Even though the course was only three weeks long, I learnt a lot about Javascript, CSS and HTML. I started with no knowledge at all and I thought I would struggle quite a bit but in the end I gathered a good understanding of programming and I feel comfortable with the topics we studied. I can't wait to continue with SheCodes Plus. 👏

So far I had a really good time following the videos and surprisingly, I was really into solving the challenges. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who is starting from 0, like me!

I'm very happy to have come across SheCodes - I've enjoyed the workshop greatly. I liked that the content is split into small parts (the how-do-you-eat-an-elephant approach) combined with lots of small tasks that eventually build up into the bigger picture. I think the workshop provides enough content and gradually increasing challenge, without pushing it into detail overload after which it's easy to lose interest. It's a good place to start if you want to figure out if coding is something you might be interested in doing. I'm looking forward to the next step!

I never thought I would ever take a coding course, but I am extremely glad that I did, especially one from SheCodes. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by the idea of learning how to code. However, Matt’s unique way of teaching this male-dominated field took that feeling away immediately. His course is well-organised and the topics are explained thoroughly. I was able to absorb the basics of coding (HTML/CSS and JavaScript) in such a short period of time, and the workshop also paved a new path for me. I cannot wait to upskill myself with his more advanced classes!

I first came across SheCodes on GGI, a facebook group for women living abroad. I had always had coding in the back of my mind, ever since we learned some basic HTML during my master's degree in English Language Teaching. I love materials design and as Computer Assisted Language Learning is becoming more and more common, I loved the idea of being able to create my own webpages. I am a SAHM at the moment, so I like the format of the SheCodes workshops, since I could access the content whenever I had some peace and quiet - super useful if you have a little toddler running around. I loved every minute of it and also enjoyed all the challenges and being able to choose something unique for our final project. I will continue learning and looking forward to diving deeper into the world of Java Script.

I really enjoyed the coding workshop. I was very excited about the weekly homework challenges where I was coding on my own and creating from scratch. I’m happy I took this course because now I can use this knowledge at my UX Design job.

I had always been interested to look into coding. Yet, as a female you rarely see the opportunities a career in IT holds. I am very happy to have signed up for the 3-weeks SheCodes Workshop as I now have a basic understanding on web development. Matt explains everything in a very practical way, which is great! I did not expect to build my very own (interactive) landing page as final project - I am more than satisfied and highly recommend SheCodes to others!

The Workshop "Introduction to Coding" is really well-structured and nicely thought. The exercises are clear and easy to follow, but also very fun to do! At the end, I was myself surprised of how much I was able to learn only within 2-3 weeks. I can definitely recommend SheCodes to everyone interested in learning more about Coding.

I have always been interested in coding. However, I also thought that it is kind of a mystery and hardly possible to learn without sacrificing years to it. Well, then my friend mentioned SheCodes and all my prejudices fell while watching the free class. These three weeks were so much fun and informative. Matt´`s instructions and the material provided alongside the workshop were very clear and helpful. This paired with the communication on Slack and the support by the SheCodes made the workshop so enjoyable. I am very happy to have joined. 🤩☺

Easy-to-follow videos, which are split up into really small sections. This way, you can learn coding whenever you have a few minutes to spare. The best thing about SheCodes - and what definitely distiniguishes it from other platforms - are the fast and reliable responses you get from the people working for SheCodes :) Really recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of web development!

I really enjoyed learning something new and must say that eventhough you can get all the information for free on youube etc., it was a really comfortable learning experience that made it easy to stay interested and engaged!

I wanted to do something useful during our lockdown in Austria and SheCodes was the perfect choice! I had no prior experience with coding so the workshop was quite challenging at times but when it all suddenly 'clicked' it felt so rewarding :) I had a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of coding.

Three weeks ago I knew nothing about coding, and now I've created my own landing page. 😎 The SheCodes lessons were clear and easy to follow. Homework and weekly challenges were scaffolded and helpful, and I appreciated receiving fast and reliable support-- not to mention connecting with women all over the world via slack! I had a lot of fun building my final project and will be back for another workshop soon. 👩🏼‍💻

I've always been interested in learning programming. A few years ago, I even tried studying computer science at university, however, I didn't like it at all because it was mainly focusing on the theory of it and not really on programming itself :( SheCodes on the other hand was so much fun!! Matt is a really nice and fun teacher. His videos are never boring and you always get to learn so many new things. I'm really, really glad I found an ad for SheCodes on Instagram, otherwise my interest for programming would have been gone forever.

One of the best self-paced online courses that I attended so far! Well structured with a clear explanation of a topic and live tech support. Would I do it again ? Definitelly YES .... but I don't need to because I learned the basics with SheCodes 💪🏻😉 SheCodes Team knows what they are doing!

