I started SheCodes Basic with no coding skills whatsoever. In just three weeks I learned enough to build a functional (and nice looking) landing page, which I find absolutely amazing! The course is well paced and neither too difficult or too easy. Matt teaches you foundations of coding that you can easily expand after completing the course!
I really enjoyed this course - I'd say it's perfect for everyone who's new to coding! It is well structured into short lessons and little challenges. The supporting community on Slack made the entire experience really interactive. I'm super motivated to improve my coding skills and learn more!

I had so much fun practicing coding with SheCodes. The lessons are quite short (still I learned so much!) and therefore very well manageable at home with two young kids. I was not sure if coding was the way to go for me, (I definitely need to make a wise career choice at this point in my life.) but the Basic Course was a great and affordable way to get to try it for a good while. I AM HOOKED! And so proud of my first little page, that I made!

SheCodes Plus workshop deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I must admit the Javascript part was quite challenging while learning about APIs, but once you understand it and see how powerful it is, you get excited and want to learn more. I started my first coding course with SheCodes as a challenge for myself. And since the first video my interest grew and grew. The courses are so well structured and Matt is an incredible teacher, able to break down complex issues to a beginners level, so it is actually easy to follow and understand. The challenges at the end of each video are a perfect way to practice and proof your skills! And very motivating as well, since you see the result of your effort! :) I can highly recommend SheCodes for every woman!
I really enjoyed the course and I think I learned a lot of new things to get a head start into working as a front-end developer. It gives a good overview of basic functions of HTML, CSS and Java Script and I loved that the videos were short, so if you don't have a lot of time, you can do the lessons in little snipets. Perfect for people that try to do the course next to working or being a parent.
The basic course gave me a first (basic ;)) understanding how websites are build, how css and html have to be read. The tutorials were pretty easy to understand and even if I do not use the slack group that often, I love the idea to use this for communicating with other female coders and the SheCodes team. I realized that I really like coding and it makes the whole coding world less nerdy to me ;) I have a great respect for the programming world.
