What a ride! I have to admit that the JS-part of SheCodes Plus was very tricky and I needed to rewatch Matt's instructions over and over again. Also having access to the source code helped as a last resort sometimes (damn you, missing semicolons and curly brackets!). But ultimately I overcame those difficulties and now I am super happy (and super proud) to have my own personal weather application! I really enjoyed coding alongside Matt again and can't wait to continue with SheCodes Responsive. Thanks βββββ!
Nice workshop to quickly grasp the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was super useful to understand how APIs work! I am glad I got to learn Bootstrap as well.
I would highly recommend SheCodes Basics to any and all ladies interested in Coding. Matt is easy to listen to and his tutorials are simple enough to follow, without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information you are receiving. This is a fabulous workshop for beginners!
This course was the last puzzle piece to complete the checklist of things you need to start your coding career. So many helpful tips and tricks, and a super nice portfolio at the end to present yourself with.
Plus is definitely more challenging than Basicsπ. I enjoyed learning about APIs - it's really impressive that the end product is a working website using real-time data :)
This course is amazing. It's very well structured. I have tried to learn from many websites, though they all contain all information I was never able to keep up. SheCodes structure and the pace are perfect..yes perfect.
Very good course structure with short lessons and challenges focused on the topics of the lesson so it is easy to follow along. Caution: projects are addictive.
I had 0 knowledge about coding, but i was very curious to learn it. I did not know where to start and SheCodes was the perfect opportunity. It was so much fun and it was easy to lear the content. I have enjoyed every single tutorial and challenge of this course. I can just recommend it 100%, the lectures are very easy to follow so is perfect for absolute beginners and you will end up knowing how to build your first web from scratch. Looking forward for the next course now!

I loved SheCodes Plus. I learned so much. Working on the weather app project was fun and challening at the same time and I really injoyed it. As I am all about logic, Javascript is made for me, as it seems. I can't wait to dive deeper into the world of coding. Bring it on! :)

Being a mom of a four month old daughter, SheCodes has given me an opportunity to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while being flexible. Without SheCodes Basics there would not have been a chance for me to master the fundamentals of coding.
SheCodes is great for coding beginners or people who want to brush up on their existing skills. I wanted to take the course to improve my knowledge with Java Script and I am so happy I did. Matt is a great teacher and knows how to break down HTML, CSS and Java Script for easy understanding.
I never thought I would learn to program and on top of that I would enjoy it! Despite having to extend the course due to illness, I was able to accommodate everything to do it at my own pace. Thank you so much for this wonderful platform! I can't wait to start the next course!
I joined this course after i lost my job and i was thinking what should i do next . I had this site in my favourite list so when i will have time i will try the course . I have to say that this was my best desicion , i enjoy every step of this course . after only two weeks i was able to write code for a website with zero previos experince in coding. I have always been interested in coding but never got around to actually learn anything. SheCodes is a great way to get started and follow through with it.
The Basic course its great especially if you are quite intimidated by coding but still curious and eager to learn some basics concepts of what this immense world seems to be! The explenations are very exhaustive and the little challenges along the lessons helps you getting in the way to understand how you should "think" if you want to solve whatever issue you're facing. Very raccomanded!

I had never attended a programming workshop before. I wrote only codes at university and at work. It was a very different experience to complete this workshop. An advantage for spending quality time.

Through SheCodes I made my first experiences in coding. It was a lot of fun, the tutorial videos explained everything very simply and since you could apply it directly, you also got the practice. I definitely recommend it and look forward to the next course.
To learn to code was an amazing decision, to do it at SheCodes made the decision perfect. I love the way Matt presents the stuff. You get a lot of very well explained new information with each class but you don't get it completely chewed. Some things are easy to reproduce others not ,and you must go through trial and error until you get the right answer. This is for me the best way to learn something. I just finished the Basics level and cannot wait to continue this journey. As Matt promised, coding is really fun.
This was a great learning experience which lead me to want to learn more and even gave me the push I needed to pursue a different career path.

Before SheCodes, I knew less than nothing about coding. Now I got at least a basic knowledge about how coding works. Women tend to work in jobs outside of tech, with lesser payment. I want to improve my knowledge further and give my daughter, when she is older, the opportunity to learn coding, so she can decide if tech is something she wants to do in the future. I highly recommend the course!

These bite-sized bits of information make it really easy to understand the concepts and follow the instructions. More importantly it made me able to generate a website! Wow! ;) Of course you can learn all this with free tutorials from the web but you won't have the community, the feedback and the deadlines. I enjoyed the experience and might join again in the future for additional courses.

I really like this workshop because it has excersizes after the video and I can review things and practice more. also, the deadline of each project make me organized
For a beginner like me the course was a nice start. All was well explained and good prepared with step by step lessons and exercises to practice. As a total beginner in programming it took me a lot more than 5 hours a week to complete the challenges and homeworks.
I had very much fun the last three weeks learning about coding and whether it will be part of my future. Thanks so much for this very helpful course! I am sure I will come back!

SheCodes is a very good online learning platform. I learned coding about ten years ago during my bachelor, but since I never used and practiced it afterwards, it felt like learning from zero again. The way Matt explains things is very fun yet understandable. Can't wait to continue my journey to shecodes plus!

Really great workshop, I was thrilled to be learning so much about coding in such a short time. Everything was well explained and the lessons were very good structured - it was really useful having a challenge at the end of every lesson in order to test your knowledge afterwards. I loved the workshop!!! I have always struggled to learn to code. But the lessons at SheCodes are easy to follow making it a lot of fun to learn.
What I liked most about the course was that every learning sequence is finished with a hands on exercise. The sequences are not too overwhelming and nicely structured. I would have loved to be challenged a bit more - so I wouldn't mind if the exercises would have required a bit more own research.
