I never wrote a single line of code before the course, and yet I could complete the final project without any major difficulties. Matt is incredible and his classes are so easy to follow. The challenges in each lesson help you better understand and practice what you've learned. I highly recommend the workshop.
I always wanted to learn how to code but I was always giving the excuse that I didn't have the proper time to invest in it. So far, it has been a great journey and I'm happy with the final result, especially finding out that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, thanks to Matt. This workshop was a surprise for me because I didn't know anything about coding. It's my first time developing a website and already looks pretty good. My experience at SheCodes was amazing! I have always been interested on coding, but I never had the courage give the first stepn because I thought that must be too complicated for me even because I never had any kind of contact with it as well, but since I started the workshop, coding seems so easy and smoothy! I've always been curious about how things are built and in this course, I gave a pick on how to create a website- and I loved it! Although I don't plan to work with Web Development, I found the course really fascinating and helpful overall. I was so happy to see SheCodes launched a new workshop. And now that it's finished I'll be waiting for more. My first contact ever with code, less than an year ago, was with SheCodes. After I finished the last workshop, I continued to studied by myself. And now, while watching the responsive workshop I've realized how much I was able to learn all by myself, because I've realized that things that were so hard to understand before, were looking pretty easy now. And it is all thanks to SheCodes for giving me the first push.
It was pretty amazing and really easy to follow. Although I already had some basic experience with HTML, CSS and Java, I learned so much and made everything so much clearer.
If learning the basics of web development is on your bucket list, I definitely recommend SheCodes Plus! It's been an intense ride, with its ups and downs, but I'm proud of the app I built and can't wait to continue my studies by learning React!

After the 3 weeks workshop I got really excited about coding, and wanted to learn more. Matt has really shown me his passion that inspired me to go ahead with the studies, but also shown me his patience and made me realize that enrolling to SheCodes projects was just what I needed to learn. Plus is an amazing opportunity for those who like me don't really have previous knowledge, and think is quite magical to built an app! There are a lot of awesome material on the internet and is really cool to be able to read them and use it in my own projects. Hope that React is even better!!
It is a great course. I don't work or want to work in this area, but I felt that the basic knowledge was important. In the end, I have learned more than I was expecting and had a lot of fun in the process.

Before starting SheCodes, I thought I could never find an online course where it was really possible to learn coding. I thought it would be very difficult to understand, but Matt explains it in a very easy way to understand! I just loved it!
I am an environmental engineer, I work with projects related to creative and circular economics. I am very curious and I have a passion for nature and I see it as a great art, very well programmed! Staying more at home in these pandemic times and having a curiosity to learn something new made me rescue an old and hidden desire: learn to program, understand this art that looks like magic! I really enjoyed these first three weeks and I am looking forward to the next! I hope in the future I will be able to develop a career in technology in parallel with the environmental career. And I feel that SheCodes is the enzyme to catalyze this desire!
I Love it. I can't not even put in words how amazing this courses is. I had already given up on some code courses, I thought it would be the same thing on this one. BUT NO, you learn piece by piece, it's incredible , i Love it.
I've learned a lot with the SheCodes workshop, mainly because the exercises helped me go through it all with fewer adversities. I've never seen another learning platform being as efficient as this. I would certainly recommend the course to other women, I started knowing little to nothing about coding and at the end of the course I feel really confident in the skills that I've acquired. I had already tried some front-end programming courses on other platforms and none of them managed to keep me as motivated as SheCodes. I started the course without understanding almost anything about HTML, CSS and JavaScript and now I already have good notions of front-end to apply in my day-to-day as a UX Designer and work better with the developers.
I highly recommend SheCodes! I had no idea coding could be for me, or this fun!!! This 3-week workshop felt like the perfect intro to a journey I really look forward to continuing now. I had been planning to start a programming course, but they all seemed so strict and hard that I gave up (for some time). After seeing the SheCodes project, I was very surprised and curious to know how that would work. When I sent the final project, I was sad that the course was at its end. I want to learn mOre!

I started this workshop without knowing pretty much anything about coding. The way everything was explained and the step by step task/challenge dynamic made it really fun to try and code. At first it seems like there's a lot to take in but it works great! As an average user I can now understand a lot more about how coding works and the prospect of being able to use it on my own makes me feel a lot more confident! I hope to take the other 2 workshops as soon as possible, this was so much fun!

I have decided that in 2020 I was going to learn everything I've always wanted. Coding was one of those things. I started with a free course, but it was very complicated and fast, so I gave it up. Browsing through internet, I came across SheCodes and watched the free class. By the end of it I was enrolled in the workshop and started it a few days later. It was the best decision ever. Matt is a great instructor, very available and the course is well thought, it is not difficult and you can really learn and apply it. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

It had been a long time since I got so excited about something, taking the workshop really made me kind of take control of my life again. Learning, investigating and discovering new things, finding out that you too can do it and solving problems on your own are some of the most satisfying and powerfull things to do in the world, and SheCodes really helped me get there. I'll definetly continue learning how to code, absolutely loved it and this workshop opened that amazing door for me.
