IΒ΄ve never coded before... At the beginning, it was pretty hard for me to get the logic. The challenges after each lesson helped me a lot and in the end, I was more than euphoric to do my own project! I am very happy with the result and it was a lot of fun, too!
Just finished my final project in the 3-weeks workshop "Introduction to coding". This course was a really good experience to learn the basics for coding. In particular, it's great that you can organise your time to complete lessons and challenges by yourself. It was so much fun taking this first step! :)

I chanced upon SheCodes on Facebook, and told myself "why not try this out!". I enrolled myself and was highly motivated to learn more about Coding. It was challenging at first while trying to refresh myself with HTML and learning the rest. But, it was all worth it! I will definitely recommend SheCodes to my girlfriends!

The workshop "Basics" was great! I enjoyed having short exercises after each video to apply what I'd just learned and having to solve a bigger challenge at the end of each week.

I finally wanted to get back into coding after taking some coding classes back at university which I really enjoyed. I decided to register for the SheCodes Workshop because I was impressed by the whole structure of the workshop and the SheCodes community (the free SheCodes Express introductory class was super helpful in making my decision). The time requirements for the lessons, challenges, and homework tasks were perfect for me since I was also working full-time. Thank you so much for the great workshop, I certainly learned a lot!
The workshop was great, I got to learn the things I was curious about and even build something small to finish it. The whole program sets participants for success and the support provided is great as well.

I really recommend the SheCodes coding workshops! I started with the free coding class, then decided to do the SheCodes Basics, now I finished the SheCodes Plus!! This introduction to coding was a great training for the absolute beginner, I was. The videos are explaining HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT functionalities very clearly concise and easy to digest. It really increased my interest for coding even though there were a lot of try-and-errors. It is just amazing to realize what you can do even with some simple code!
It felt like a long journey but it was worth it :) Learnt new things, tools and overall a pleasant experience. Would definitively recommend it.
I really liked the format of the course, it is very easy to navigate. Moreover, I especially liked the practical part where you get to put in practice the skills obtained during the learning sessions. I think Mark does a great job as a teacher, he is very direct and does not make it look like difficult, just challenging which is exciting. I definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who is looking for a new challenge and maybe a new path in their professional career!
The workshop was super interesting! All the basics were explained understandably, and whenever I needed help, I received it within a few hours. I can recommend the workshop to everyone!
The biggest selling point for me about SheCodes is that you can learn according to your schedule throughout the week, but having the homework deadline gives you that push to prioritise it. Having no background in coding at all, i think it's amazing how much you are able to learn in such a short period of time. I also really appreciate that you can go back and re-watch the lessons when needed.

This workshop was (as always) really fun! But better yet it allowed me to consolidate everything learnt in previous workshops, whilst still learning new techniques that have made me a more efficient coder. I'm really proud of the website I built, and will definitely be using it in the job hunt going forward!

This course was very well structured, I had SO much fun and It was completely possible to achieve parallel to my full-time job as an Architect. I had some previous coding background (but this previous learning experience was really painful and I hated it, I think because I couldn't understand it). I can just say that during this course I finally found the "love" for coding and I'm ready to continue the following courses until I become a "pro" in Front End-Development. Do not hesitate to try it, really, I think anyone could enjoy this! Happy Coding! :)

This is an extremely important workshop to understand CSS positioning and to build great responsive websites. I have had as much fun as in the previous workshops. Every step gives me a wonderful feeling of accomplishment that makes me only think that I wanna learn more and more about frontend development.

