Really easy going and you were coding from the very beginning which I apprecate.
Learning from sheCodes basics add-on has been extremely beneficial and fun. The challenges and projects helped solidify my understanding of the topics covered in the course thanks to the insrtuctor. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting started with coding even if you're a complete beginner like I was.
I have learnt soooo much through this course so far! I can't believe what I'm able to create now. I can't wait for the next stages to develop even more. I can't praise SheCodes enough :)
I've really enjoyed my journey so far with SheCodes, from the free introductory workshop allowing me to get an idea of what coding actually was, to now completing my basics workshop it's been great. Matt's lessons go through each element so logically that it just makes sense, then having the slack platform to ask questions to other learners and experts, means you are never left in the dark. Can't wait to start the next course!

Really enjoyed doing this project. I would recommend doing the add-ons as it refreshes your skills and highlights any areas you need to practice. frustrating at times but worth it.

I've enjoyed the SheCodes basics course way more than I expected - so much so that I plan to upgrade to pro! Matt is a great teacher and I love the format of short videos with embedded challenges. It's so much easier to focus and to practise skills straight away rather than watching long videos and trying to remember everything. Would highly recommend.

Another challenging and exciting course from SheCodes! lt's definitely worth taking, as it covers a vital topic - making your website responsive. Also, we learnt how to use Bootstrap to make the coding process much faster and easier. I have a beautiful Portfolio website as a result, which I am planning to improve in the course of my further coding journey. Many thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team!

I really enjoyed developing and reinforcing my skills! Building the world clock was a chance to re-establish the HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills that I've already learned.
Since I left my job, I was looking to change my career path. After a lot of research, I found out SheCodes. SheCodes is amazing, there’s so much to learn from it. I thought that it would be way more difficult, but realised that everyone can do it. It’s not that hard. I highly recommend.
SheCodes React was the most challenging Workshop so far but also the most interesting one! I highly recommend it to beginner developers who want to start learning how to use React.
It's nice to have more practice in case you would like to have more experience with different approaches while creating HTML and CSS
I found the video format helpful, when I was stuck I could refer back to the videos to help with the challenges. I liked that I was able to complete the course to fit my own schedule! I really enjoyed the creativity of learning to code and I am excited to continue!

I have learned a lot in regards to API variation in this add-on course and how those learned skills can be applied across different interfaces. The API work is something I have very much enjoyed using and I am looking forward to using these learned skills in future projects. I really enjoyed the Shecodes basics addon because it allowed me to practice all of the skills I've learnt and add to them. I have now been able to showcase all these new skills in a project I can share.

This workshop has been very challenging, packed with lots of information and new skills that built on what we learnt in the last workshop. As a result, it has been even more rewarding to recognise that I had started to understand what I had been learning and seeing the results of the hard work paying off; all whilst being able to venture out of my comfort zone, experimenting and being creative. Overall it's challenging but fun.
As someone who had no coding experience SheCodes basics was overall a great course to start and grow my coding journey. With a great instructor, weekly challenges and homework I have learnt a lot and I'm very grateful for the entire experience.

Really enjoyed learning these new and more advanced skills from the Basic Workshops. I loved building the weather app, whilst challenging at times, it is VERY satisfying when things click and the app works! It is also a great to learn about hosting and the day-to-day platforms software developers use such as GitHub. Excited to build on my knowledge base with more workshops.
The course was a real eye-opener, both in terms of what can be achieved even with simple HTML, CSS and Javascript, but also in terms of what I was able to achieve in just over 2-weeks of study. When my final project was complete and I tested it for the first time, and everything worked, I felt a huge sense of achievement. This has definitely sparked an interest for me, and I'm already eyeing up my next course...
It has been an incredible coding journey with SheCodes. I learned basic coding knowledge and learned that it was not as complicated to learn as expected. Challenging but fun project! Good addition to Plus course.
Really interesting, a pretty steep learning curve but after a few WTF moments things started to click. Finally feel like I'm beginning to understand javascipt by the end of this course. Big thanks to Matt for making everything so clear and easy to follow, and to the SheCodes staff for being quick and helpful on Slack :). Would recommend the SheCodes Weather API too.

I stumbled upon SheCodes when looking for coding courses as I am interested in learning a new skill and was immediately sold after exploring the SheCodes website and reading other women's testimonials. Matt makes learning coding straight forward, easy to follow and understand and I have thoroughly enjoyed my coding journey so far. Really good transition between the basic and the plus workshops
Creating the weather app was both challenging and fun. Having the videos nice and short allows you to progress at your own pace and get a better understanding for each lesson.
I am so happy to have learnt the basics of coding. It is definitely a beautiful love and hate relationship.
SheCodes React has been a fun and interesting course. It has been great to see the similarities and the differences with vanilla javascript, and has certainly been helpful to learn some modern tech!
The last amazing workshop with SheCodes that taught me more about React helping me to build a beautiful dictionary app with phonetics and pictures. There were challenging parts which were extremely well explained by Matt. As usual the Slack community was really helpful and fast at answering questions helping me to resolve some issues. I can't explain how grateful I am to the SheCodes community for giving me the chance to learn how to code in such an easy way. Thank you!

SheCodes Basics has been an amazing introduction to coding. The course is really immersive and requires repeat practice of the teachings through challenges; as such, I've been able to embed my learning and I have the confidence to independently seek out further knowledge from external resources as suggested throughout the course. I'm really excited to progress to a further SheCodes package and continue my journey into front end development.
I really enjoyed this course! Matt explained everything very clearly and having access to the videos 24/7 allows you to learn at your own pace, which is very helpful. The challenges were engaging and allowed you to apply and test what was taught in each lesson. I felt this was a very safe space to begin learning to code.
Highly recommend this course as a complete beginner, I have learnt so much and in a short amount of time!
Have really enjoyed a new challenge in coding! The course was well structured and easy to follow, I liked the challenges and that you were able to put into practice what you've just been taught as well as the final project which consolidated my learning!

This course was so good! I've been wanting to try a basics coding course for ages as I already had a little bit of html knowledge from teaching myself and I can't believe how much more I have learnt in just a few short weeks. I was nervous about learning JavaScript but SheCodes made it easy to understand and I'm excited to learn more.

I wanted to learn Coding for a long time and this was the perfect course to for me as I had zero previous knowledge about Coding. I really enjoyed how the lecture videos were set up as I am more of a visual learner and it was quite easy to understand. I will most definitely continue with Coding !
