It's a great start to get some understanding of (front-end) coding!

The lessons were packed in very digestable bites, I could definetly see a steep learning curve and was pretty motivated by small successes. I had tought myself some of this knowledge already from online sources but it was good for me to have it explained properly and in it's entirety again. All in all it was really fun to do.

SheCodes has helped me to step into a whole new world. I never thought I will be able to code or to understand coding but Matthieu and his team made that possible by providing me with the right information and support. I had lots of fun during the workshop, but it was also challenging. I am truly grateful I get to be a part of SheCodes and discover the world of coding. A big thank you to the team!!! With your help, I became very determinate to pursue a career in Tech.

I came across a SheCodes ad during the first COVID-19 lockdown in Austria. I remember thinking at the time: "hey, why not?". One year later, I finally registered to the Basic SheCodes Workshop and I did not regret it. I thought the workshop was fun, highly interesting, challenging enough and well balanced. It gave me lots to think about regarding my next professional steps. Thank you again to the entire SheCodes team!

This was my 4th SheCodes Workshop and I loved it just as much as the other three. I learned heaps of new things and figuring out how to make webpages responsive has definitely been a game-changer for me - can't wait to work on other projects too! As usual, the Slack community has been very helpful and it was great being able to get an extension when I got into some time constraints due to parenting life. SheCodes Basic provides an easy and fun access to coding, I liked the challenges because they really helped me learning and it is a nice feeling when you can make things work. A big plus is the flexibility, that SheCodes provides, so you can learn and practise any time you want.

The SheCodes Basic workshop was a great introduction into the world of coding for anyone who has no prior knowledge. I liked that the course could be completed at your own pace and that the lessons were split up into small portions each with a hands-on exercise to revise the learned contents. My experience doing the SheCodes basic course was very good and surpassed my expectations. My learning experience was so satisfactory because of the so well thought platform, that is by far the best online course I ever did. I'd already had some HTML and CSS knowledge and never felt ready to jump into learning more about them. But thank God I made up my mind and chose SheCodes! Matt is an awesome teacher, he takes time explaining - also it's a huge plus that I can go and learn at my own pace! I've had so much fun building the final project and really lost track of time researching for applicable codes and finetuning my project - I 100% recommend taking the course!

I learned programming many years ago, only I was never very motivated to learn as a teenager. So I actually forgot everything. Through my job in product marketing in a tech company, I realized that it would be fun to go in that direction again, and with SheCodes I can do that now. I find it great to meet like-minded women and exchange ideas with them. The presentation of the videos and the possibility to ask questions in the chat is great.

I really enjoyed discovering coding with SheCodes! The videos made it easy to follow and the challenges were very fun and motivating. Small learning portions are perfect for chosing your own pace!

Years ago I tried to learn CSS and HTML by myself. Well, after a lot of sweat I did it. But when I approached Javascript I felt overwhelmed and without support. Some weeks ago my boss asked me to work on our company's website and I was like: "Oh, well..." And I bumped into SheCodes. I thought: "It's now or never." And I bought the whole package, thanks to my discount as university student (I am doing a second BA). The biggest part of this course is the community. I love to ask, to receive answers after some minutes and to be able to help others. Through this course I was able to develop also my company's website. And this is JUST the beginning :)

SheCodes Plus is a real game changer course. The step-by-step methodology is just amazing and bring us almost from scratch to real life developers. I could not more than absolutely recommend this course to everyone who wants to know more about the world of coding.

The minute I started SheCodes Basics I was hooked. Writing code from the very beginning and figuring out how everything works has been so much fun. I finished the Basics class in January, then started SheCodes Plus in late March. The format worked really well for me, because I am currently a SAHM, so it was great being able to work around nap-times and in the evenings. Still, the weekly deadlines were also really useful to keep on track, which I think made SheCodes stand out for me. I also greatly appreciate that I was offered a discount, given I am currently not working. Creating this weather app from scratch was challenging at times, but Matt is a great teacher and I really value how much effort went into creating and planning this course. The video tutorials were always spot-on and I also loved learning about workflow and how to best organise your project. Building "Weather with Cheddar" gave me a lot of confidence, when I look back at the wireframe and now at the finished project, I can really see how far I have come. I know there is still heaps to learn and so many more problems to solve, but SheCodes Plus certainly gave me a solid foundation in understanding basic and some more advanced concepts in JavaScript. Thanks to everyone in the team for making this an overwhelmingly positive experience and also thanks to everyone in the Slack-community! I can't wait to start SheCodes React!

I am passionately studying different foreign languages and it's been a great idea and experience to take a look into coding languages as well! I feel more informed about how languages work in general 😊 and can't wait to go straight forward into the tech field as a coding woman!

I was thinking of learning to code way before I found SheCodes. However, I never followed through as it seemed unattainable for me as a person without any concept of what coding actually was in the first place. As insurmountable a problem it appeared to be, when Matt compared code to language it made much more sense to me. I am happy to have learned its basics and hope to deepen my coding skills in the near future and apply them professionally.

What another success! SheCodes makes me wake up every day with a smile on my face & I can't believe how far I've come. Tackling the coding challenges and homework assignments weren't easy, but every struggle only made me stronger and more confident. I know that in the end, it'll all be worth it. Thank you, Matt, João, and the entire team for simplifying difficult concepts and making me fall in love with coding each and every day. It was a real challenge this time. JavaScript is totally challenging, you always have to try a lot of times to get stuff right. I struggled a lot during this course! However, knowing that you can ask questions 24/7 to the tech support is just A+.
