SheCodes Basic was an incredible learning experience and a very good introduction to coding. The 3-week coding workshop helped me to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, in a fun and interactive way, with practical challenges (almost after every new lesson) and weekly hands-on projects. The lessons are well-structured, mainly focused on practical knowledges and examples, and easy to follow (even for beginners like me); the online platform is user-friendly; the support system is great (you have access, via Slack, to mentors and a community of other students) and Matt does a wonderful job teaching. Therefore, I highly recommend SheCodes Basic to anyone looking to explore the world of coding, or to those who are in the process of changing their career.

Hey! π I've finished SheCodes Responsive. In this step, I've learned more about Bootstrap, CSS, and created My personal page resume.
I loved the opportunity to be working on another project using my responsive skills!! I feel like I have really been able to get to grips with grids and media queries, and also created another project to add to my portfolio. I now feel totally equipped with enough skills to make a simple, effective and stylish website.
I can't believe how much I have learned! This workshop has been as challenging as it has been rewarding.

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was challenging but reminded me of why I want to pursue a career in coding. From learning new things, to doing research, to creating, and then tweaking was a great experience! I like to see the difference between the world clock I made during a previous workshop vs this workshop. I recommend doing this workshop, not only because it will amplify your knowledge but as a coder, it is important to keep learning/growing and stay as much up-to-date on the coding possibilities (which change/grow on a day-to-day basis.

I'd never imagined writing a code would be so entertaining and enjoyable instead of dull and tedious. The most exciting part of SheCodes Basics is that within three weeks (four weeks in case of taking SheCodes Basics Add-On), you'll be able to put everything you've learned throughout the course into practice and build a page.

Hey! π I've finished SheCodes Plus. In this step, I've learned more about #Javascript and #API integration. I created a simple web app of Weather Forecast with API from SheCodes.
The learning continues! When I started my coding journey, I thought that becoming someone who knew what she was talking about in this field was too much to hope for. But now I can see a dream becoming a reality, and a potential future career change that may actually be possible. This workshop took me longer than it perhaps should have, but I have finished it with a project that I can build on, and am honestly proud of. Thanks again team!

I started my coding journey a couple of weeks ago. I have a non-technical background and I have developed my career in client-facing and pure business roles. For years, I have told myself the coding world wasn't something for me. Needless to say, three weeks into the SheCodes course and I feel like I was completely wrong. This Responsive workshop really allowed me to bring together all my HTML and CSS skills to be creative and produce my portfolio that will actually be useful to me in the real world. I felt I really got to see how Bootstrap could be useful and spending hours making everything responsive in different ways really pays off as your knowledge of breakpoints and media queries becomes like second nature!! Took a while but proud to have made it this far and excited to progress further.
The SheCodes Responsive workshop was an excellent learning opportunity, combining enjoyment and valuable insights. Through its hands-on approach and structured modules, I gained newfound confidence in creating responsive web designs. Highly recommended!

It has been very fun working with real data, it makes a student feels is in the correct path. Also, watching Matt coding the project teaches a lot, not only coding but how a programmer has to think.

I found the Basics course to be very well structured, easy to follow & implement. I like that the homework usually requires you to google and figure something out by yourself
I learnt so much and enjoyed the course even though it was a bit challenging at first. I wanted to try something different and I am glad I chose this.

I am very happy with the programming course. I didn't know anything about it and it was a good way to start! It is very practical and you can put into practice everything you learn.
The basic course taught me how to navigate the basic topics of HTML, CSS, and also introduced me to the basics of Javascript. The course is not difficult to learn, since the lessons are very practical and viewing them does not take much time. As a beginner, I was very pleased.
React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding π

I enjoyed the challenge of creating my own weather app. The project the engaging and set up in a way where I did not think, "This is impossible". I felt very accomplished after completing this project.
This was an awesome addition to the Weather App that we had to produce.. I was left wondering about time zones and displaying the date and time of other cities around the world, and the add-on course answered it! Really enjoyed learning an extra new skill.

I enjoyed learning with SheCodes. I learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I wish the course would have gone a bit more in detail. What I really liked was the fact of having deadlines, which motivated me to study every week and dedicate some time for the homework and the final project!
This was a funny project, I tried to do something a bit different. It was a challenge using html and css only and making it responsive.
Very good and informative regarding the js and the API application on the project. I really enjoy going through the API documentation and understanding more about its application in my code. For sure much more challenging than the basic one, but gives a deeper compression of how things work. Excited about the Responsive workshop.
I had a really great experience, and I have learnt a lot through your videos and was even more motivated to study by myself and stay on my toes.
This course was intense and I don't think I've ever learnt so much in 4.5 weeks!! It was exciting as it took my coding to the next level with API integration and actually pulling data from elsewhere to integrate into a search engine. I liked how I could apply my prior knowledge of HTML and CSS to create the design that I wanted. I'm so pleased I stuck at it and coded pretty much every day to keep up the momentum. Looking forward to learning even more crazy skills... am beginning to learn that if you are patient, anything is possible with coding!!
