SheCodes is a great platform to start learning how to code from scratch. The explanation is great, and the challenges are great to manifest what you just learned. I also love that you can get extensions (as a Mother, this was a lifesaver).
I am really glad that I decided to take this course. I have been curious about coding for a long time and, as a PM on maternity leave, I was nervous about learning something new at the moment. Matt is a great teacher and the team does a fantastic job supporting you. I learned more than I expected and I was impressed to be able to build my first "landing page" after only 3 weeks. I loved the fact that the course`s structure pushes you to be creative and to try to find solutions yourself from day 1. After this introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript I am definitely motivated to challenge myself in the future with more advanced classes!

SheCodes is a great opportunity to dive into the world of coding and take the first steps. The programme was comprehensive, easy to follow and diverse in topics. After a few hours I could already see improvements and really enjoyed the challenges. Matt is very good at explaining, and the exercises were completely doable. I would always recommend the course further, as it is amazing!

I started this course without any IT -background, my knowledge was really basic, but I enjoyed every minute of this Workshop, it was easy to understand and I think it is a great first step into the world of coding. Great project as usual! I learned a lot of new things, like how to use CSS filters and it was brilliant learning how to costumise grids without Bootstrap
I really enjoyed the add-on, especially learning about the magic of Moment.js. The instructions were spot on as usual and I really liked building a world clock. Great project and really proud of how far I have come.
Quick way to get a basic knowledge in html, css and javascript; The workload is absolutely fine while working full-time, however you need to block some time for the challenges and homework. Sometimes it took me a bit longer than expected but it's absolutely manageable. Matt's videos are great, easy to follow and actually quite entertaining, I also really liked that the videos aren't too long so you can stay focused and take some breaks in between.

I am really happy I took this course. For some reason, I always thought I wouldn't get coding, but as it turns out,it's a lot of fun and much more creative than I thought.
I signed up for SheCodes Next quite spontaneously, because I had just started applying for jobs. Again, SheCodes didn't disappoint. This is my 5th workshop and this one was super useful too. I really liked the style of the videos and all the little tips we got, like having your links to your Portfolio/Github/Linkedin in your email signature or how to most efficiently use Linkedin. I definitely feel more confident nowπ
I was surprised how much I remembered from the Basics Workshop I did last year! It was nice to know that I could always continue with SheCodes workshops at different points in my career and still learn something new and exciting :)
Yet again another coding journey has successfully finished, full of interesting challenges, helpful lessons and tips from the team, if (or when π) you get stuck. I have really enjoyed taking this course and making another fully responsive web page.

Can't believe that I finished this workshop! Definitely harder than the Basic WS but I learned so much in the past 2 months! And I really like the final project - the weather app! Great experience, when I got stucked I got quick answers on Slack so I never really felt stucked for long. I'm excited to start the next workshop!

Taking the first course at SheCodes was very interesting! I got acquainted with the concepts of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and learned how websites are created. This is completely new information for me! Sometimes I needed more time to understand new materials. I hope that this is only the beginning of the gateway to the world of Front-End!

Very accessible for people with no prior knowledge. Supportive environment. Structure allows to progress fast and see the improvements in your work from the very start.
I always thought that coding is not for me and that it was totally black magic. After being frustrated with not finding the right job, I jokingly said to myself 'Maybe it's time to learn how to code... cause this at least seems to be in demand these days.' I followed this thought, signed up and definitely don't regret it! I really enjoyed the course, and at the very end creating the final project was pure fun! :) I liked the structure of the workshops - the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tasks were challenging sometimes but not too difficult. 10/10! :)

I was really excited to start this workshop, I didn't wait till the next Monday, I enrolled on Friday and got through pretty quick. It was really important for me to stay motivated and get things done (as I'm working full-time) - the weekly deadlines definetely helped me with it. I had some experience with HTML, but definetely not enough. I feel like I learned enough to know that I want to continue learning more - coding can be fun :)

Just finished the basic coding course. Loved the way it was introduced and explained. Recommended. As a result, you'll get your first pet project, some knowledge in basic markup and JS front that helps you to understand if you need to go deeper or look in a different direction.
I finally got to revive my curiousity for website creating, which I by mistake left behind in 2009. I've discovered that it is as exciting as I remember it. SheCodes is a really good resource with a simple but useful interface. It really is what you make of it. The more time you spend on it, the more you can discover and create.
Had a lot of fun with the course and learned a lot - as a single working mum the flexibility was also great for me.
It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience. Although it seemed quite challenging at first for a beginner, but definitely was worth all time and efforts. I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to any woman who is interested in taking her first steps in coding. Matt's instruction videos are easy to follow and I liked the hands-on approach. Another plus is the amazing support team that offers quick solutions in case you get stuck with any homework or challenge. Overall, I am pretty amazed at how much I was able to learn in such a short amount of time.

I haven't coded anything in the last 20 years. I had almost mostly forgotten what I learnt in the past and this was a nice beginning for me. The workshop had me so invested, I loved it and I enjoyed it deeply. I can't wait to take part in the advance workshops.

It was a very comprehensive introductory course for beginners. Those who learn a little on their own can put what they have learnt into practice more accurately, and can easily learn what they could not understand on their own before.
