matt doesn't edit out any of the "oops, something's not working in my page/ my code has crashed" moments, not hiding the reality of how common place it is for all Developers of all experience levels to inevitably encounter problems that require a little problem solving. The support team were also really helpful when I ran into a bit of a hitch, getting back to me really quickly! The SheCodes team really do offer an excellent service!

This has to be one of my favourites module in the course of my learning. It was such an insightful module and I'm glad to have been a part of this.
This course helped make advanced React approachable! I went from basic concepts to building a live Dictionary App from scratch. The clear, step-by-step guidance on API integration helped me turn theory into a professional project Iβm genuinely proud to show off.
It was really nice to do a different type of project again in this bootcamp, and integrating multiple APIs. React is a really interesting library and left me feeling motivated to build more, and after the React and React Add-on workshops, I feel comfortable enough to utilize it in more of my portfolio projects.
I have completed my second certificate with SheCodes, and it has been a wonderful journey. I'd been postponing finishing the add-on programme, and after two weeks, I completed it, which was a much better experience. I have learned a lot. I have expanded my knowledge beyond what I had previously acquired.
Highly recommended, it guides you every step of the way and in the end you really do understand what you're doing.

I'm really looking forward to the next step. I never thought I'd end up programming. As a radiologist, it was never my field, but the rapid changes in medicine offered me the opportunity to develop my skills.ππ

Over the past five weeks, my journey learning Responsive Web Development has been both challenging and exciting. During this time, I gained practical skills in building web pages that adapt smoothly to different screen sizes using modern frontend techniques such as flexible layouts and media queries. This experience helped me better understand how real-world websites are developed to function effectively on phones, tablets, and desktops. The process strengthened my confidence in writing cleaner, more adaptable code and has motivated me to continue improving my skills in web development as I build more responsive and user-friendly websites.
SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and actually fun to learn. I loved how the lessons were broken down into small, practical steps that helped me build real projects and see my progress quickly. As someone coming from a different academic background, it gave me the confidence to explore tech and realize that coding is something I can truly learn and enjoy.
A fun learning project, it took a lot of time with a lot of trail and errors. Sometimes got frustrated because I lost track of what I was coding but then the debugging starts and a lot of research online to find solutions, but I made it with the results I had in Mind.

I enjoyed learning how to integrate another aspect into HTML, CSS & JavaScript. As well as learning how to add a "loading" circle whilst the item was being generated.
I had fun with this project, I'm already thinking about all the potential applications :)
