I've done other coding bootcamps and I've studied by myself before, but I can assure that there are a lot of things that I haven't seen before even on the SheCodes Basics level. I can attest that SheCodes is completely worth it. Matt Delac is a great teacher because he makes learning simple and not boring, bringing practical examples every step of the way and encouraging you to also try to learn more by yourself.
It was a very special experience and a great learning experience. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful community.
I was initially interested in the workshop to familiarize myself with coding and enhance my work with software and game localization. I am now much more confident to work with software-related projects, all thanks to the practical skills I learned in this course.

I remember when I was terrified when watching coding videos on Youtube and wondering if that was what I wanted to work with. I'm starting from zero and now I can say I enjoy coding and I can't wait for the next steps. Matt has a wonderful way to explain the details and makes coding really enjoyable.

I'm 37 years old and I always believed coding wasn't for me. I even studied Python in college and totally hated it. SheCodes came as a light at the end of the tunnel. I really want to learn how to code but I always had difficulties learning by myself. In the courses I tried to do, none gave me the support I needed. When I met SheCodes, I thought Matt's idea was great: teach women to program and not only that, change careers, have a new profession, and be successful. Prior to this course, I had zero experience with coding. I always thought it was something really hard to learn. I tried to learn by myself but the online class I was taking had no support, it was hard to keep myself motivated. I heard about SheCodes in an online group of women in tech, I did some research and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy that I made the decision to try one more time with SheCodes, I have all the support I need when I get stuck at some part of my code, the lessons are direct and short, very well put together! I am excited to continue on this journey.
I almost complete the SheCodes Basics. Change my mind and show that ia can do it, and I will. The best choice I've made was be a SheCoder :)

I had a lot of fun with SheCodes Plus! The way the course is organized into weekly challenges helped to keep me motivated without making me feel overwhelmed. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I feel like this experience has made coding a lot more accessible to me.

In this course I learned so much. It was 8 great weeks learning a lot of things and now I'm feeling so accomplished because I built my own app. I strongly recommend investing in a SheCodes course, because the content is very nice and organized plus there's a weekly basis homework, so you can stay motivated by keeping on track your progress.
The biggest revelation I had with this workshop is that coding is a lot a fun, so much that it almost became addictive. The course was very well-taught and few weeks were enough to allow me to build an effective and functional page. Thank you SheCodes!

I really liked SheCodes! I'm at the beggining of carrer transition and didn't know how to start, with wich code language, what could I do... The explanation are great and easy to understand. They have a team that gaves you support 24/7, studentes can help each other, and the most import thing, they teach you how to use some basic softwares and how to interact with them... It's an excellent course, very didactic! Primarily if the person has no prior knowledge of the topics. Even with prior knowledge of HTML and CSS, the course is worth doing due to tips and "hacks" that can streamline coding. I am a designer and mainly enrolled to learn more about javascript to help me better plan my projects and improve my communication with devs. After finishing my final project, I was very proud of what I have learned so far. The the course differential, for me, are the exercises! Because it intercalates with videos, which has the ideal time length, making the learning experience more dynamic.
I'm sure it was a great choice to continue my studies with SheCodes. I did Basics and now I finished Plus and I can't wait to continue. There's nothing better than studying with people who know what they're doing and teach in a way that's easy to understand. π©πΌβπ»β¨

I've always been interested in coding. When I came across SheCodes I actually couldn't believe I would ever do it. It was only when I started SheCodes Basics I realized that, not only it is possible, but also not difficult to learn to code. I find it insane how much I've learned with SheCodes! I particularly enjoyed learning the API integration. Would highly recommend it no any SheCodes Basic alumni. Plus is for sure harder, but everything you're taught makes a lot of sense. The challenges and the help given on Slack are a plus for me :)

I really loved everything about it! It's so good to finally understand coding! The classes are very easy to understand, and the best part is that we have an exercise each class, which provides us more practice and experience. You can get an extension for those who are worried about time, so the course doesn't become a burden on your schedule. Can't wait to start Plus!

The Basics Workshop helped me get an overview of how coding works. The way the lessons were taught was simple and easy to understand. I would never imagine that me, a psychologist, could build a website. I highly recommend this workshop.
