Great course to start programming at the very begin, step by step! Highly recommended. As an improvement, I would only have preferred that some concepts weren't repeated so much and instead get to learn new ones (especially in week 3), but as I said, it's only a personal preference :)

I would highly recommend this workshop! The course is really well explained and in just 3 weeks, I have already put in practice in my day-to-day work some of the things I've learned.
Although I already had programming knowledge and I knew that I had been passionate about it for a long time, I had not found the time to give it a try until very recently (three weeks exactly haha). I can't be happier to have been on this adventure, and I like so much the community behind it, always ready to help each other. I have no doubt that I will end up doing other courses on SheCodes!
This has been a really challenging and fun experience and has opened my eyes to something that I take for granted every day. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone even remotely curious and will definitely take another course soon.

Difficult but worth it
Prior to this workshop I had zero experience with coding. Interested in making a career change, I researched various workshops and schools online for beginners. SheCodes not only delivered great tutorials, but made it accessible to someone like me with zero background in coding. I learned how to code in 3 weeks, and have found myself actually enjoying it. I am ready for SheCodes Plus! πͺπΎ

Three weeks flew by, that's how much fun I was having coding. I truly enjoyed every minute of this workshop, many thanks to the overly supportive employees as well. Matt's videos are so easy to follow, he breaks them down into 8-12 minute short videos and then you get to practice with a challenge. The best part is that each wee challenge had something new that you have to figure out on your own. It's so incredible how this workshop can highlight your capabilities. The feeling you get when your code works is addicting. This is my first time coding, and I can't wait for the second chapter with SheCodes.
I have enjoyed a lot this course. I had to learn HTML since I work with email marketing tools but this is the first time I can understand exactly how it works. This is the first time learning about JavaScript and I enjoyed a lot! Can't wait to start the next workshop. Matt is the best teacher!

Great 3 weeks of learning and you can do it on your own pace. It's really convenient when you work. You got plenty of help from the staff and fellow coders. With the introduction courses, you learn all the basics pretty fast and you get to do your own project which is pretty awesome ! Would recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in coding :)

Really nice introduction to coding. Easy to follow, I enjoyed following the online class at my own rhythm. I would advice this class for true beginner in coding who wants to know the basics of HTML CSS and java script.

I loved the workshop! It's so practical, full of material and different examples. Also, you make a little project at the end of the course, and it helps you to understand how everything works altogether. That's one of the most interesting points of it.
Very well done and very useful information delivered in an excellent manner. The challenges after each lesson and being able to build it myself makes this course very interactive, interesting and fun!

A self-paced course that goes through the basics of creating a landing page with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Very structured, and with all necessary resources β in just 3 weeks I'm miles ahead of where I would have been on my own!
SheCodes is a school with good pedagogy, the courses are well structured and explained. There is a lot of practice such as homework and projects. There are good communication and atmosphere between teachers and classmates. I recommend this coding school if you want to learn well how to code or if you want to deepen your knowledge.

I've tried to learn coding before with no success as a lot of courses and workshops weren't easy to understand or not for beginners. Eventually I got frustrated and thought this was not for me... until I found out about SheCodes. Matt way of teaching brought back my interest on learning code and he made it look so incredibly easy. I'm so happy and thankful I had the opportunity to join this incredible workshop and the incredible team of SheCodes. Now I'm looking forward to expand my knowledge and hopefully start a tech career :)

Being unable to work due to COVID-19 I had little to do, SheCodes was a great way to spend my time. I always love learning new skills and the flexibility of course was ideal for me because you can do as much or as little you want on a given day as long as you keep up with the time schedule.
Loved the workshop! Lessons were splitted into short videos, so it was easy to find any topic if you wanted to review concepts. Explanations were really good, and also exercises were easy to understand and do, after the proper explanation.
Six weeks ago I decided that I wanted to learn to code, so I started as a self taught. SheCodes made it easier for me as they provide the contents well organized, and also, because Matt is a great teacher. The course is very indroductive, specially into JavaScript, and wouldn't allow me to work yet. I am glad that I will continue my learning with the SheCodes Plus program π.
I have had great fun and learnt so much from this course. It has provided me with a great base for my own learning, as well as forcing me to apply my new skills to projects.
The course was put together in an amazing way! It was really easy to understand, but challenging at the same time.
Overall the help sheets and video explanations are very clear from Matt, learned a new world and found it interesting for sure. However, I do not like the platform Slack. I've had help today but I didn't even notice the answer until hours later, and the answer did not help me find a solution regardless. Slack is definitely not a simple platform to follow, it's confusing and overloaded with unnecessary messages from too many users. I submitted my final project, but I am not happy with a lot of things and even with google I could not find the solutions. I followed Matts advice and instructions but a lot of things were not working, even when writing multiple of times, refreshing pages, and writing them carefully while checking my notes. I didn't have so many problems with my last homework submission so I don't understand why this one was so hard to complete.
I love this workshop. Matt is an awesome instructor. The lessons are very easy to follow and very well-organized. This workshop was perfect introduction to coding. π
