This workshop is great to help you work through the different stages of coding. I loved the exciting challenges we get every week and I had a lot of fun building my final project.
It was fun - challenging but I am proud of how far I have come in the last 6 months!
I have really enjoyed this workshop. It is one of the best courses I have ever done. Matt is an amazing teacher and his teaching style is great. He talks you through all of the exercises and models everything for you to try yourself. I can't recommend this course enough if you are looking to get into coding.
A helpful addition to the Basics course - I appreciated the opportunity for further practice.
SheCodes Plus is definatley far more challenging that anything we've done previously. Creating the weather app has been an incredible learning curve, but so fulfilling to be able to create something from scratch. The SheCodes team are absolutely wonderful and provide great assistance and clarity if you need.
I am super impressed with this course! I was slightly sceptical about enrolling as I had no insight into coding! However, working with SheCodes has created opportunities that I would have never expected, or even considered possible without a degree. I have, and will continue to promote this amazing course as it is a great segway into the world of technology! I can not wait to see what is in store for me after completing this course (and likely completing the advanced course) . Thanks to all of the team for their amazing work.
I initially enrolled for this course in 2020, but life got in the way, preventing me from completing it until now. Overall, the experience was amazing and served as a great introduction to coding. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there are many additional resources available to help you with your coding journey. I believe that this course is definitely worthwhile.
I've learnt so much in 3 weeks and can't wait to progress!!

SheCodes basics was everything I was hoping for! A fantastic introduction into coding, with interesting and challenging lessons that got me hooked. Already looking to take the next course in the near future.
I have learnt really interesting things and really want to learn more! The course is very well thought out and really easy to follow. I really like the layout and how I can go back to previous lessons when I have forgotten how to do something.

SheCodes is a great introduction for anyone new to coding. Everything is broken down into simple videos that help you learn step-by-step. I've already recommended it to others!
I loved this workshop! I already had some knowledge about HTML and CSS, but JS was something totally new to me. The way Matt explains everything is extremely effective, he uses simple examples to make you understand how every element works. I highly recommend this workshop, at the moment I work full time but, despite this, I managed to hit all the dead lines. This means that the course is well structured and let you study in your free time for a few hours per day.
I recently attended a coding workshop and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. The tutorials were very in-depth and Matt's teaching style was incredibly effective. He managed to break down complex concepts into understandable bits and pieces, which made it easier for me to follow along. One of the best things about the workshop was the Slack chat. It was an incredibly helpful resource, and I found that I was able to get answers to my questions very quickly. Additionally, I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a huge help. This allowed me to work at my own pace and to ensure that I was producing quality work. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in coding. The challenges and tutorials will definitely push you out of your comfort zone, but the knowledge and skills you will gain are well worth it. Thanks to the flexibility and helpful resources, I was able to complete the workshop in my own time and felt truly empowered by the end. Thanks to the team for such a wonderful experience!

SheCodes Basic Workshop was an excellent learning experience to learn from scratch the basics of HTML, CSS & Java. I never thought I would be able to achieve all of this in just 3 weeks!
The course was great. I love the bite-sized lessons and the challenges that I had to do really helped me to apply what I was learning.
They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. But with Shecodes I managed to learn how to do it in a matter of weeks and also build my own. This has truly taught me that anything is possible when it comes to coding.It just needs consistency, patience and an amazing team from Shecodes !

I feel like this course has really consolidated my knowledge and grown my knowledge in more complex JavaScript. This course has tightened my grasp of APIs and select menus whilst gaining more insight into workflow and development pipelines.

I have really enjoyed my SheCodes Basics experience, the platform worked really well with my preferred learning style of hands-on, allowing me to get stuck in with the experiential practice. I found it challenging in a positive way, spending hours immersed in focussed problem-solving and feeling a great sense of achievement upon completing the tasks. It was also great to see the elements of HTML, CSS and Javascript come together for the final project!
Pivoting to tech using the SheCodes Basics was my first step to changing career paths! Experience was really enjoyable and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend if someone is new to tech like myself!

Excellent course, would highly recommend to everyone who would like to start coding! Each week, there are a number of tutorials which you can watch when convenient and you can apply what you learned in the homework assignment. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the homework is exactly the right level of challenging.
SheCodes Plus a bit challenging but worth the hard work. I enjoyed every second of the course, Mattβs way of teaching is remarkable and engaging. Many things to learn, I was looking forward to learn the API and the functionality in more advanced level. Team are so helpful and kind. I started the SheCodes Basics course to help me with my current employment, as a digital marketer I make regular updates to our company's website, manage Google Tag Manager, Email Marketing and much more. Even after the first week of this course, it opened up more for my job role. I can now read the code I'm looking at and it has been a great diving board to learn more in the coding world.
Learning react was a massive learning experience, a lot of challenging moments at times. By the end of the react course i felt more confident with using react.

I'm a recent Electronic and Electrical Engineering graduate from University College London (UCL). My journey into computer science started during my studies, where I delved deeply into Machine Learning. I loved it, so I decided to venture out and see what else there was to learn! I was looking for a bootcamp and then landed on the SheCodes workshops. I immensely enjoyed every minute of it. Not only was it a great introduction into web development but it helped me tap into my creativity. I built projects of my own alongside this course, using the knowledge from each lesson, which I'm very proud of. I'm looking forward to completing the entire bootcamp!

Really enjoyed the Basics course. It was a great way of understanding the foundation of front-end programming. Matt is an enthusiastic teacher, and that enthusiasm is infectious.
The lessons were well explained and easy to follow and the frequent challenges were really useful to build up knowledge. The level of difficulty was just right, with some parts needing research but I never felt unsupported.
Such a great way to apply the skills I have learnt again. I enjoy seeing how far I have come with my thought process when coding.
I had some knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript from free online resources, but I could never get my head around putting JavaScript into practice! SheCodes broke it down into manageable lessons and had me practicing JavaScript alongside each step, which really helped cement the basic concepts for me! I've really enjoyed the Basics course and look forward to learning more advanced concepts with SheCodes!

I was initially skeptical about joining the SheCodes bootcamp, having tried various other coding courses in the past that were not straightforward and left me constantly filling gaps by watching YouTube videos on my own time. However, from the very start of the SheCodes degree program, Matt's explanations were clear and made the learning process much easier. I found that I barely had to use any external help, which was a refreshing change. The team were also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had general enquiries or issues with my work. Overall, I had an excellent experience with SheCodes and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into coding. The program was well-structured and easy to follow, and the support provided by the SheCodes team was second to none. I'm now much more confident in my coding abilities and excited to continue my learning journey in this exciting field.
