I recently migrated to Australia from the US. I have zero experience with coding! I want to start a career in tech and I was referred to SheCodes from a colleague. This three week workshop has been challenging at times, but wow the resources and the way the lessons are designed you have all the support you need to figure out the solution. Also, with my current employer I work daily with our dev team and this hands-on knowledge I am/will be learning can help me immediately in my current role during my conversations with customer onboards during the integration process with different CRMβs to our LMS software. I plan to continue onto the SheCodes plus program and fingers crossed I will succeed in becoming a developer one day!
SheCodes Basics is a great beginner course and I've learned html, css and javascript in a way and in an environment that was a lot less intimidating and a lot more fun that i initially expected. Looking forward to doing more workshops!

This is my third week into studying with SheCodes and it's been good so far. As a beginner, I think this course has a good mix of exercises, demonstrations and a practical "hands-on" approach. It's challenging, and you learn to build on your problem-solving skills. Overall, it's been a good experience over the last few weeks.
SheCodes is a really really great experience!! I found Matt to be a great teacher! Coding is not a big scary unknown thing anymore -yay!
SheCodes Basics was really fun! I had zero coding knowledge coming into it and expected to feel out of my depth, but it wasn't like that at all. The structure of the course and the bite-size-ness of the video lessons, plus Matt's easy-to-understand teaching style made the learning process really smooth. And I loved that there's no heavy theory or reading, you just get straight into coding! Will definitely be back for more :)

I'm a QA who doesn't necessarily need coding knowledge. But I did introduction to coding course a year ago just as a change for my routine work. I enjoyed it. This experience pushed me to think about proper coding which would give bit of knowledge on how to develop an application. So just dared to take up next level and joined SheCodesPlus. This course has given me a confidence of developing an app from scratch. I'm feeling great after completing today. This is opened new doors for new opportunities in tech field for me. I highly recommend this coding course. Matt is a great teacher and the way in which the content is broken down into little chunks is so logical. The mini challenges along the way are also such a great means of incremental learning.

Wow, what a serious test of mental fortitude! I have never hated and enjoyed something so much at the same time. What a great extension of knowledge.
Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Thanks SheCodes, I have really gotten so much out of this program. It helped me to get into further coding studying at a university and a digital jobs program through the government in my country. I'm really excited about everything that I learned, and I can't wait to keep learning more. I appreciate the style of teaching, the supportive teachers in Slack, and I'm shocked at what I've been able to build in just a few short months, and the way that this has allowed me to springboard into understanding more complex courses and code. I never would have dreamed what I have created would have been possible for me, thank you.
This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. I feel proud of my little weather site and am super excited to jump in to the next certificate!
Being a complete novice to coding, this course was quite overwhelming at first, taking me a lot longer than the suggested study time each week, however with lots of breaks and practice I was able to produce a some-what functioning page. Not the best or prettiest work but we all have to start somewhere! I have a much clearer understanding of behind the coding now, which was my ultimate aim!

I am really enjoying She Codes. Itβs very interesting and exciting. Love the content, the way the curriculum is planned explained very well and the way the lessons are delivered. Homework is a big part of SheCodes workshops, some piece of homework can be very challenging but enjoyable at the same time.

Really great, I loved the creativity of the course! Makes coding fun! They guide you through each step of learning to code HTML, CSS and Javascript. It's great because you get to appreciate all the websites you use everyday!
This course has made me more confident with my coding abilities, and my ability to problem solve and troubleshoot pesky code.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Plus course and working on the final project - it really helped me to consolidate my knowledge of Javascript and built my confidence in my ability to code on my own! The Slack channels were really helpful for discussing problems and getting quick responses, and I also found it helped to be able to read through other people's questions and see their code. Being able to work on all the mini-challenges without worrying about failing or being assessed, but knowing there were solution videos accessible if I got stuck, also made a big difference to feeling like I was free to see how far I could get on my own and helped build my confidence in my own abilities.
I have enjoyed SheCodes so much more than I thought I would when I started. The workshops were very interactive - the challenges and homework really helped to understand what we were learning/memorising code. And the final project was really fun!
This was a great intro course to expand my basic understanding of HTML and start to learn CSS & JavaScript. I look forward to expanding this knowledge in future SheCodes workshops. Delivered in great bite size lessons that were easy to follow.
