The workshop provided a fantastic foundation in web development, starting from the very basics to more advanced concepts. The instructors explained everything clearly, making complex topics easy to understand. I love that the videos were short. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on, simple projects that allowed me to apply what I learned right away. By the end of the workshop, I felt confident in creating my basic web pages and adding interactive features. A great plus that I found from the instructor, Matt, is that he provides tips and best practices so we can become better developersβorganised, structured, agile, and professional.
It's definitely getting harder but I know it'll be worth it!

As amazing as the previous course. It offers a perfect balance between guidance and freedom. Matt explains everything step by step so you can't get lost, your homework is checked so you know you're on the right track, but you're also encouraged to incorporate your ideas into the coding and free to work at your own pace. The lessons motivated me to find out more about each topic and the project left me eager to learn further.
This was the most challenging course so far. I have learned a lot and am proud to be able to present a finished project π

Although basic, it's a great introduction for those starting out. Instead of trying to explain each of the concepts, the course actually demonstrates in practice how to do things, and that makes it easier to understand.
This course was my first approach to coding and I think it was an investment for life. I truly understood the building blocks for coding and I would like to keep learning!
SheCodes Plus was more challenging than the basics but it was fun and I learnt a lot about how the things learnt in basics can be used practically.
This was a fun little workshop. It was perfect to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. It got me excited about web development and prepared me for a six-months long web development bootcamp that I enrolled in after this SheCodes workshop.
I like the course even though some things very hard to understand however its new language I am lerning and I am very much happy with all information i received

I thoroughly enjoyed developing my first weather application using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is a lot harder than it looks and makes me appreciate the skill and effort of web developers. The workshops were well paced and I learned a lot!
I had a great time trying out the beginner coding course. Came in with no coding knowledge at all but feel like I've come out of it with a basic understanding of what's possible with coding.
I've really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. I can't seem to switch off my laptop, I always think, "just one more lesson!" I'm looking forward to continuing to the next course!
I absolutely loved learning how to make my website responsive, especially since I mostly browse the internet on my phone! I have to go back now and apply this knowledge to all my past projects. Matt was, again, a very thorough teacher and the lessons were paced perfectly.

This was a really great add-on and such a fun project. It taught me many new skills, to help polish and elevate my coding, especially when it came to styling and improving functionality. Anyone thinking about doing this project should definitely do it!
This course got into more detailed steps which was difficult to understand at times. But with consistent practice and listening to each video more than once, it help me understand how to construct code better and even help with understand how to troubleshoot my own work. This course has made me look at user experience whenever I go to a website - I'm now creating habits to inspect a website and how it was structured to help better understand how to code.
I really enjoyed the length and intensity of the introductory 3 week workshop! The structure and format kept me engaged and helped me learn on the go. The final project was so fun and really brought everything together!

I've been fortunate enough to have been on a 2 year journey with shecodes; and something that started as a way of staying entertained through covid, quickly became somthing I was excited to come back to.
