This part of the program has truly transformed my understanding of Javascript and CSS and opened up a world of possibilities. The course content is exceptionally well-structured, providing clear explanations and practical exercises that helped me grasp the fundamentals of coding effortlessly. The instructors' expertise and guidance were invaluable, making complex concepts easily digestible. She Codes Basics Add-On course is exceptionally outstanding as you are guided as you build the project, and not left to ones own devices.
As someone who has always thought about learning to code, I have always found it so overwhelming to start. But, this course made it easy and accessible. Seeing how much you can learn and apply in such a short space of time has been a huge confidence boost and I couldn't recommend Matt's lessons more to new learners!
Matt made each lesson clear and easy to follow. Each lesson built on the previous and I learned a lot in the few weeks I took the course. Would recommend to anyone who is starting their coding journey.

SheCodes Responsive was by far the most enjoyable course I have completed so far. I felt that this course allowed me to better demonstrate my acquired coding skills and show more of my personality. I created a portfolio of my coding work as my final project and hope this demonstrates to others what I have been able to achieve by taking part in SheCodes workshops, despite starting with absolutely no coding knowledge before embarking on this journey.
I really enjoyed doing this course and I am very happy and impressed with my final project.
I've enjoyed to learn new things, I'll be honest, the part of Javascript was not as easy as I was thinking. It's slow me down a little with the course since I've to repeat few time the same lesson, but Matt was explaining everything step by step, so I was just keep following his instructions and keep trying again. And the end I did my weather app very clean and simple without too much things to complicated my codings. But overall I enjoyed the course.

SheCodes Responsive Add-On was a fun little project between the Responsive course and the next course, bringing in lots of key aspects together.
Highly recommend completing this course! My favourite task was actually the project - it just shows how much I have learnt in all of the lessons. Also, it is pretty fun testing codes out even if they are wrong.. it's all about experimenting them to see if the codes work!
This course pushed me to really think about my code and I am so happy and proud of what I achieved.
I have to say this was an excellent experience. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, and the practical assignments helped me apply what I learned. This workshop was challenging but very rewarding! It motivated me to revisit my old projects and make improvements in order to gather my best work for the portfolio. I know that I will use this page as a base for job applications in the future and I feel confident in showing my projects to potential employers.

This was a great course to get to grips with the basics of coding. The instructor is really excellent at delivering the lessons without the material becoming too overwhelming. He has a way of anticipating the questions you are probably going to ask and answering them before you need to ask. It is challenging - there is a sense that the website really is there to help train women and not just make money. The layout of the course is really excellent too. There is a lot of information, but it is presented in a way that offers help where it is needed. I would highly recommend this course for those curious about coding and those who want to take it further for a possible career.
I enjoyed the course. The videotutorials are easy to follow and offer exactly what you need to start creating stuff. I feel like I've had a lifetime of blueviolet though, so I'm definitely going to be exploring different colours, too ;).

I appreciated the hands-on approach taken during the sessions, allowing us to immediately apply what we had learned. I enjoyed creating a World clock! It was a fun project that has me looking forward to the upcoming projects!
This was a great challenge for me but building a responsive website from scratch was very satisfying. The lessons were clear and i really enjoyed the design aspect of this workshop.
I consider myself an Excel geek. As an accountant, I use MS Excel on a daily basis, and time and time again, I am amazed by its powerful capabilities. I recently began exploring Excel's VBA, which led me to come across an article about coding, then eventually to SheCodes. Although I know that VBA and coding are far from being similar, attending the free session hosted by Matt further fueled my interest. And now, just after a couple of weeks, I completed the basic coding program and enjoyed every bit of it. Learning coding is something I will never regret, and I wish I had embarked on it sooner. I am looking forward to diving deeper into it in the weeks to come. I thank Matt and the SheCodes Team for imparting their knowledge.
What a great start to my coding adventure! The workshop is divided into short units so it's not overwhelming for an absolute beginner like me. Matt is a great teacher and makes everything clear and understandable.

It's amazing how much you can learn in such a short amount of time! The layout of the lessons were perfect for me as I struggle to pay attention for long periods of time when learning, so the short chunks were easily digestible and it didn't feel too overwhelming. Just because it has 'basic' in the name doesn't mean it's easy! There were definitely a couple of moments where my brain was frazzled but I found it so enjoyable overall.
I learned a lot more during this workshop, It was very enjoyable and I'm excited to continue my journey with SheCodes.

I decided to take on this course and it's been great. I used to do programming at my old job, however since I stopped being a software engineer. I noticed I started to slowly forget what I learnt. I took on this course to jog my memory and it helped a lot! I didn't notice how much I missed coding until I did this course. The teaching was fantastic from Matt, the videos along with the tasks to do were so fun. The SheCodes team was amazing and they made sure to answer any questions we had.

Time went so quickly whilst doing this course which can only mean one thing.....I LOVED IT!!!! I have always been curious as to how websites are made so when I saw this course I jumped at the chance to do it. Matt does a wonderful job at explaining everything with easy to follow videos and smart little challenges at the end of each section. My advice to everyone is to take lots and lots of notes! Overall a very informative, enjoyable course to do, very happy indeed.
This was a pretty easy going course. Learning how to make my code responsive for different devices was a lot of fun and challenging.
