This 3 weeks workshop gave me the chance to familiarise with different coding languages. Weekly homework and challenges allowed me to learn and test my skills and put in practice each lesson. After this workshop I can say I feel much more confident in my tech knowledge and the experience has sparked in me the desire to learn more about coding.
This Workshop is perfect for an absolute beginner. I am also working and I perfeclty managed to do both at the same time. Now I can say that I know some basic stuff from the html, CSS and JavaScript programming languages. Thanks to the SheCodes Team β¨ and to Matt Delac π very clear instructions and challenges that help stimulate our interest.
Another great course with great support along the way. There are definitely tricky concepts, but they all are made clear by the end - sometimes you don't even realise it is happening! Thanks again to Matt and the whole team, and bring on the next course!

The workshop was a great opportunity to refresh my knowledge on HTML and CSS and learn first steps in JavaScript. Sometimes the pace was a little bit too fast to my taste. If I hadn't known some of the stuff before I believe I would have been a little lost. But all in all it is a great workshop. I had lots of fun learning new stuff.

I enjoyed learning more about JS. The course structure is really helpful as it lets you use the knowledge you just gained right away before moving on to the next topic. If there were ever any doubts, the slack channels helped to clear them all.
This class was really easy to follow and very engaging. I feel like I have learned the basics and am glad that I have tried it out.

I started to learn coding by myself, which was sometimes not very motivating, specially when I had thousands of questions. When I joined SheCodes, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Matt's explanations and examples are super clear, and the community and the SheCodes technical support is a big plus. The course was amazing for beginners: an intuitive setup with great, short and easy understandable videos to learn all essential basics of coding combined with hands-on tasks and projects and a very logical and useful program structure. I loved that I could do everything at my own pace and was still motivated with the fixed deadlines and could get support whenever needed.

SheCodes made it so easy for me to learn the basics of coding! It was a lot of fun and so well explained, for everyone to understand and to implement new learnings immediately. Before I started the SheCodes Workshop I didn't know one thing about coding. Thanks to the classes and challenges I've picked up the basics super quick und the videos are very easy to understand. Thank you! Because your homework gets checked every week you also get a helpful feedback on if you got it right or not.
Coding and things like bootstrap or GitHub can be very overwhelming at first but Matt does an amazing job in teaching the learnings very well with an effective mix of theoretical, explanatory videos and practical exercises. Besides, I always felt very supported by the SheCodes Team in case of questions or doubts. So happy having found SheCodes and completed two of their workshops already!! :-)
I found the course well-structured and the Homeworks very challenging. Matt is an excellent teacher: it's not easy to explain Java Script with a clear, simple, and fun approach. I think it really worth taking on new challenges and learn something interesting. Honestly, I'm surprised of having been able to build a little project in just a few weeks!

For someone that is not so tech savvy, this workshop has taught me a lot in just 3 weeks. The videos were straight to the point and the challenges after each lesson were really helpful. I can proudly tell people I have coding knowledge and I will be better at it soon after the coding +react workshop. I am looking forward for the next challenge!

I honestly am shocked. I took this course as an Operations Manager for a start up. I manage one tech teammate and I remember her inspecting pages and finding errors almost immediately. I just got tired of feeling like I was managing someone whose work I didn't understand and I wanted to become someone who she could go to for support. I looked at code today at work in our email marketing and what used to be SO scary to click was now total cake and made sense. I can't wait to take the next level in SheCodes. It's so fulfilling and Matt and his support team are unmatched. I also made friends and I am a TOTAL introvert. I'm so proud of myself.

Combining short, precise "theory" parts with exercises and the possibility to regularly review the content in terms of homework is really great. It perfectly fits with a busy work schedule and I am really keen on keeping learning. But to be honest the greatest benefit is the community: Matt and the whole team are really helpful and it is great to connect with the other students.

Learning how to code has been on my mind for a long time now. As an UX Expert I deal with web-based solutions every day and always wanted to be able to understand the developers better. It was really hard for me to find the right approach to the world of coding. Then I came across SheCodes and gave it a try. It was the best thing I could do, because it gave me the best opportunity to take my first steps and comprehend what coding really means. The course is so well structured and so focussed on practicing your newly achieved skills. Most importantly: it's so much fun! I can't wait to continue my journey.

I took the Xmas break to invest in myself by taking a three-week SheCodes workshop. It took me a few days to get into the programming mood, but once I started working on the first chapters, time just flew by. And within a blink, the three weeks were over and I had finished my first own real live project, and I am so proud to have exposed myself to unknown territory and been able to come up with something I feel happy about. So thank you, Matt, and your excellent team for this exciting experience!
It was a great experience especially for a person like me who is a Biologist and does not have any previous software programming/web development experience. It is super fun and I am curious to move ahead.

Matt has been a great teacher over the whole workshop. If you encounter problems, you can go to the slack community and ask for help. I tried to learn coding several times already and always failed. There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.

SheCodes is a great platform that gives beginners good foundation to enter into the world of coding. I started with no idea about designing website but now I have gained knowledge about designing basic interactive website.
The workshops are really fun and useful also easy to understand.
Even though I already had some limited experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the course helped me get back into it quickly. I liked the short lessons to get the right amount of input for each subject and that we've been encouraged to ask and/or google when we encounter problems.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned in three weeks. What I appreciate is that Matt not only teaches us how to code, but he also does a great job of teaching us how to teach ourselves to code: where to look to answer our own questions, what tools we can use to enhance our code, etc. SheCodes offers a great foundation from which we can explore and learn on our own. Highly recommend.

Hi! I had no coding experience prior to SheCodes and I got surprised how much I could learn about it! I always thought coding is super difficult, but thanks to Matt's didactics I was able to build my first website!
