Such a fun and interesting course. I loved that I was able to challenge myself and show myself that I could learn this great new skill. I can’t wait to build on my new skill set!

I came across SheCodes on my Facebook, and who knew a harmless click would turn into a 3 week commitment to learning this new skill. I went from knowing nothing about coding to building my first website about something I love. It was a great experience.

I enjoyed it so much that I have already signed up for more workshops. I have tried to learn to code of other website before and always lost interest but SheCodes lessons are easy to understand and informative, the activities are enjoyable and the community kind and encouraging. I can not recommend SheCodes enough.

SheCodes Basic was a great introductory into the world of coding. The lesson were easy to follow and understand, and the hands on element of the course kept the content engaging. I had a lot of fun building my page and look forward to learning more.

SheCodes is a fun and engaging way to learn to code. The lessons are delivered simply and the support from the team and SheCodes community is incredibly encouraging throughout.

These first couple of weeks of SheCodes Basics has been awesome, I really enjoyed learning the basics of how to create a landing page! The final project was lots of fun and provides a great feeling of accomplishment! 😊 Matt is passionate about what he does and an excellent teacher, breaking down the workshop into understandable and well-structured bite-sized lessons! Keeps you interested and wanting to learn more! There is a great team of mentors to provide guidance if you get stuck. I highly recommend this course for anyone with no prior coding experience who wants to learn about Front-End Development. I cannot wait to continue with the next SheCodes Plus workshop! 😃

SheCodes gave me the opportunity to learn a completely new field... programing! Especially about front-end development and I enjoyed every minute of it! I've tried to learn code many times in the past but have always got stuck. Matt's classes are straightforward and easy to understand, and I've genuinely learned more in the last 3 weeks than I could ever do on my own. So excited to learn more, and to see where these new skills can take me.

This course has been amazing. I have never had any exposure to coding before but I think I have found a new passion! Matt is very easy to follow in the videos and the homework and challenges are a great way to ensure you are following on with the content. I can't wait to get started with my next course!

Was a great way to learn from scratch.

SheCodes Plus was a brilliant in depth look at HTML/CSS/JS. The course brought all of these together into a project we got to build from start to finish. It was easy to follow and worked around a busy schedule. I enjoyed every minute of it.

The past couple of weeks have been both challenging and exciting! I have absolutely loved what I have learned so far. Especially apply the concepts directly after a lesson. If there is one thing I've learnt about coding is that it is all about practice, practice, practice. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who is on the fence. Just do it girl! You'll thank yourself later!

Such a great course. I'd never coded before and always thought it would be too difficult- but after the 3 week intro course, I feel like its possible! And its super fun which is a plus.

Such a great way to learn coding! The information is made to be so easily digestible and the deadlines keep you accountable and moving.

I am glad I finally decided to give this course a try! Starting as a 100% beginner, I was worried I might not keep up with the content, but the course is easy to follow and I was surprised at what I was able to produce even just after 3 weeks in SheCodes Basic. As Matt says, it's really not as hard as you might think to get started. Thanks SheCodes.

Fabulous way to learn to code - really enjoyed the videos and the website set-up. Made it really easy to absorb all the information and get a chance to practise. Would highly recommend.

I loved learning this introduction to code.

I've always wanted to dabble in coding and the SheCodes Basics course was the perfect choice. The lessons were very well taught and the content was easy to digest. The challenges were great to apply techniques taught in the lessons and helped to solidify the content. It was really cool being able to build a webpage from scratch! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn a little bit about coding.

I was opened to an easy to understand and exciting way to learn about coding.🙌🏼 Different to any other way I studied where Matt gives you the base and than the skills to find the answers yourself. I have immensely enjoyed my experience with SheCodes. I started because I am in the middle of lockdown and was going absolutely insane from boredom. It's a topic I knew the bare minimum about but was always interested in. I found that, although there was a lot of information to digest in a few weeks, it was done thoroughly and the content felt intuitive and logically set out. I often found myself thinking, "I wonder how to do xxxx", and it would end up being the next topic covered.

Learning is fun!

Of course, as expected, SheCodes has greatly built my skills in Front End Web Development through an extraordinarily unique and effective approach to teaching. However, this is not the reason why I would recommend SheCodes to someone. The reason I would recommend SheCodes is, in fact, because of how impressively the course was able to help me strengthen my motivation to improve myself- it is something that I will forever be grateful towards the lovely, generous, and thoughtful team at SheCodes for <3

This course has not only given me the basic knowledge of coding but also has given me lots of pleasure in doing it. I am feeling more confident now in learning to code and build a career as a developer.

Great workshop - super engaging even with it being online! Loved it! The challenges are great, and having the slack community really helps! :)

The Basics workshop was a great way to refresh skills I haven't used in a number of years. I liked Matt's teaching style, it's concise and to the point while also pointing you in the direction to be able to seek out your own answers.

SheCodes offers workshops in a format that allows the student to learn at their own pace which enabled me to do this in between my commitments. Access to the resources made this a really friendly learning environment.

It was great learning the basics and completing the challenges throughout the course. The lessons were interesting, engaging, and easy to follow and understand. I look forward to broadening my skills and knowledge and continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

SheCode makes everything so easy and fun to learn.

Before SheCodes, I don't know about coding but now I learnt how to code and what is web designing.

This course was a great introduction to the possibilities of coding! The weekly videos and final project were great hands on learning experiences. SheCodes made coding seem less intimidating and brought out my creative side. I look forward to learning more with the next course!

