I had a great experience learning to code with SheCodes! I never thought that I'd ever be able to code but since starting the workshop I've learnt so much and had a lot of fun. I've really enjoyed the sense of achievement when completing tasks and seeing my code work. I would definitely recommend SheCodes!
It was a super fun and exciting journey on learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JS! I have been a Tech Recruiter for a while and always surrounded with software engineers. This course opened my eyes and helped me to get a better understanding on how things are built on the Front-end side and I feel this will help me in my further career! These emotions, when you write your first function, build your first button and it works - are unbelievable! :) Matt is a great teacher and explains everything very nicely and in a fun manner. I've got tons of inspiration on learning more within coding. I can strongly recommend this course to everyone!
Matt is an amazing instructor: He managed to explain the most complex things in an easy and fun way. I never learned so much in such a short time. But I also never had so much fun doing it. That was an interesting course for learning the basics. I liked the setting and the presentations. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed by the amount of content, but actually it is not a big deal. It is like everywhere in life: the more you practice, the better you become. I had fun during that course as well... and this is said by someone who totally disliked IT and coding beforehand because of shi*** experience at University. It is a well prepared workshop with a reliable support (even across continents). You learn step by step how to create your own landing page and you can chose freely, at what time of the day you want to work on it. And the most important thing is: you learn from and with coders who enjoy their work ππ
I really enjoyed the introduction to coding with SheCodes! I had been thinking about changing into product management for a long time but wasn't sure if I would like the coding aspects of it. I was really doubting if I would be able to do it and what's more important if I would enjoy it. These last few weeks have been extremely interesting and exciting for me. I had so much fun learning and creating new things. I find coding very rewarding as you see the results of your work almost immediately. I especially loved the final project as you get the chance to create something on your own and get to be really creative. The videos provided by Matt were very easy to follow and I learned a lot in such a short time! The community provided by SheCodes is great as you can both find help and help others! It feels like a safe space to ask any questions if you ever get stuck and you always get very quick feedback from the nice SheCodes team if the other girls can't help you out. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes and I am so much looking forward to continuing my learning in SheCodes Plus!
Learning with SheCodes has been very productive to me during this time. I really like the flexibility and the well structured classes/videos Matt prepared. I can't wait to begin the next level workshop and hopefully it's more challenging!

Each lesson is well summarized and on point. I did not really feel like 'Coding is out of this world', which often I've felt when I tried to learn from some Youtube videos about coding. Besides Matt's amazing method, SheCodes has a great mentor like JoΓ£o and Lexi who are always there to help. Seeing and knowing other girls working on the same challenges at the same time also helped and motivated me a lot! Great course.

Within three weeks, IΒ΄ve got all the pivotal knowledge to decide whether or not the career of a front-end developer suits me. IΒ΄ve never thought it could be so fascinating, challenging, and creative at the same time. I have always had interest in learning how to code, especially for designing and creating websites/apps. I had previously tried to learn coding through other platforms, but never really got the support I needed in order to actually put all the theory into practice. I am impressed on how Matt and his team make learning how to code in such a fun and easy way. Finally created my first free-style webpage with the intro course and I am ready to continue with the next workshops! ππ½
Before the Workshop I thought I would struggle a lot. I mean it still can be tricky, but it is so much fun to figure it all out and see a final result that you built yourself!
I am extremely happy with the SheCodesPlus course. Having had no technical background and no previous interactions with the world of coding before SheCodes, I naturally had some doubts considering my abilities. Yet here I am, writing my testimonial after submitting my final project. Matt is a great teacher; all lessons are divided into concrete, topic related units, which are followed by challenges where you can implement the theory you just learned. The course is truly genius, and I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to change her carrier-path or to acquire intense coding knowledge & skills.

I would highly recommend these workshops to all! They are really clear and easy to understand the principles and basics of programming, because I want to start to learn UX / UI design, so was interested in the basics of coding :) And at the end of the workshops you already can create your own pages and be creative! And I have realized that it is actually for creative minds like me (as a musician and singer, hobby), so you really do not need to know math heh ;) (in music actually some math we have) . So, yes, everyone can do it, if you have that big interest! Thank you Matt and all your team! I really enjoyed this course!!
A great course for beginners. The challenges prepare you well for the homework at the end of the week and if necessary there is quick support via slack!
I've really enjoyed the online coding workshop and this is a very intense training, but worth it. Matt is a great instructor and the materials from the challenges and homework are highly structured and very helpful. The tips given throughout the workshop were just great!

HIGHLY recommended! In the beginning, I was just curious about coding and I didn't want to go deeper into the topic. After this workshop, I want to continue learning more and more. This three-week course didn't only give me a good basic introduction of front-end development to enhance my UX Designer role, but also made me find out how cool a SheCodes online workshop is! The learning materials are well structured and prepared in manageable lengths so that tackling the tasks and weekly challenges are fun even for someone who's working full-time during the workshop. I'd love to proceed to SheCodes Plus as a next step!

It was a lot of fun completing the whole course.
I started to get an interest in coding for more than 1.5 years ago, however, as a complete beginner and learning myself, I struggled a lot just to figure out where to start and got so confused and unmotivated! I decided to give coding a change again later on and SheCode helped me to find my inner motivation again for coding! Now it is a lot easier and fun for me to explore the coding world on my own! I will totally recommend this course if you are a complete beginner that wants to learn to code but are a bit lost in where to start! π€©π©βπ»

I have always been wondering how websites are made. This course finally revealed the mystery to me and even taught me how to do it myself. At first, I was worried that it might be too difficult, but the lessons are easy to understand and teach you all the basics in small steps. Theory as well as practical exercises are equally included. Right before my very first coding workshop with SheCodes I was pretty nervous, thinking that I wouldn't be able to understand a thing. Matt & the whole SheCodes community proved me wrong πΊ! I had a lot of fun going through my lessons and doing the challenges. (I even started to have dreams about some coding techniques, ain't that something! πΉ) So grateful for the opportunity to learn coding with SheCodes and can't wait to continue. :)
I've always been interested in coding but never taken the plunge and actually tried it. After taking the first workshop with SheCodes I was inspired to dive into the three-week beginner course. I've really enjoyed the lessons, challenges, and homework. I feel like I'm slowly but surely starting to understand this new language!
I would have wished for a bit more of information in the videos. Would be nice to get feedback on the final assignment with recommendations what to improve.
Was a great intrudoction to what coding is about! Always had a feeling its not for me, and this course completely changed my mind!
