The course is really great. Everything is well-structured. The explanations are clear. Videos are not long which allows to get all information without being overwhelmed. And challenges after explanations help to remember info and to practice.
Matt delivered the lesson in a way that was easy to understand as well as really interesting.
I have learned a lot in the SheCodes Plus course. I've been surprised at how quickly I picked up the API integration, this goes to show what a fantastic teacher Matt is. Using SheCodes own API resources has allowed me the choice to challenge myself further than what is shown in the learning section. This opportunity has given me a lot more confidence in my abilities. I'd like to thank Matt and his team at SheCodes for the support that they provide to their students throughout their learning experience. I have had some personal trials throughout this course, as we all do at times, which have caused me to make use of the postponement feature, however, still having that accountability that SheCodes provides with the courses has made a difference for myself to continue my coding journey.

I'm so glad I enrolled with SheCodes! I wanted to learn programming for a while but felt intimidated by the seemingly infinite languages and workshops available online. SheCodes caught my attention as it caters to women who want to break into tech and I felt like this would offer a comfortable space to learn and network with other girls who are on the same journey. It makes learning to code fun and has really helped me build confidence in my abilities, I enjoyed the challenges and recommend it to anyone who wants to try it out!
Another incredible SheCodes workshop where I am shocked by how much I've learned and how amazing coding is! As always, Matt's tutorial and explanations are top notch and it makes you so eager to start your project! I loved creating the World Clock, especially because it made me want to learn so much more on my own and I cannot wait to see how much I can improve my own code!

I've loved learning again at my age, it's been fascinating working behind the scenes after being a graphic designer since the late 80s. I am super impressed with the set up of SheCodes and the very clear way in which the fantastic tutor, Matt, is able to explain the most seemingly confusing new language of numbers, letters and punctuation marks. I highly recommend this course, not just for those seeking a new career in coding but to widen your knowledge and have a better understanding of what your web designers do all day!

I really enjoyed the coding workshop. The videos were very clear and slack was so useful when I couldn't work out what was wrong in my code. SheCodes Basics is the perfect introduction into coding and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wonders what coding is about.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I found the lessons clear, fun, and engaging. I already had some knowledge of HTML and CSS, and the workshop not only allowed me to refresh my previous knowledge but the explanations really helped to understand the languages more and cleared up some doubts that I had. The Javascript lesson is a great way to get into it, and I look forward to learning more in the upcoming workshops!

Good introduction to basic HTML, CSS and Javascript. Videos and challenges are presented in a user friendly way however I think the support provided is lacking. Feedback on the homework is pre-defined responses with no personalisation. Whilst the Slack is good to seek help or to help other students, when the SheCode's staff get involved, they merely just fix the code for students without helping them understand what was wrong. I understand the principle of people trying to troubleshoot their own code and figure things out but for beginners, I think support to lay the foundations is very important. You could find all the information covered in this course online for free but if you're looking for the structure (which I was) it's a good starting point - albeit expensive for what it is.
I really enjoyed learning at my own pace, and the SheCodes platform in general! I found the final project motivating 👍 The knowledge taught is cut into little pieces which gives you time to integrate it. I already feel I improved my skills, even being a complete beginner. Recommended! 🎯

This is a fantastic workshop where you can gain front-developing skills with clear explanations and prompt team support. The Plus course was quite challenging but if you understand the main ideas all you need is more practise. It was a real excitement!
React was incredibly hard to learn but once you got into the swing of things it became extremely easy to understand and follow! Matt did a fantastic job with teaching me what to do and where to go.

This was the most challenging workshop but the results are awesome, my weather app looks so clean. I still can't believe I reached this point from scratch in just 9 months with the help of the most amazing instructor and the SheCodes team.
