I really enjoyed this workshop as a complete beginner to coding. The tutorials were easy to follow and informative. Whenever I encountered any issues I used my initiative and managed to find solutions which increased my confidence π

I am a total newbie to coding, and I found the Shecodes basics workshops to be quite challenging. Despite that, I think Matt has done a fantastic job at being really concise and thorough in explaining and demonstrating all the new concepts. I usually find pre-recorded courses to be a little bit hard to get through as they're usually so disconnected, but being able to go back to tutorials and also have support from the Slack channels has really set this one apart from the rest!
I chose to learn how to code because I wasn't sure of what creative career path to take that would allow me to excel, be successful and give me satisfaction and pride in what I do, but now that I have discovered coding and what it has to offer I am so excited to learn more and pursue web development!

Every time I finish another SheCodes Workshop I feel so much more confident in my coding skills! This project is definitely the closest one to my heart since it includes everything I've done so far during all the workshops! It was surreal to see the long way I have come from the first web page I have ever written in my life to making a weather app and now a portfolio to show to potential employers!! I loved learning about responsiveness and it has become my favorite part to work on when building a page!

It was a lot of fun figuring out how to create my own weather app. It taught me a lot about what I want to do with my own website and how to build out my skills as a web programmer

SheCodes Plus is a good course in coding but I felt it was a bit slow, a lot of repetition and not so much new information. Compared to SheCodes Basic - it was not as comprehensive and considering the difference in price I frankly think it wasn't worth it. i enjoyed it nevertheless and felt I learned something new. The video instructions are usually very clear and it was fun to learn with you. I would recommend SheCodes Basic course to everyone, but not sure SheCodes Plus lived up to the expectations.
After just completing the basics workshop, the add-on for this course brings new possibilities for the design and efficiency of my code. It makes you reflect on what you have previously learnt putting everything into practice to create a more advanced, sophisticated looking website.
Thanks SheCodes, you made learning code a breeze. The video tutorials were a standout for me - easy to follow and highly approachable. The modern interface and bite-sized lessons made the learning process really smooth. A bonus was the project-based approach, it truly enhanced my understanding because I was constantly applying what I'd just learnt. additionally, support team was really polite & responsive too ! I wanted to get into Web Development, but found that free courses and YouTube tutorials didn't have enough structure to be conducive to learning. SheCodes was the only course I found that combined HTML, CSS, and Javascript all in one place, and this was essential for me. SheCodes has given me a passion for front end development and I'm excited to go further with this.
Wow what a week it has been ! I cannot believe how much I have been able to achieve in such a short space of time with the SheCodes basic program. The format of the program allows you to move at your own pace with quality videos and challenges that really do motivate you to move onto the next lesson. I did not stop smiling after each homework review to see the longed for and beautiful words "Your solution is valid! Good job π" I am really pleased I have done this and look forward to what comes next for me with SheCodes!

I work at a tech company; and every day I work with technology which is based on code. This is a great way of getting a glimpse of what the magic is around coding. At this point I am curious to learn more about coding and SheCodes offers a fun and easy way to learn the world of code!

What a great intro to coding! Really easy to follow along and loads of tips on how to work things out for yourself so you won't be stuck when you need to find something out in the future. But the Slack channel is also great to help you get started at first when you don't even know what you need to try and search for!

This workshop helps to build on skills learnt from the basics course to make your own weather app.
The course gives step-by-step instructions how to start with React, create components, use state, fetch data using API. Matt is a great instructor, he explains every little detail and how things work in a simple way. I had a little problem with deployment, and SheCodes team helped via Slack channel promptly. The best course I have taken so far!
