This was a great primer in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I enjoyed the tasks and got some really useful tools and resources to use too.

Basics course was fab, it lays out the foundations well, but you also have to do your own research and find your own solutions and the slack community are really helpful!
An amazing access course into front-end coding, if you're interested in coding but not sure where to start, this is the place. Having been given plenty of resources and videos, with the addition of the web, the amount of knowledge you can gain in just 3 weeks is priceless!
Excellent course! The information was broken down into manageable chunks and was very realistic in showing you different problems you might encounter and how to solve them. It builds and builds on your prior knowledge and then you have the freedom to include as much of your own creativity as you would like.
SheCodes has been a great experience so far, the team are really friendly, supportive and very responsive if you ever get stuck on a task – bringing a true sense of community, fun and collaboration to remote learning!
Loved the add-on, already purcahsed the full package in the New Year and was a little worried that I would be learning skills from the more 'advanced' courses - but this was not the case. Still loving coding with help from Matt and the team! ☺️
A very informative workshop that can be done by anyone. You do not need to have any prior coding knowledge or experience to be able to complete the tasks and the projects. Everything is explained very well by Matt.

As everything we do in life, even learning how to code can be frustrating sometimes but with this amazing team and all the support from the community everything is possible. I enjoyed this course very much, for someone new to coding, this workshop was fairly easy to follow. Each task allowed me to practice and advance my coding skills; the instructor did an amazing job explaining the content in a short but comprehensive way. Specifically, creating the weather app for the final project was a really fun challenge.
This is my second coding workshop with SheCodes and I would highly recommend signing up if you want to get into coding. Matt is a great teacher, breaking everything down into bitesize, easy to follow, understandable chunks. I have learnt so much and have loved building the weather app as the final project. Really looking forward to the next workshop.

This workshop was a great step-by-step guide on beginner coding! I feel like I have learnt so much in less than 3 weeks - it's incredible. Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. I am very proud of myself, and I am looking forward to the next process on my journey to becoming an expert in front-end developing.
A rather brilliant introduction to the coding basics. Matt doesn't bombard you with too much information, but instead focuses on the core foundations you need to know to make something simple but effective.

Few years ago I've moved to a different country. I felt stuck, couldn't find my place. Meantime I had a baby and when I had to go back to work I've decided I want to do more and want to learn something new. Luckily I find SheCodes. I only just recently graduated from university and found myself questioning what the next chapter for me is. As I continued to do so, I bumped into SheCodes, allowing me to expand on other possible future careers I may be interested in. So far I only completed the first workshop which to my surprise was actually really fun and simple to follow thanks to Matt and his very helpful videos. Would strongly recommend SheCodes to anyone that is looking for a website that contains all the sources they need to learn the basics of coding - HTML, CSS etc.

I really enjoyed the Plus course, for me this was an excellent way to learn with the lessons, in addition to the challenges and then the homework also. I aspired, I built, I problem-solved (like my life depended on it) and I conquered the final project. I have now created a fully functioning weather app. I now feel like I have a lot more understanding and can try things on my own a lot more than when I had only completed Basic, and I am most definitely going to consider the Pro course or maybe even the Max course, when I am able to afford one or both 😅 until then I plan on giving the new SheCodes Challenges a go 🥳
The add on course helped me firm up many of the concepts of the original basics course. I like how I now have an example project to show to potential future employers.

This course was easy to follow and allowed you to expand and have moments where it helps you to expand your knowledge but helping you to search and figure out problems, like in the real world. I enjoyed and learnt so much.
The course was a wonderful insight in to the world of coding for a complete novice such as myself. I felt it provided a great platform in to what coding is about and although it was overwhelming at first I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you are thinking about enrolling on to the course and haven't yet done it because you are unsure, please do give it a go as I learnt so much and had a lot of fun at the same time.
Begin this year i start to have a big interest in web development and She codes gave me the perfect tools to finally understand the basic of it and start learning more.

This course has been fantastic! I initially started to learn how to code through another company and was extremely put off, I was ready to quit learning and put my aspirations of learning how to code to the side until I found SheCodes. The style of learning will suit anyone - even those who haven't studied for a while or feel they are more 'creative' than academic. I really feel that I can have a place in the world of coding now and it's not just for the I.T crowd! This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant 🤩 Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
Brilliant teaching, would never have considered coding as a hobby prior to undertaking this class. It was something I never understood when I was younger in school but Matt explained it in a way that I was able to both understand the concepts but also practice them myself.

This course compared to the last module was increasingly challenging, but it was extremely rewarding to overcome it on your own and with the help of the other students in Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed this course!

I struggle with confidence however the way these classes are taught makes me realise when it comes to coding, I have no worries. If I needed help, the help was there. I could re-watch the videos as much as needed. This is finally the stepping stone for me
This was a very interesting course and was quite the step up from the SheCodes basics. I feel very happy with my end project and what I have learned. It was very satisfying to see it all come together :)
The course was amazing! I loved the simple step by step tutorials that were bitesize and also practical. The best part was the final challenge where I could be creative and hone in the skills that I'd learnt. Overall, a great learning curve and I'd 100% recommend.

A very thorough course that teaches the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Matt explains the different concepts and has appropriate challenges to try out the new skills he has taught. There is enough independent work and challenges to develop the concepts taught.

Learning the basics of html, css & Javascript was a challenge but i felt so fulfilled after every lesson. The workshops were thorough but gave space to creativity and research without ever feeling lost. The Shecodes team are very attentive and make their presence known so it doesn't feel like you're just learning stuff online by yourself. I would recommend to anyone trying to get some more understanding of coding without it being intimidating.
As someone who was trying to self teach the basics of web development, I found the huge amount of resources available online intimidating and my attention wouldn't stick to just one course or one video tutorial. I would hop and skip to the next, and the next, and the next. This SheCodes course grabbed my attention from the start and definitely has me hooked. If you're looking for more structure in your learning as a beginner, the SheCodes Basics course is IT!

I have really enjoyed learning SheCodes Basics and completing the project. I have some other HTML knowledge but Matt's teaching style is easy to understand and doesn't give information that isn't necessary at this stage.

When I first joined this 3 week course I didn't know what to expect whatsoever, however after the first week of the classes I understood that this is what I love to do and how much potential I could have completing it. I found it very useful that I could push back the deadlines for the homework as I had university deadlines due too. Everything that Matt explained during the videos was clear and concise and very understandable.

I used SheCodes as I have always been interested in what coding has to offer. It provided many lessons and resources. I like how it gives you challenges after every lesson and tracks homework, it helps you stay on track. I would definitely recommend it.

I have tried to learn to code a couple of times before but could never get into it. I signed up for SheCodes Basics on a whim, thinking a little bit of HTML knowledge might help me in my current role, but I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did - so much so that I am seriously considering changing careers! The way it is taught makes all of the difference. Short, well-explained, bite-sized lessons followed by practical exercises really help solidify what you are learning and make it fun and interesting. Plus, no maths in sight! I could not recommend the course enough!