I really liked how I could watch the lessons in my own time. I was able to easily do the work on weekends around work, without worrying about getting to a live class. The slack community is great, as I can go in and see what other students are posting as well as see the community troubleshooting, together.

The SheCodes Basics course was enjoyable from start to finish. The instructional videos were clear, with Mat explaining and demonstrating concepts in a way that was easy to understand. The lessons were well streamlined and were ordered in a way that allowed you to build on your knowledge. I found that this was a great option for beginners who have never had experience in coding.

Love the flow of the course! Having an exercise after learning something new also helps a lot. This is one of the few courses in which I stayed motivated throughout the whole duration. 🤗

Amazing platform for learning coding from scratch in easiest way.

I started this as a taster to the tech industry and it was a highly enjoyable course. I absolutely loved the content and pace it was delivered. If you are wanting to give coding a go I would tell you to "sign up now!".

It's a great workshop!

Fantastic class to learn the most important fundamentals of HTML/CSS/Javascript. Matt's explanations are concise while allowing you to understand the why behind the coding. Great beginner class for people looking to get into coding but not sure where to start, as well as a great bridging course for those getting into CompSci! I feel way more confident entering my Masters of Compsci!

I had a lot of fun doing the SheCodes basic course. I'm very proud of how much I learnt and what I can now do. It's a great way to dip your toe into the coding world and learn at your own pace.

The SheCodes Basic course was the perfect way to get an introduction into coding without being overwhelmed with a new technical jargon.Whilst I am not currently thinking about a career in coding, I think digital skills is crucial in today's workplace. SheCodes Basic gave me exactly what I was looking for with all the right support networks and channels. True to many other testimonials, this course was actually fun!

I've thoroughly enjoyed it and I really like the challenges and weekly homework deadlines. It gives me that extra push not to leave it for "tomorrow". 😁

Thoroughly enjoying this course so far. It is a lot of fun, and I love that I can learn around my full time job. Lessons are informative and effective although can be a little tricky to get my head around JavaScript at times but I guess it is to be expected! Looking forward the next few weeks of learning!

I did some basic HTML when I was in high school and I saw SheCods and thought this was a great opportunity to brush up my skills. This is a fantastic course and I couldn't recommend it enough.

I first found SheCodes through an Instagram ad for a free coding class. I worked in Digital Service Design and wanted to increase by technical knowledge to allow me to offer better services. After completing the class I could feel myself falling in love with the process. I signed up for the Pro workshop package, and have a future goal of being able to offer web & app development services to small businesses.

Highly recommend SheCodes! I knew nothing about coding prior to taking the course, and by the end I've coded my own basic website.

Very fun and easy to follow along with.. even if you're a slow learner like me 😂 can't wait for SheCodes+ 👩‍💻

I did the Basics course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The challenges are fun and I felt like I learnt a lot in a short amount of time.

This has been an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Even though I thought I knew how to use HTML and CSS, this course taught me a lot I hadn't even thought of, and the Javascript was an excellent addition.

Was really easy to follow along with the lessons, and I am very interested to learn more!

The classes were short but bursting with information and flowed really well. It made it easy to follow and learn from.

This course was structured very well. The videos were easy to understand and the support from the SheCodes team is amazing!

Before doing the SheCodes workshop, I had an idea of how to inspect and troubleshoot HTML. But being able to build a website from scratch is next-level! The lessons were easy to follow, and I'm happy with the progress I've made during the past 3 weeks. Looking forward to learning more about coding.

I enjoyed the teaching style. It gives you enough room to explore more complexity if you wish, but ensures you have the basics down. The teaching materials are really user friendly and that makes all the difference. Very enjoyable and a great foundation to build on from.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course and the way it empowered me to not only build and tweak and find solutions to improve my own code, but also understand the backend of any code via developer tools. I'm already finding that it's uplifted my skills at work and it's been so fun learning a new and very relevant skill!

What an incredible class. I went into this course thinking it would be impossible to learn how to code by following online classes. I was definitely wrong. The content was engaging and moved at a great pace. The homework and activities were fun and support was there if we needed it. It's great to be a part of the community SheCodes has built. I've really enjoyed this challenge. I've learnt so much and it's been a rewarding experience.

This course gave me so much confidence and the ability to do things I couldn't do before - given how affordable it is it's a bit unbelievable how much you are taught. Matt explains things in an easy to understand way and the whole things is organised so each piece of new information builds on the last piece, so you never feel like you are learning too much at once that you can't connect to what you already know. I honestly think everyone should do the basics course even if they think they can't - I think you'll surprise yourself.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics so much so that I am now looking to do the Plus workshop. Lockdown got me thinking of trying new things and I thought about giving coding a chance. I stumble upon SheCodes and immediately sign up for SheCodes Basic Workshop. Thanks to Matt for making easy as he breaks down the lessons into small puzzle pieces and less intimidating especially for beginners. Making the real-life project was so much fun as well as I am a person who's up for a new challenge 💪. Definitely a perfect platform for those absolute beginners!

Matt has made this learning experience so easy to follow and enjoyable. The challenges were not intimidating at all and I had fun putting to practice all I had learned throughout the weeks. I had really basic knowledge of coding but now I feel that I have a better grasp of the concepts! Really enjoyed this course! I saw it on my instagram and thought I should give it a try. It was a great way to learn something new from the comfort of home, especially considering I'm in a lockdown at the moment. Hopefully my basic knowledge will be useful in the future.

I love the bite size lessons where we have to apply the knowledge we just leant right after each lesson to consolidate our understanding. Would recommend it to anyone who would like to see if coding is right for them.
