SheCodes Basic was a great experience and I loved it as an introduction into coding. I'm now looking forward to dive into the world of coding more profoundly :) I'd definitely recommend this course to get started, it's easy to follow along yet the right amount of challenging at the same time.

This program is great. With SheCodes Basics, I liked how I learned just the beginner's level skills on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in small and simple steps. I was really looking forward to finally being able to build responsive pages. I enjoyed the course a lot, also because of the insights into Figma and other design tools. Now I'm excited to see what the next station "React" has in store.

These last few weeks were full of challenges and fun! I am impressed by how quickly this course taught me so many new coding skills and I really hope to further develop them in the workshops to come. SheCodes is truly an amazing platform for women to learn coding and I am very thankful to be part of this community!

To be very honest, I did not believe in myself at the beginning. I thought that coding is only for the IT guys who have studied it for years. But I gave it a shot anyways! After each class I stared to gain more confidence and I discovered that it actually might be something that I want to do in the future. It's actually a lot of fun! I am very glad I have tried and I truly believe that one day I will start working in this industry.

I took this course as a challenge and had doubts in the first 2-3 days. But I have to say the teaching/tutorials and the deadlines with the homework push you to deliver the best. Had an awesome experience in learning and would love to take the next course soon as now I want to know it all!!!

If 3 weeks ago somebody would have showed my final project's code, I would never have guessed this could possibly be my creation. The step-by-step classes were organised and taught in a way that is so smooth, efficient, good and fun that you almost don't realise how much you are learning and progressing until the end of the week when you are wrapping all the topics up. Really inspirational: I am already considering to continue with a more advanced class.

SheCodes was a great way to step into the realm of coding. Bite-sized lessons really made it more comprehensible, and the challenges made sure you weren't just being a passive learner. I feel like I'm ready to dive into more complex topics.

I had a great time learning how to code and understanding the mindset of a programmer a lot better. Everything at my own pace, so it was very convenient. Highly recomend!

The well-structured workshop was the perfect way to consolidate my HTML and CSS knowledge. As a project manager , it has renewed my perspective towards the work of my colleagues. :-) I'm looking forward to the next step - the React workshop to dig deeper into JS.

SheCodes is a great platform to challenge and develop your skills. As a beginner I found the structure of the workshop very clever and comprehensible. Although there was a lot of information taught in a week, it was very easy to follow the schedule. It was so much fun to complete the challenges and the homework each week and it's incredible to see what you can create after just 3 weeks of learning, thanks to the amazing team at SheCodes.

SheCodes is great! The course is quite challenging for complete beginners, yet I had a lot of fun completing all the homework and submitting my final project. The lessons are clear, well structured and easy to follow, which helps a lot in adapting the workshop to your own schedule and keep track of your learning progress. The SheCodes team is very friendly and supportive, I will definitely recommend this workshop to my friends!

3 weeks of coding workshops flew by as a one day and now I am very happy and inspired by Matt. The coding workshops were very intense, informative and well-structured and I really look forward to starting an advanced level.

The structure of the SheCodes Basics workshop is very organised and Matt's explanations are clear and understandable. I enjoyed the small challenges after every topic because it also shows me whether I understood what I just learned. Also, I like that there is a Slack channel where we can communicate with other students as well as ask questions when needed. Though it is an online workshop, it feels personal due to the engagement of the students and the SheCodes team.

I am from Venezuela and currently live in Berlin. I was motivated to learn basic coding so that I could understand more of why its being so popular. I really enjoyed this workshop as its really easy to follow, and it helped me to gain more motivation and improve my creative senses. Self-paced learning fit me perfectly as it gives the opportunity to manage my schedule and train self-discipline.

I couldn't image that I would be able to comprehend JavaScript so good! Great lessons, great examples, it was really fun working at my weather app.

Highly recommend this course! So straight forward, easy to follow, and super enjoyable! I fell in love with coding!