The SheCodes Workshop is really intiuitive. It is a great starting point into the world of coding. Don't be afraid if you haven't had any contact with coding before - all the videos are really well made.
The training sessions are entertaining and are followed by small exercises, which ensures variety and learning success. The project at the end shows how much we could learn in a short time. Was fun :)
I chose to take this coding course because it was something I knew absolutely NOTHING about. The best thing about it were the deadlines. I do not have enough self-motivation to learn something so intimating without a pre-set goal. The practices and homework gave the (gentle) push I needed to really tackle this new skill.
This workshop is easy to understand, well-designed and has outlined the possiblities that I am looking for. Can't wait to learn more next week π€©

I didn't expect much from a three week workshop, but it revealed a whole new world to me. The course gives you a great first look into the field of coding and its endless possibilities. I would highly recommend this course to everyone who is interested in design/web-related topics or just wants to broaden their horizon. It's very helpful to have weekly deadlines and a community that helps you if you have any questions about the lessons.
I've always been wanting to learn how to code and through SheCodes I believe I found the best way how to realize that goal. The material is straight forward, the challenges help understand how to use every new piece of information, while the end result of each homework is a motivation itself to want to learn even more! π

One of the best online courses I have ever attended! I started discovering HTML, CSS, and Javascript through Youtube videos by myself. Even though I already understood the basics functions, I feel like my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS was more crystal clear after SheCodes workshop! Matt's videos are really straight-forward, and he sometimes gives tips and tricks to make the coding process more comfortable.
SheCodes is a wonderful online workshop for learning coding! I still can't believe that I can code now!

I really enjoyed this workshop. Not only was it a lot of fun but I feel like I learned so many new things and it was easy to follow the course as a complete beginner. Matt explains everything really well and the community is very helpful. Due to the flexible schedule of the course it is no problem to follow it while working full time.
This course was definitely helpful as an introduction, but I would not recommend it to people who truly want to get into programming.

SheCodes is a great Kickstarter for everyone. A lot of people think that coding/programming is impossible to learn and enjoy at the same time, but I see it differently. I had fun and my project totally absorbed me! I am looking forward to the Plus workshop. :)

Coding was always something blurry and confusing for me and I thought it was time to get more into it, to increase my knowledge and gain new skills. After watching the free coding session for Beginners from SheCodes, I've been directly hooked and decided to enroll right away to the beginner workshop. The video courses are clear, short but really detailled and easy to assimilate! In addition to that, the challenges are a real plus because they permit us to apply everything that has been brought up in each video and therefore, learning not only by watching but also by experimenting. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who doesn't know how to code and who thinks that it is not for them. SheCodes had the capacity to make coding fun and exciting!

I already knew the basics of html and CSS, so it was useful to get a refresh. I was particularly interested in learning the Javascript and I found it super fun to apply it to my final little project.
This has been a lot of fun - the instructions were very clear, nevertheless you had to do some research on your own. Any questions have been answered via Slack in no time. Would definitely recommend for beginners, to get an idea about coding :)

I really liked working with sheCodes! It was definitly more than 5 hours of work a week for me ;-) And I would have liked to have had more time. Because after an 8-10 hour day of work (on the computer...) still sitting down in the evening for some more hours of coding - was exhausting. Next time, I will do a course like this on my holiday! Can highly recommend it! Really nice videos, easy to understand.
The 3 week coding course was fun and as well challenging in a manageable pace a the same time! I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to get introduced to some basic coding skills.

I really enjoyed this workshop! Although I already knew some coding, I learned a lot of new things! When I visit websites now, I look completely different them.
Since I just finished my Masters degree and are right now looking for a job, I had some extra time on my hand. I always found coding very interesting but did not know where to start. SheCodes is perfect to start coding. The homeworks and challenges made it easy to stay on track, and the final project was awesome!
I had a really fun time coding even though there were some long late nights trying to figure out my bugs and finding solutions to the problems. There's a lot of trial and error, excitement and disappointment, satisfaction and frustration, but all these things are part of the journey. I'm pleasantly surprised at what I was able to do. SheCodes developed my hard skills and it was a positive experience. In the end, I'm very happy I tried SheCodes. I even impressed my husband!
It's hard to say how I was lost in my career until I started coding. With the most diverse blocks, like I'm not as smart for that, or I don't belong in this world, I was never allowed to look at programmers like other eyes. Now, after finishing my weekly challenges at SheCodes, I realized how things flowed, and with each step completed I felt great joy to see things being built and having a website look. Code for me, it was like I should have done this my whole life.π Thank you very much to SheCodes to be part of my new start. π
