The most challenging SheCodes course so far. I'm proud of myself to finally being able to put my React skills into a real life project. I have to admit it wasn't a smooth sailing, but feels incredibly rewarding now as I'm writing this statement.

The SheCodes Basic workshop has been an amazing experience. Learning about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has been wonderful. I went to this course to boost my web development skills, following Matt's steps, I have built a real challenge weather app with Vanilla JS. I admit the 8-week course has been tough and sometimes a bit frustrating, but this is how resilience is now one of my skills.

Fun project to create!
Had a lot of fun completing the Responsive Add-On. I feel like I am increasing my ability to bug-fix on my own and am loving the challenge of this. Cannot wait to start the next module... React!

A very challenging first coding workshop. I had to review everything twice to understand how all is connected, good videos with step by step explanations so it's easy to follow and to manage to comprehend everything especially if it's first time dealing with coding. It has taken me some time to commit to SheCodes since my initial start back in October 2023 however, it has been very easy to get back into the swing of things. I am thoroughly enjoying coding again and cannot wait to complete all the other Courses.

I completed the Basics course with SheCodes because I wanted to challenge and computers and tech had always made me a teeny bit anxious. I'm very grateful to SheCodes for demystifying basic coding in this manner. I loved the accessibility of the course and found the videos helpful. I'm sure that what I have learned will give me the confidence to support my children in the future in what I believe will become an essential skill.

Responsive websites always felt like a really daunting piece of code to learn and understand. The way SheCodes created the course helped me to follow along easily. I was also able to do a bit of my own research to figure a few things out.
The past week has been quite tough for me as I could not give my full time to coding. As the course has become more challenging with advanced topics, making coding more complex. I am learning slowly as I am still getting confused on some parts. I believe I can overcome this with the help of informative class videos by Matt. I would suggest my friends joining SheCodes as it provides more opportunities and add new skill set

After working with websites for over two years, SheCodes Responsive has really solidified my understanding of what makes up a website - from the html template, interactive elements like the nav bar and button CTAs, as well as the finishing touches of SEO meta titles and descriptions. After finishing the course, I understand how to build a site, host it and make look good on a desktop and mobile device. Would highly recommend!
Wowwww, completing the SheCodes course was like unlocking a whole new world of coding magic! β¨ Not only did I level up my JavaScript game to industry standards, but I also did it with a huge smile on my face. π Aside from equipping me with the industry-standard approach to core JavaScript principles, I was also able to tackle real world BIG projects with confidence and finesse. From understanding the fundamentals to mastering more advanced concepts, every step of the journey felt rewarding and empowering. In fact, armed with my SheCodes skills, I graduated my traditional bootcamp with an A-! π I wholeheartedly recommend SheCodes! From the basics to the fancy stuff, every lesson was like a mini adventure!
Really fun course and good to refresh as I've not coded in a long time. Computer stopped working in middle of project and had to reboot windows but managed to get a extention and finish. Would highly recommend SheCodes as it laid out in a great way for learning and Matt is a excellent teacher.
Going through the course at my own pace is what allowed me to truly understand each step and understand what is being done. With time and help from the slack team I was able to code my own weather app and make it exactly how I envisioned it to look.

By no means was the Plus course easy to get through but I will say, it was 1 million percent worth it and as the previous Basics course proved, the lessons, challenges and projects were so amazingly put together! As challenging as it was, I really enjoyed growing my skills further and I can't believe I have been able to build my own weather app with a 5 day forecast from scratch after just 3 months of learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript - here's to more learning with SheCodes Max!
Another great course taught by Matt who explains everything in such an easy to understand and engaging way! I really enjoy the format of his course which gives you the theory and code along but still enables you to actually code for yourself so you aren't in 'tutorial hell' like other courses
I feel like I've learnt so much in such a short space of time! I can't wait to see how much more is covered on the more advanced courses.
It has really been fun doing this course, I have learned to build a whole weather app!. Very challenging but there has been a lot of support which has helped me not give up. I will definitely be using the stuff I have learnt to do other projects and hopefully land my job as a web developer.
Having never done coding in my life, I felt a little intimidated at first. But Matt's style of teaching and being able to go at your own pace, meant I could learn with pleasure. Cannot wait for more workshops in the future. I thoroughly recommend this course if you always wanted to try out coding!

The course is easy to follow and well structured. It's great to be able to do the course at your own pace. Finishing Plus and feeling knowledgeable in JavaScript, however, I would not say you feel confident enough to apply for a coding job at this point.

