Great course! Very easy to follow and well explained. I like how the material is divided into short videos and you can learn step by step and motivate yourself by finishing each small challenge which leads to a bigger final project.
Thank you for this opportunity! It was such a fun time, Matthew's explanation of programming languages is great. Even though my English is not a native speaker and programming itself is not the easiest thing in the world, I had a great time. A lot of practice and everything in the course is structured and there is no unnecessary information. I definitely recommend it!

I was not sure if coding will be something I will enjoy or even understand a little. Nevertheless I was intrigued by the idea. After 2 years of wondering I finally decided to try it. SheCodes courses are just perfect kick off for people who want to start with coding from the beginning. I really appreciate challenges and homework with deadlines because this system keeps me in the process of learning, which is IMO extremely important.
I was scared to NOT understand all those symbols and words coding languages are consisting of, well, not anymore: 10 out of 10 times I would recommend to join SheCodes if your goal is to really learn and start coding by yourself! The workshops are easy to understand and follow, the slack crowd is the most supportive. I am shocked and proud of myself :)

This is a really good introduction, and gives you not just the understanding of the basics of coding, but also hands-on skills that can be used. The tutorials are quick and easy to understand and follow.

I am sure that I am not the first nor the last person who asked themselves at some point of their life "Is it too late to learn how to code?". SheCodes and their courses answered this question for me and the answer is.. Definitely not too late! :) I have learned a lot in this course in a very easy and playful way. Having to do homework after each class ensured that I put the theory learned in practise and helped me understand how to work with certain elements. Thank you, SheCodes!
The basic course is in general easy to understand even for total beginners. Videos are fun and challenges after each lesson are really challenging (but useful and worth it). I would definitely recommend the basic course to everyone who would like to find out if coding is the right decision for you.

I have successfully completed all the SheCodes workshops. I highly recommend these workshops if you are looking into coding. I have started a year ago and thanks to Matt and all the team I fell in love with coding and I will be looking for a job in the field in the future. Matt's explanations are easy to follow and very detailed. I loved the fact that after each class there is homework so I could practice what I learnt.

This has been an amazing course! I could never imagine I'd be able to set up an entire website by myself within 5 weeks and be so pleased with the result! I never would of imagined myself trying to learn how to program. I've never been good at math and always thought good analytical skills was needed for this kind of area. Matt the instructor taught me this is not true and indeed anyone can learn how to program. I loved how the course was set up and the instructions were easy to follow and step-by-step. I really enjoyed the course and would really recommend it!

Lots of new information. An interesting project to create your own portfolio. New tasks for styling website with CSS and Bootstrap. The most impotant and the most interesting thing was to create a responsive and SEO friendly website.
Three weeks ago, I knew nothing about coding. The journey is far from over, but going from "zero" to "competent enough to build a simple landing site" in such a short time is a win in my book, for sure. Highly recommend this workshop, and I can't wait for the next one!

SheCodes Plus workshop is definitely much more challenging and demanding compared to the previous SheCodes Basic. Working step by step every week on your weather app, trying to understand more deep and complex Javascript you soon realize how amazing programming is 🤩 Thank you very much for this experience! I am very excited to move on and learn React 👩🏼💻 You are building a working weather app but at the same time is amazing that you finish your project with I had a wonderful experience with SheCodes. After completing the first workshop, I went onto SheCodes Plus and learned so much more! I would recommend these workshops to anyone interested in learning to code because they're well organized and broken down into digestible sections. Not to mention the support you can receive via Slack is super helpful. Excited to move on to the next workshop and begin learning React!

The whole course of SheCodes Plus is a great starting point for all the coding beginners and maybe also for young specialists. I truly enjoyed it all the way, even though struggled at times. "For" loops, unit conversion, and 3h-forecast were my Everest 🏔. Nevertheless, I've made it to the very top and now getting ready for the new adventures with React 😱🥳 As for the SheCodes further development, I would love to work on more of such training projects, maybe on some different topics, with further functionalities. To my mind, this would help a lot to collect a pretty portfolio of projects for the students, as well as would serve as a powerful exercise to sort of automate all the gained knowledge :)
I had no idea that coding can be a creative activity! It opened my perspectives I had no idea about. It was fun! In the workshop I learnt the basics of coding and I am seriously considering to join the advanced courses.

The beginner course SheCodes is great for those they have no clue what is programming about. It was good they have homeworks, deadlines, a final project. Big support on Slack. Their videos are very helpful and easy to understand. I am happy for stepping into this new world online.

SheCodes workshops eliminate common misconceptions about coding. Thanks to this platform I found out web development can be very creative and fun to learn. I stumbled upon SheCodes ad while watching some tutorial trying to understand how to start programming. I usually skip ads but this time was different. What a ride this was! The whole workshop is amazing and everything is well step-by-step explained. You will learn the basics but it is enough to built your own page with some cool functionalities. And if you struggle with being patient this is the way how to work on it as well. Trust me! I enjoyed every bit of the workshop and recommend it to anyone wanting to start coding or just try if this is the right path. I am gonna definitely continue with Plus React. Thank you!