I´ve tried different ways to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS and I liked this one the most! ...and not just because of the flexibility and being able to learn after a day of work. I found it really great how Matt explained the materials and I enjoyed doing the challenges. This was the first time that I`ve actually had fun coding. Solving challenges successfully made me believe that I`m capable to do and learn more. I truly like the philosophy behind SheCodes and what it stands for! :) So thank you et merci beaucoup Matt!

She Codes Workshop helped me to understand the basics of HTML, CSS and Java Scripts. The 3 weeks course is a great starting point for everybody, who does not have the coding experience and knowledge. With a brief overview, you would definitely better dive into important processes in the front- and backend. I can just recommend it!

I absolutely loved this course. I took the the 8 weeks course and it was challenging but fun as well. The course is for people who are committed to learn something new and like a few challenges on the way. Over the 8 weeks I had a few technical problems and my contact person was so lovely, helpful and very patient. Thank you SheCodes Team!

SheCodes was definitely a good place to start coding! The pace of the course was perfect and everything was well explained so that every beginner could easily understand it. I particularly enjoyed the fact that after every lesson you had to do a challenge, so you could put everything you learned into practice. Can't wait to continue my coding journey! ^^

It's quite tricky as you have to pay to sooo many details, I also had issues with time, as I was moving from Vienna to Dubai exactly at the time of the course. Neveretheless, quite interesting and I enjoyed learning the basics.

It's amazing how fast and efficient I learned the bascis of coding! I really enjoyed it and can't wait to continue.

Learning to code with SheCodes was a really fun and interactive experience! Other than most coding workshops, Matt gives a clear overview over the basics of HTML, JavaScript and CSS which makes it easy to understand and the weekly assignments helpt to stay on track.

I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity – and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and can’t believe how far I’ve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! 😉

I applied for this workshop because I was curious to understand how websites are made and how they work and also because I wanted to learn more about programming with JavaScript.

This was my first try at coding and I loved it beginning to end. It was challenging at times and making me question my sanity sometimes, but I enjoyed it immensly. Matt put together an amazing workshop and I can't believe it has taken only three weeks to learn so much. I had so much fun putting together the final project, I'll definitely keep on studying and tinkering! Looking forward to the next course.

I've always wanted to learn how to code. However, most of my friends told me that coding was way too difficult. Luckily I discovered SheCodes and can now prove them wrong 💪 I really enjoyed this workshop as it is very well structured and easy to understand. I particularly liked the fact that after almost every lesson there was a task to be solved 🤓 I totally recommend SheCodes to all women with no coding background! 🤩

I really liked the course as Matt explains every step in detail and you have the freedom to watch the lessons whenever and wherever you want. I like the structure of the self-study course and you also get support when you got stuck but you also learn how to look up public developer pages and find own solutions.

I really enjoyed the course! I have learned so much in just three weeks and I will definitely be able to benefit from this in my job, as I work in digital marketing. The workload is not a lot, it is perfectly manageable with a full-time job. The course is very interesting, sometimes I could not stop coding and learning even though I had other things to do. In three weeks you cannot learn to be a developer, of course, but it is a great opportunity for building a new skill that can benefit both your logical reasoning and future developments in a job 😉

I loved SheCodes. Everything is online which gave me enough time for my 40h work schedule and still do the exercises and challenges in the evening. The whole SheCodes Team is very helpful and patiently answered all my weird questions. Will definitely continue and come back to SheCodes.

I accidentally stumbled upon SheCodes and decided to give it a try. Web design and coding was always something interesting for me, however I never was able to dedicate the time. SheCodes introductory workshop is a well-designed and well-taught course with constant support, encouragement and a great community of inspiring women. Great way to get into coding!

It is good to do an online course with a deadline so I could plan it better :)

I have completed different online courses and have to say that SheCodes is one of the best in terms of providing us with a great community and supporting everybody on their journey. Even though the course is quite demanding, it is still possible to finish it while working full-time. Especially since one can decide when they can study. I highly recommend Matt and his team. SheCodes was a great workshop. I had so much fun with all the challenges. The course was very easy to follow and understand (also for someone who is not native English speaker like me).

I liked the way things were explained by Mark. There was no complicated technical language used so I could follow the instructor easily. The information/functions explained in this particular course are pretty limited and the instructor encourages to look for more info in google. It would be nice if he could in one separate lesson briefly go through most used functions, especially in JS. Overall, I enjoyed the course and had much fun! Thanks!

The whole course is designed in an interactive, very user friendly and motivating way. Matt is a great teacher!

The workshop was very well structured. What I liked the most is that after every lesson there was a practical exercise. I also enjoyed weekly projects where you could implement everything what we learned over the week.

I really enjoyed the weekly classes and I'm glad I can revisit the videos again. This will definitely help with memorisation of the functions.

Never thought I would enjoy coding so much. The deadlines and challenges helped me a lot with my motivation. But the videos and explanations were also just really good and easy to understand! I was so curious and excited that I worked through some of the tasks in one day instead of a week.