I would highly recommend if you're starting out, this helped motivate me to get into tech and I'm pursuing a career as an associate software developer! This course has tutorials that are easy to follow and you can pace yourself which is hand if you're busy during the day

This course offers a brilliant and approachable roadmap to mastering React, a subject that can often feel overwhelming without proper direction. Its well-organised structure ensures a smooth learning journey, and I found myself gaining a wealth of knowledge as I progressed through the material.
Completed the Plus course. This was more challenging compared to the Basics course. However, it was satisfying to figure out what was wrong with the code after struggling. Highly recommend!
Once the knowledge acquired starts clicking, the course is extremely easy to follow. You learn how to go to google to find answers, and the learning process is easy.
Out of all the online course to learn coding, this has helped me the most. The way Matt explains things without necessarily using technical jargon straight away has helped me understanding things more than I thought I would. In actual fact, I didn't think I would get this far or be able to code at all!

WOW SheCodes Plus has been one hell of a journey π I'm so proud of my weather app! π There were times I thought I might throw my laptop out the window but then I would find the bug causing the problem and honestly, this is the most satisfying feeling. It's funny how convinced you can get that the whole thing is just wrong and it'll literally be ONE semi-colon or something equally tiny that's missing that breaks the whole thing. Anyway, thanks again Matt, your ability to deliver complex information in bitesize chunks is great and being able to see our project get upgraded more and more as we apply what we're learning is a great way to see our skillset grow. I'm still challenged by a lot of the JS stuff but the repetition involved has gotten me to a point I didn't think I would ever get to when I first started SheCodes Plus.
I absolutely loved learning and adding to my knowledge gained in SheCodes Basics! It was a hugely rewarding challenge and I look forward to continuing with the next workshop!

I have FINALLY finished the SheCodes React Add-ons Course after starting and stopping throughout last year. I am overjoyed to say the least as every time I sat down to finish the course, I lacked in motivation. This year is different and I have finally got my head back in the game. This has proved to me that my coding journey isn't over, it is only just beginning.
Really fun and challenging course. There was a lot of content and new skills to learn but the lessons and workshops were well paced so you never felt overwhelmed.
I really enjoyed this basics course. It was fun and informative. It made the world of coding a little less daunting and I liked experimenting with different techniques. I struggled at times to fit in the course around my work (12 hour shifts!) but extending deadlines was very easy and more importantly, non-judgemental.
Just finished the Plus workshop, so much extra JS learning packed in, really excited to push it further! Thanks SheCodes team!!! π

So far, my journey with SheCodes has been delightful. Matt, the instructor, has proven to be highly competent, and the level of challenge throughout the course has been perfectly balanced. However, the three weeks felt too short; I find myself eager to delve even deeper into this world. Thanks, SheCodes, for sparking this newfound curiosity!
I have really enjoyed the workshop for SheCodes. Matt has packed it full of information and I feel I have learnt so much from the 3 week course.
It's crazy how much I have learnt in such a short space of time. Going from seriously struggling with some of the concepts at the beginning of the course, to actually understanding how and why we use certain elements.
These three weeks have been incredible! This experience was a first for me, the tasks were interesting, always with some twist that challenged my wit. I really like that I can use both my technical and creative sides. I'm already looking forward to continuing my education!
Been a tough journey! I have gained clear knowledge of CSS, HTML , JAVASCRIPT, GIT and NETLIFY. The deployment bit was fun seeing your work live. Although more advanced techniques and practices are needed. If your looking into web development i highly recommend this course . Am happy and looking forward to the next one.
This was a great introduction to coding. The videos were very easy to understand and Matt always gives nice tips and encourages us to google things we don't know, which helped me a lot and provided me with a deeper understanding of the things I learned. Being able to build my first landing page gave me a lot of confidence and made me look forward to the more advanced lessons. The support team is very knowledgeable and helpful. Last but not least, I really enjoyed being part of the Slack community because I felt that I was not alone in this journey and having the opportunity to help others with their questions helped solidify my knowledge.
This workshop has exceeded my expectations in every way. As a Product Owner, it is super important that my developers and I can speak to each other about code with ease. Now that I have completed both SheCodes Basic and Plus modules, I feel so much more prepared to work in collaboration with technical members of my team, who will not need to try hard to explain to me what they are currently working on. In fact, they will be able to show me their code and I will be able to read it, which is a huge advantage to have as a Product Owner. This course has given me such a confidence boost regarding my own technical capabilities and I am really looking forward to the future modules I have signed up for with SheCodes.