SheCodes was an amazing experience for me. I’ve always been interested in coding but never had the discipline to sit down and do it. The homework and deadlines really helped me to stay on track. Getting familiar with a new skill and being able to articulate myself through code felt very empowering. After diving into the basics and taking on fun coding challenges, I was able to move onto more advanced projects which prepared me for the next chapter of my coding journey. I had never considered coding as a hobby or career option - now I can see both in my future! Thanks to SheCodes, I feel more confident to keep learning and start developing my own tech projects.

I really enjoyed three weeks of coding! Coding opens up a whole new world. I can only recommend everyone to try it.

Wow, I have to admit it was tough! But really, really stimulating. It feels so rewarding seeing a real weather app, with real data, and fully functional, built with my own hands! I learned so much during this course, I started to get a bit more used to Javascript and I was even able to write stuff on my own in the final project, which I couldn't imagine I would be able to do. I also loved learning how Git works! There's so much stuff I need to learn better, especially from the first weeks; but I think what I learned until now is already so much, so I have to thank Matt for all of this!

I am so glad I decided to continue after the introductory course. SheCodes Plus was definitely challenging with moments of frustration, but also a lot of “oh I get it” moments. I undoubtedly learned a lot of new skills in coding – and I want to learn even more. Next stop - SheCodes Responsive.

In these modern days it is hard to get in touch with something that has nothing to do with digitization, so the ability to have at least a small overview about the functionality of digital tools, programs or anything like that is highly recommended. The initial impulse to put wood behind the arrow and to get my journey with SheCodes started, was when I changed my job in October 2021 and became a PMO in a small company building software for global telecommunication enterprises... I wanted to support myself getting to know and understanding this completely new, very complex working area and simultaneously broaden my mind. And you know what? It was definitely worth it! Yes, it is challenging, but Matt has a very cool way to explain and show things, which makes it easy to follow him and to get the challenges done. The most fun thing of course is to build your own project where you can live out your creativitiy and see if you really understood what Matt taught you.

I have always been interested in coding, as I recruit it-spechialists in my daily work. SheCodes gave me the opportunity to explore a small part of this world and a starting point to continue working from.

For everyone interested in coding, SheCodes is a great place to start learning. It's very interactive, fun, and you get all the help you need.

I would highly recommend doing the basic workshop. I found it really enjoyable, educational and the videos were incredibly easy to follow. Matt did a great job of teaching in a very clear and effective way. I couldn't believe how fast I managed to learn to do so much. There is a great sense of community and always someone to help when you get stuck.

This course is precise and straight to the point. I never had any knowledge of coding before starting this course. After the course, i have gained a high level of confidence and above all i have learnt how to manage my time well.

Excellent introductory course into programming, very clear and well-thought-out structure, interesting challenges. The real revelation for me was the fact that I don't have to be a brilliant mathematician to become a programmer - hurray! 🥳

I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone, even without any prior knowledge of coding languages. It is super straightforward and understandable, and because it is split into small steps you can easily follow and learn. Even if you find out coding is not what you want to do for a living, it's still really fun!

At first, I wasn't sure about SheCode courses due to my previous more than awful and disappointing experience. With the SheCodes course, I finally began to understand all the steps and processes. Thank you, now I am more confident that I will achieve my final goal.

I really liked to classes!

I am currently trying out new things, in order to figure out what I want to do with my life and decided to try coding. It used to seem like an impossible task only achievable for geniuses. Now it's something I really enjoy. I recommend the Basic course to everybody who wants a short introduction into the world of coding. My SheCodes journey will not end here.

coding is fun!

What I like about the course is the course content is pretty well-organized and easily approached. After each lesson, there will be a hands-on exercise for me to practice. And since the time is flexible, I am able to study whenever and wherever I want. Highly recommend it for beginners who want to start diving into coding.

