The SheCodes Plus challenge and course have been an incredible experience! Learning about open-source code on GitHub, hosting a website, and integrating the SheCodes Weather API and Weather Forecast API in JavaScript was both challenging and rewarding. The videos were super informative but still easy to understand. Matt is really good at explaining difficult topics in a way that's easy to understand even if you never coded. It's very motivating that your able to a lot of things and see results in a very short amount of time.
The lessons were well structured and were divided into convenient parts. It was also good that there was something in each homework that we had not learned yet, so that we could practice searching/finding on the Internet. I'm looking forward to the next course.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the SheCode Plus course I just completed. It was an enriching experience and I learned a great deal. Getting more comfortable with JavaScript and discovering the practical applications of Bootstrap was particularly enjoyable! Some of the modules were quite challenging, but the ability to learn at my own pace was a great advantage. I'm especially grateful for Matt's team, who were incredibly helpful in addressing any queries. I would enthusiastically take this course again!
After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. The more you practice the better, specially if there are people guiding you and supporting you. Matt is a great teacher with a great team. I highly recommend to follow the full SheCodes program with every Adds-on if you are taking becoming a front-end seriously. Not only does it teach you code, but it gives you learning tools and self-confidence. Happy coding:)

This course has been instrumental in laying a solid foundation for my skills in JavaScript and API integration. The hands-on approach and real-world examples have empowered me with the skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving tech industry.
I think this was an alright lecture, with some useful links to websites and extensions. However, I think some of this information was quite generic.
Learning new things is an enjoyable experience for me especially when it comes into coding which I was planning to be a part of this WONDERLAND one day and now I'm really excited to say that I started it with a professionate team and still is going on...π€©
Working on the dictionary app project, I quickly realized how challenging yet exciting coding can be. There were moments when things got tricky, but with every line of code, I saw my vision coming to life. I am very proud, this dictionary app is close to what I had imagined. I am very glad that I took part in SheCodes workshops. I have only positive feedback. I highly recommend the workshop for other women. I would like to thank also the team who were always ready to help and explain problems and questions.
The dictionary project is a fun project overall. However, I found a notable issue with the integration of the Pexels API for image display. It seems this part of the workshop is significantly outdated, going by the oldest Slack messages, which date back about two months (as far as I could find). Despite API changes and a different authorization process, the lesson continues to rely on the outdated method. Surprisingly, the project's GitHub repository hasn't seen any updates for an entire year. Mind you, the lesson in question is only 30 minutes long. Inquiries on Slack about these concerns received a canned response stating that the Pexels API underwent recent changes. This led to the existing setup being dysfunctional, without an updated lesson. Instead, a new Images API was suggested as a replacement when asking for help in the Slack messenger. I believe a notice within the lesson itself about the changed API integration would be appropriate. Other lessons have included such notices before, so it's puzzling why it's missing here. This could save others from unnecessary frustration when grappling with a broken method. To those taking on this project, be prepared for potential roadblocks due to this outdated API setup. It's disappointing that such a significant flaw hasn't been addressed more proactively.
Such a great workshop! It is key if you want to make your webpages responsive, aka good-looking in mobile devices, which is of course crucial if you want to become a front-end dev. As with the other workshops I've done so far, Matt explains everything in a completely understandable manner. I love how we can follow everything step by step, even what to do when we make a mistake! It gives us the necessary tools to do what we are supposed to with some confidence on the way. It's naturalness makes it more attainable. I also feel that little by little I manage to ask less for help, not because I know everything, but because I have the tools to find the answers I need by myself. Looking forward to the Responsive Adds-on and SheCodes React!

I have to say by far this has been my favourite project so far. The designs provided all looked amazing and I felt so accomplished being able to develop and also tweak them myself. I really love responsive webdesign and it's all thanks to Matt!

I enjoyed my first SheCodes workshop a lot and was eager to pick up where I left off each night. I enjoyed this course quite a bit. Learning React does feel quite advanced and like a more sophisticated way to code. However, for me, it felt like sometimes new topics weren't made very clear or not expanded upon enough, or sometimes it felt like the instructor was fumbling with their explanation a bit and that made it harder to follow (which I find odd since it's a pre-recorded video, so it should be easy to edit). That could just be my personal experience, though.
The World Clock project was by far one of my favourites so far! I really enjoyed learning creating Select elements, timing JS events and exploring what Moment.js can do. It's so eye-opening and exciting getting to understand all these concepts and then practicing it yourself.
I am very proud of myself that I slowly started to understand JS which isn't that scary anymore! :)

Another great SheCodes workshop. Very glad I took the Max package and I get to do these little extra projects. It really helps in revising and using everything that I've learned so far. Moreover, you get the extra motivation of creating something new by yourself (and Matt of course). Happy coding!
