After completing SheCodes Basics and a few weeks break from coding, I quickly realised that something was missing so I decided to also do the AddOn. I really like the structure of the courses and my journey with SheCodes will certainly continue.
I have never worked with React before. This is why I learned a lot during this module. It was great fun to see how much easier it was to build the weather app by using react instead of plain html, css and javascript.

I am so happy I enroled in the SheCodes Max Workshop. Out of curiosity joining the Basic Workshop on a rainy day after work, I could never imagine me creating React Apps, handling API's or grasp all these function and make them work :) I really wanna thank Matt and the SheCodes Team, who always helped when I was struggeling and helped me get back on track. I can now create and host websites and Apps!

I just completed the SheCodes Basics course, and I loved it! I was always too scared to try to learn to code, I thought I did not have enough time nor the right skills but thanks to this course I learned quickly while having fun and playing with my creativity. The lessons and challenges are well structured and I completed this course despite having a busy schedule. The SheCodes team on Slack supported me when I felt stuck on a challenge, but honestly, the video lessons are so well done that I managed to solve my problems by following Matt's suggestions most of the time. Overall, I liked very much this course and I'm even more excited to continue my coding journey!

The React add-on helped me pursue my journey into React development a little more and made me more comfortable with the integration of various API's. I ended up creating a dictionary app, that I can showcase in my portfolio.
I first heard about SheCodes 4 years ago but at the time it was not possible for me to enroll. This year I finally took that step. Seeing this community of women in tech and being a part of its growth and my own personal development has been a very enriching experience. I'm very eager about what's to come!

I loved doing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! Within 3 weeks, I learned the fundamental basics of coding to gain a better understanding of this essential work field. I'm sure it'll help me in my current and future jobs! Although it was challenging at times, I had lots of fun doing the final project and to use my new skills to create my own little website βΊοΈ
I work as a media designer and therefore deal with websites on a daily basis. I usually use Wordpress and various themes and builders for this. But many themes quickly reach their limits. That's why I really wanted to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The SheCodes Basics course gives a great overview of the basic functions. I especially like the fact that you can put the things you just learned into practice in many small challenges and in the weekly assignments.

Code has always been a mystery to me, a language that I had no idea how to read, let alone understand. This basic course has given me an insight into the world of coding and while obviously there is still a lot to be learnt, I am no longer utterly confused by all these lines of code that make up a website. The step by step approach of SheCodes makes it possible to follow easily and writing code is not only possible but fun. I loved building my first own website and playing with fonts, colours and functions. Thanks for opening the door to coding for me!

I enjoyed the course a lot. I was able to do it well despite having a full time job. Matt has a very good pronunciation so that even non-native speakers can understand him. It was easy for me to follow everything and the regular exercises were a lot of fun.

Really enjoyed the Basics course. Matt's videos are easy to understand and they're not too long. So, it's easy to suqeeze in some lessons after my normal work :) Working on the final project was great, seeing how finally everything came together and I created a whole page from scratch. It's pretty fun getting started with the SheCodes materials.

It was a really fun time with SheCoding, could not notice like the Basic level is over. I become an investigator - curious digging into a site that I visit to find out how this work; and a searcher - googling for some other ways to create something on your own. The course is built sooooo well, so easy to understand, in no matter of time you start to notice the things that before were kind of mystery. The final project was not so hard to create like hard to choose which one to send (I made 3, but stop myself on this one)
Highly recommended for beginners or those with zero background on Coding πLearning has never been this fun and you can do it at your own pace wherever, whenever π

This project challenged me to apply everything I had learned and pushed me to think creatively. From fetching real-time weather data to dynamically updating the app's interface, every step of the process was a valuable learning experience. By developing a React weather app from scratch, this project allowed me to put my skills to the test and solidify my understanding of key React concepts. By leveraging React's powerful features and libraries, I was able to create a visually appealing and highly functional weather application. I work in Real Estate and take care of our database software which is linked to our website. I started the SheCodes Basic class to learn to understand exactly that: the basics and how a website actually works. SheCodes is really the best way to learn to code. The video explanations are easy to understand and easy to follow. Having finished the Basic workshop, I saw how the team really thought of the smallest things that would help the participants in their learning journey. They provided all these additional resources which are very useful to beginners: cheatsheets, tools, fast support from the team, and access to a community of learners, etc.