I have tried a few different classes, and SheCodes is by far the best one in terms of teaching method and learning curve. I am so proud of what I learned in the basics course and how fast it went! Also, kudos to Matt for being a great teacher and really letting his passion for coding shine through the courses.

As someone who already had the basics of programming down prior to signing up to SheCodes, I must say that I am amazed how the first workshop i.e. SheCodes Basics is so well structured! From a beginner's perspective, it provides up-to-date basic knowledge and, most importantly, hands-on coding experience in a very easy-to-understand way, without being confusing or overwhelming at all! It was always my aim to gain more knowledge in coding. I was surprised how easy - but also sometimes challenging - it was to gain at least some basic knowledge in coding in such a short amount of time. I will definitely continue with the next class!

The course was good.

Learning coding again is really fun, as a DevOps Engineer I already knew how it works at the backend but never tried to Develop web applications. The course structure is very detailed and the challenges for every lesson makes it more interesting to implement the things we learn.

I enjoyed the workshop a lot. Even though it was a hughe challenge and it sometimes felt like I am learning too much - my head was almost exploding! But Matt explained everything step by step and I could jump to a previous video to get an explanation again. I can highly recommend this beginner workshop!

It was quite challenging for me to start this journey, I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it. So much loved the course, and the way Matt explains every level, slack also has been very useful, and always helpful.

Hi everyone! Although I don't need coding at my work I thought it will be a great opportunity to learn something new that perhaps I could use in the future - you never know right? :) SheCodes is a phenomenal course! It introduces you to coding in a very understandable and clear way. Thanks to many challenges you can not only revise what you learned but also practise coding and get familiar with it. Matt explains everything very well. Furthermore you are a part of the Slack community where you can always ask for help if you are stuck with your code and the people there are always happy to help you! Before this course I didn't know anything about coding and now I created my very first page! I'm very happy that I joined it :) I definetely recommend this course for everybody who wants to start his journey with coding. I'm very glad that I could be here and I wish you all the best!!! :):)

I never imagined how a workshop that started as a recommendation from a friend is becoming my passion. SheCodes Basics started to open my mind to the complex world of how the language for a web page is elaborated. The videos and challenges of this module are very understandable, and no previous knowledge is needed. I have never been so curious to inspect the pages before😅 I love how, as one progresses, more and more questions arise to exploit the creativity in the final project! And the best part is the community and the team that is always ready to clarify doubts. Thank you very much😊

The Corona pandemic has shown me that I need to do work that I really enjoy and that doesn't feel like work. That's why I want to use my creativity and my affinity for technology much more. So I spontaneously attended an introductory workshop of SheCodes and thought "OK. Wow. This is it! This is what I want to do!". And so, since June 2021, I've been learning how to code and just finished my 3rd workshop. And? I still love it! I have a lot to learn, but I've also learned a lot. So far I'm using my coding skills and trying to constantly improve. Because in the near future I want to work in front-end development! 😎 💪🏼

I have enjoyed the workshop so much, that I have already purchased SheCodes Plus and I can't wait to learn more!

The responsive workshop has been very challenging for me, I had to spent a lot of patience to work on the small details of my portfolio website. But I liked that Matt gives so much freedom to create your own personal website and at the same time gives many helpful and inspiring advices for the process!

Before starting this workshop,I had some html/css/java knowledge. Following the basics workshop helped me to bring structure to what I already knew. I had quite some fun following it and working on the homeworks and more specifically on the final project!

SheCodes Basic gave me a good first insight into coding. The content is very well prepared and quickly understandable. You are regularly challenged and learn the first steps of coding in a playful way.

I’ve seen the invitation for webinar on Instagram, accidentally. I am really happy that I attended the webinar. Nobody can learn more than in SheCodes in one week or three weeks in other courses. The money is worth it to be paid.

I loved the basic Workshop, I had fun, it challenged me and I learned so much already that I can use in my current job. I am aiming to also take the SheCodes Plus workshop in the future.
