I really enjoyed the workshop and became highly addicted to coding. I learned a lot in such a short time. I definitely will take another course! I especially loved the challenges and building a whole project on my own.

I am doing this partly for fun and to explore this mysterious world of coding that I have always felt was beyond my comprehension, but SheCodes has made it so accessible and surprisingly entertaining! I loved how easy it was to access the lessons, how support was always available and how each lesson was broken down so as to never overwhelm you with information. Looking forward to having some time to keep on going with the different levels of workshop!

SheCodes is a platform that helps in learning the current latest technology. It has helped me a lot in gaining knowledge about web designing. I intend to learn more about this as has my current interest :) .

After completing the basic workshop I decided to also enroll in the SheCodes Plus Workshop – and I would highly recommend it! It can be challenging at times but the SheCodes-Team gives you wonderful and prompt support regarding any questions. It really helped me further understand the world of coding and I am very proud to have coded a functioning Weather App.

I had to take the course twice because of life circumstances. I understood things much clearer. I still feel a bit unsure, but the workshop helped me a lot. I am exited for the next one!

The responsive workshop is incredibly useful. Matt explains everything very detailed and easy to understand. If you have questions, the Slack community, especially João, are there for help! It is really nice to see how the webpage that I have created from scratch looks good on so many devices. I am really glad I took this workshop!

This course was challenging but also super fun at the same time! I had only little coding experience before but now I'm confident to continue my coding journey 😊

This course helped me to add a lot of knowledge about coding. Some parts of the learning process were truly frustrating but there was always someone to ask. I improved my basic coding skills and earned a lot of practice to combine with my media design skills !

Just another amazing workshop! I have really learned how to build and launch a personal website. It was full of good challenges and it's interesting to see how your skills improving during the course. It's well-structured and it's absolutely doable with a full-time job too.

For over a year I had been trying to get into coding, but never went through with any program that I have started. Now, I can be proud of myself for finally making it! I have now managed to get a well structured foundation and understanding of the basics. It was amazing to see the support that SheCodes provided. I felt challenged, but never lost. Coding has always seemed complicated and inaccessible to me as a woman with a non-technical background. This workshop was a great introduction to coding in an accessible and fun way. I learned way more in 3 weeks than I could ever have imagined and loved every minute of it.

This Workshop is the best investment 💰 I have ever made. I had zero experience in coding. At first, I was skeptical about all the promises Matt made in his introductory video. It was sounding like something impossible 🙀. But with baby steps, he taught me and many others how easy it is if you are willing to try. Due to the advancing digitalization, it is important to know at least the basics of some programming languages. Since I work with professional programmers in my job, it is important for me to understand what they are talking about, otherwise the success of a project is at risk.

I had a lot of fun while learning how to code with the basic workshop. The way the course is structured is great. The videos are not too long so it's easy to keep up and they are also packed with a lot of knowledge! I learnt a lot and I definitely recommend the course to everyone who would like to learn the basics of coding 👩🏻‍💻

I truly recommend the course! Really think that its structure and set of information that you go through are amazing! Also, despite a full-time job and other responsibilities, I managed to fit the lessons, the individual challenges after them, and the weekly homework, so the self-paced aspect is a really big advantage! Long story short - don't overthink it, just do it! You will feel accomplished and great after it! 👩🏼‍💻

The course is really interesting and teaches all the basics about front-end coding. As an UX Designer, I have heard most of the concepts before, but I had no idea how to make my designs real and I can tell I had a great progress in 3 weeks. I feel now that I am prepared to have a better communication with developers and I have a much greater notion of how things work. It was a great learning.

I loved every second of my workshop. And I would highly, highly recommend to join in if you want to learn what coding is all about. It is so much fun.

It is super duper challenging and fun🎢 The most exciting thing is to see that the app I was coding is alive due to a real-time database. I can really apply what I've learned to create something that could benefit others in the future.

I HIGHLY recommend shecodes basics to all beginners. I really had so much fun coding and hope to go further in the futur. I've never enjoyed this much learning new skills and always thought that becoming coder is such a difficult task that would take years of hard toil. Anyone can do it! Especially when you get the chance to be one of Matt's student! He is simply a great instructor and passionate about what he is doing.

This basic coding course is highly enjoyable and easy to follow. The video lectures provide a logical step by step guide to the topics and Matt's unique recordings provide a personal touch that is relatable and welcoming. Immediately being able to use your new knowledge and see the results feels very rewarding and satisfying, and encourages further research and learning.

I have been wanting to learn to code for a long time, and SheCodes made it really manageable and fun to dive into something totally new to me. I am super impressed with how clear each lesson and how well everything is organized. I will for sure be coming back for more!

This workshop is completely hands-on. It can be challenging but it it is definitely worth it. I went from zero knowledge of coding to building a weather app in a matter of weeks. I highly recommend this workshop for beginners like me.

This is the first course for beginners which supports beginners. With this course, everyone can learn to code!

I've really enjoyed this workshop! The lessons were easy to follow and it's really satisfying to build a page from scratch at the end. I also liked the fact that each lesson is not longer than 10-12 minutes. It was easier for me to get organised since I had to work during the day.

As someone who is not in any way a designer or engineer but at home in the humanities and social sciences, these workshops have been a wonderful and easy introduction. I can recommend them.

I always thought coding was super important for my generation but found it really intimidating. This workshop helped me overcome my fear and I really enjoyed it!

It was a fun way to lean to code. The videos explained everything very well and the challenges encouraged to find creative solutions. The resources were well prepared.

I am very impressed how intuitively and actually easily this course would lead me to being able to build a web-page and attain an understanding of how coding works. And it feels like doing magic - thank you Matt :D

This workshop is a really good introduction to React. Matt even updated the react workshop, so that there are two projects to choose from. Or you can do both!

I am probably like many people who tried to learn how to build a website by picking up bits and bobs of knowledge and examples of code here and there through various means including online tutorials. I really struggled with this approach and building something, like I had to for a couple of university projects, tended to be quite frustrating. With SheCodes I finally found a method to learn in a structured way where each step builds logically on the previous steps. Now that I have finished the basics course I can't wait to get on with SheCodes Plus and React 🥳🤓

The SheCodes Basics Workshop is great if you are interested in the world of coding but a little afraid at the same time - whether all coding is new to you or if you want to refresh your knowledge. It is great that you are also taught where you can learn more and how you can access more resources.

I had a lot of fun exploring the world of programming. It was a perfect balance between learning new things in a short time and exploring independently. The course was super structured and gave just the right input through the learning units. The homework assignments allowed you to check your own learning, which was motivating and made you proud. The support from the community was terrific and despite being online, you never had the feeling that you had to struggle through alone. As a psychologist, it gave me the perfect insight to delve more into the world of digitalisation and to learn more about the people in that field.

It was so much fun! I really liked the structure of the course. For me it was the perfect balance between being challenged and not feeling overwhelmed. Matt explained everything very nicely and I always felt like I could ask any question if I needed help.

I chose to do a SheCodes Basic course because I am interested in a career change. Since I had never coded before I was a complete beginner but quickly picked up what was taught in class. I like how you can slow down the teaching videos when you're learning something new if it's very complicated. Very proud of myself for having completed this course and for everything that I've learned.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon SheCodes through a LinkedIn profile of someone else. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript was something I had wanted to learn for a long time and Matt made it easy and fun. I never thought Coding would be that addictive. I will definitely take the SheCodes Plus and maybe even further courses in the future.
