I learned to code before SheCodes for three months and was about to go crazy - with SheCodes it is a lot of fun and you not only learn a lot but also develop the desire and the urge to learn how to code more and more :-) I am happy to have found SheCodes - Matt and his team are great!
I highly recommend the SheCodes Workshop for every intrigued woman. The lessons are pleasantly compressed, easy to follow, and most importantly: so much fun! Additionally, many useful tips and materials for further improvements are provided. You can feel that Matt loves what he does through every lesson, and the SheCodesRadio will surely help you to stay focused.
I currently work mainly with backend developers, but already the first three weeks of the course helped me to better understand the "language" of my colleagues. And who knows, maybe one day it will be my language as well.
I can't really emphasize how much I enjoyed it. I haven't stopped talking about it since I joined SheCodes, probably I will be talking about it for longer. Learning to code at SheCodes was so very exciting. Understanding the basics of CSS, HTML and Javascript and then actually making use of them during the final project has been such a motivating and fun experience. Learning about something I knew absolutely nothing about has been very empowering and I given me the confidence to continue learning!
It was amazing how programming became accessible and fun with Matt Delac. Classes are fluid, the support network super present, and I feel excited to continue learning! :)

I never coded before and absolutely fell in love with it! This is a workshop that is super useful if you just want to learn more about coding in general. What I personally like most about it is that I can get creative with the websites I am designing. I highly recommend SheCodes because it has a practical approach to teaching and support is great!

A great course to anyone curious to learn what front end development is all about. The support from the team on slack was really fast, clear and helped to answer my questions when I was stuck. I really enjoyed completing this course, with all the challenges I came across the way.
It's been fun doing the challenges and Matt explains everything very well. The three weeks course is great for everyone, who is at their very beginning of coding.
The workshop was super fun and although I already had some basic knowledge, I learned a lot. I especially appreciated the tips for making my code look really nice and as simple as possible. I can't wait to learn more about Javascript!

This was such an amazing experience! I'm not just saying that either, I started off being excited about learning how to code and it ended on such a high note that I what to continue the experience and learn more. It gets frustrating when you can't figure out what's wrong with your code but there's such a strong and healthy supportive community to guide you, and when you finally fix the bug then its the best feeling. I really want to encourage everyone to at least try it out, it truly is an awesome experience.

The course makes it easy and interesting to learn how to code. I really liked the format with several short videos, each directed to a specific topic. This makes it much easier to keep focus, instead of being bored in a long and dull lecture. I am still very impressed by the idea of having someone on Slack that could help you out when you are stuck. This is exactly what I needed! I was afraid that I will get challenges like "Hello world" which frustrated me every time I wanted to watch some tutorials on YouTube or other platforms. In my first week, although I haven't even finished it, I already converted three of my friends to make their managers pay for their courses and start being geeky and dorks! Thank you very much, now I can annoy any developer insight and make them work and talk at the same level!

I've wanted to learn coding for a while but, when working a full-time job, it can be tricky to find a course that offers a flexible timetable, and that's also affordable. I've really appreciated that it's possible to choose the 3-weeks workshop before eventually continuing with the more advanced courses. It's a great introduction, and allows you to see if you're happy with what you learn. I had a lot of fun working on my first project, and cannot wait to enroll on the longer workshop.
SheCodes structures the workshops really well, so I can stay focused and motivated to go through the lessons and weekly challenges. The videos and explanations are simple and easy to understand, even on the hardest lessons of the JavaScript topic. I'm very happy that after the 8-weeks workshop I could already create my own weather app, and I could apply this knowledge on managing projects and communicating with frontend developers at work as a UX/UI designer! I highly recommend this to everyone looking to understand coding deeper, while still having to work a fulltime job during the lessons.

I never thought that I would learn how to code but I am so glad I did this course. Code is no longer something alien and incomprehensible and it's easier to learn than you think. The classes are well structured with no need for any prior knowledge. You are guided through it in small manageble steps. I definetely recommend taking the class!

The Workshop was everything I could've wished for! I wasnΒ΄t sure at the beginning because I thought I couldnt make it but I was totally wrong. I enjoyed a lot doing it even if I had to stay awake a little bit! I've tried many times to learn coding from different platforms and I couldn't grasp it fully until SheCodes. I found about SheCodes through my flatmate and it was the perfect workshop. Matt explains everything very clearly and from the first day, a whole new world is in front of you.
On the same day I finished the SheCodes Workshop I just knew that my journey was just beggining. I joined the SheCodesPlus and I did take the code to the next step! Along these 8 weeks I saw my progress day by day, feeling even more comfortable with HTLM, CSS and JavaScript after each class, challenge and homework. Matt is a great instructor! Lessons are approachable and easy to understand -- but also quite challenging, for someone who has no background on coding. If you get stuck, there is always someone ready to help you. It made starting to code a lot less scary. Most importantly, it was a lot of fun! I can't wait to learn more.

What a great last couple of months. The course was quite challenging but I feel that I have learned a lot! I never thought I'd be able to build a weather app as my first project and I am really happy with the results. I totally recommend the course.
I really loved this workshop and the way Matt teaches. I started learning code earlier, but I never understood why I have to do things the way I have to do them. Matt explains everything very clearly so you understand the background of why things work the way they do. I love the fact that the videos are really short and you always get an exercise to submit. Trying things out for yourself definitely helps to remember things better. I was so motivated that I finished all the videos and assignments in less than a week. After that I had enough time for my final project and to try out new things.
After 3 weeks I proudly finished my SheCodes Workshop where I learned about HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really liked the video lessons and the structure given. This made it easy to make progress step by step in your own time. I would recommend this course for anyone, even total beginners, to get an understandig of how coding works which is also important for me as a designer. I am even thinking about doing another workshop!

I've always wanted to learn more about coding and in the past few weeks, I've been able to learn and practice a lot of information. The weekly workshops are informative and well-thought-out and the challenges make you exercise what you've learned. The weekly homework grew off of each other each week to make the final project more manageable. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who's been curious about coding!
Since I was a total beginner this basic course was perfect for me since the lessons were exactly my level. I have tried other tutorials before but ended up not finishing most of them because I would not understand the basics and was not knowing what I was doing. I can`t wait to start SheCodes Plus!
I fully enjoyed SheCodes. Every lesson I felt challenged and eager to learn more. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a good solid foundation into coding. Matt explains every perfectly and encourages you to try more. Before SheCodes, I had no idea how easy HTML, CSS and JavaScript could be to understand. I had this idea that only a genius could build websites, format pages or even just read the languages. I have high hopes for my coding future after SheCodes, I now have a new desire to keep going in my coding career! What's next? Maybe Python or Ruby.. who knows. All I know is that I owe my foundation to SheCodes!
Definitely more of a challenge than the initial workshop. I think I still have a lot of practicing to do before I move on to the React course, but now I have a scope of what it's like to be constantly challenged and using resources to the best I can.
