I highly recommend this 3 weeks workshop for whoever is thinking about starting to learn code. All the lessons are short and concise. Matt's classes are super well-structured and well-explained.

It was so much fun learn how to code with Matt and everyone else from SheCode. IΒ΄m actually a Midwife and doing stuff on the computer was long time not my favorite. Now I like to code new stuff and learn every day new things.

It was a pleasure to work with SheCodes team, although I had no prior experience, I was able to learn it quickly, and the lessons were easy to understand and not boring.
The course was broken up into bite-sized chunks that have made it much easier for a total beginner to grasp the concepts taught. I have tried to learn on my own before (and I have been taught by a colleague) and it has been too overwhelming for me to continue. But this has given me the perfect amount of motivation, drive and a bit of deadline pressure to get me to complete the course. Huge thank you.

I can recommend SheCodes to anyone who aims to learn coding through an online course and is self-motivated to reach this goal. You can easily exceed the estimated course hours as it becomes a lot of fun getting creative and trying to build other features. Matt's instructions are always clear, well structured, and therefore easy to follow. While this might sound like a walk in the park, I would like to point out how frustrating coding gets at times. A great way to practice patience, be open to different approaches but also know your limits and find ways to work around occurring issues.
The Basics Add-On Workshop was a fun way to fresh up my coding skills and learn new things on the way. I have been recommending SheCodes to every woman I know! It's the best and most fun way to learn how to code. Thanks Matt and Team! π

A brief and worthwhile course for learning the basics of web development. In this course most common tags of HTML and CSS Syntax is taught. Also, one can get familiar with the basics of JavaScript and its functions.

From a userβs point of view, this WeatherApp seems very simple and easy function Appβ¦ until I created it all by myself. I was surprised at how many complex elements are involved. The more I understanding the logic, the more wondering if perhaps it could be done this way? I enjoyed trying to figure it out for myself.

I really liked all the little learning snippets and challenges. Perfect balance between listening and watching and trying yourself. I really learned a lot and have become more experimental as the course progressed to try new things and make things work. As final project I created a page on "New Work", a topic that I find really interesting and that I try to implement in my direct work environment to transform the company culture.
I'm really inspired by learning. I like that information is presented in short blocks and everything can be tested at once. I'm still at the beginning of the journey)) and I'm sure that it will be even more exciting in the future. I definitely recommend this course
