This course erased my fear of learning to code. I used to think that you had to be some genius with the best mathematical skills to learn, but you can simply be a creative like me that has an interest.
I've always wanted to learn more about coding but, wrongly, I thought it was closely linked to math and that was enough to scare me off. I've attended to a workshop months ago held by my my employer, where there was this girl talking about how exciting the life of a Front End developer is and that she learned it from scratch, highlighting that no math's involved in the process. I then came across SheCodes and a huge THANK YOU is due. Matt is a great instructor, thanks for your effort and your revolutionary project and thank you for letting me aware that is never too late! Coding is fun, is a creative process and even when you get stuck, is worth the struggle :)
Thankful to SheCodes for the opportunity to learn a lifelong skill. I came into the workshop with no prior experience and I'm proud of myself for how fast I have been able to learn it. It was challenging at the beginning but the lessons were easy to understand. I also loved the live support given whenever I got stuck. I'm looking forward to SheCodes Plus!!

The whole material was fascinating and useful. You learn something small from the every single video and then suddenly in the end of the week you realize that you can actually program the REAl-DEAL web-site with buttons, links and interactions!
SheCodes is a great initative to learn and understand coding. It has a great format which makes it possible to learn coding next to your full-time job. The Basic course was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to the Plus sessions.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I am now able to code basic JavaScript which I have been trying to do for over a month. But with the SheCodes basic, I was not only coding but understood what I was coding when it comes to JavaScript in just one week!

At the first time I was a bit skeptical about the bootcamp, since I'd been less motivated after several online coding courses and still it was quite difficult to build an actual website on my own. However, unlike other online-bootcamp courses or coding workshops, various challanges and projects of shecodes motivated me a lot and even let me finish the basic course within one week! Can't wait to start the new one :)
This course was a great introduction to the world of coding, which is a pretty exciting world! It got me really excited for this field and now I need to know more and dig deeper :)

I am a Chilean, living in Germany, I have a degree in Business Management but I am not passionate about it. SheCodes Basic is a frontend web development course for beginners. Matt is really good at explaining and you can always go back, rewatch the videos, read up details using the provided references and resources. If you are interested in web development and don't quite know where to start, this course is a great entry point.
In just three weeks, I gained basic knowledge of the front-end. I didn't expect it was possible to start understanding coding so quickly. I am very happy to study on the Shicodes platform and look forward to starting a new workshop

This was very fun and a great way to get started if you want to learn how to code and don't know where to begin. The SheCodes Basic course has given me an opportunity to peek behind the curtain and access a whole new world. Obviously, you won't learn everything there is to know in this course - but it has left me wanting to know more!
First you may think that it is unbelievable hard, but then you realized that you really can!! The challenges are excited!! And I feel so happy when I go throuhg it!
I really enjoyed the lessons and the exercises. Each lesson is short (up to 12 minutes) and delivered very clearly! There were very challenging exercises for someone who doesn't have any background in programming, but at the same time very fun! I highly recommend signing up if you are unsure about coding. I enjoyed every minute and I'm glad I was finally exposed to the world of programming!
As someone who has no background in coding, SheCodes gave me a solid foundation in learning how to do it. The fact that you can learn so much about coding in a span of three weeks actually surprised me. This was a really enjoyable experience and I learned a new skill that I will definitely use in the near future.
Short videos and flexible learning time were just the right thing for me. Had so much fun and this is definitely not the end of learning coding for me!

I really enjoyed the program, Matt was explaining everything clearly and encouraged you to do your own research before asking for help, which I think it's the best way to learn new things and also teaches you to be independent on the job. I enjoyed the Basics workshop. It gave me a good foundation of how to create web pages with custom design and dynamic content. It's been a month since I started passing SheCodes, a well-structured easy to understand coding program, that keeps you learn more and more day by day, and it's interesting so far! I've learned so much that already can create a small website about anything! Furthermore, I can't wait to see what I'll create in a year with SheCodes. I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! π¨βπ« One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. I believe this is very different to a lot of other courses and proves to me, that it was a great decision to choose SheCodes! I am excited to see what comes next and where this path will take me!

The school in my opinion is one of the best for girls and women! Which has no worthy analogues. Very clear and concise, with no unnecessary information laid out. The video lessons are very interesting and understandable, even for those who have no idea what is CSS HTML and so on.. This workshop is a perfect way to get started with coding. It is very well structured and understandable. Being able to take the class and do homework flexibly was important to me, as I don't have regular work-hours. Having homework and deadlines helped keep me on track. Every dream needs the smallest beginnings, and I started by getting accepted to a prestigious university in my country and I am still taking small and continuous steps. SheCodes is one of these steps! You can start arranging the showcase of actions and skills from such facilities. SheCodes courses are very smooth and clear to express the points that are important and basic, and you will spend very little time studying. This is a very positive point because you can quickly enter the coding environment and challenge yourself. Do not underestimate these courses and make the most of them.

In SheCodes Basics everything was new. In SheCode Plus I had a steep learning curve as well. SheCodes Responsive gave a good feeling. I could use the knowledge I gained from the first two courses. My workflow become so solid, that no professional programmer would suspect me to be a newbie. This course gave me so much inspiration for the apps I want to design and program next. I really enjoyed this Workshop and can recommend it to anyone interested in this area. It is so well structured and explained! Sometimes it got a bit hard like any new subject can be, but help was always accessible and at the end I really felt good about my project. I especially like that some elements are being repeated in different ways which is so important and helps so much with getting used to the structure and functions of the code. Matt has such an awesome way of explaining and most importantly he implements a very nice work and making-mistake ethic! Loved it.
I always thought that coding is not for me as I was never very good at maths or technology-related things, but throughout this workshop I learned how easy and especially how much fun it can be! Even though it was rather frustrating at times, those mistakes and challenges helped me to understand coding better and I am so glad that I decided to give coding a chance!
