This has been an awesome experience learning the basics of coding. I have enjoyed learning to build a landing page in such an interesting and comfortable form. I can't wait to build more.
Matt makes this very easy to follow through the steps and at the end feel like you have achieved something you didn't know you could! The team were there every step of the way to help with any queries! This was a great experience.

SheCodes makes learning how to code easy! The "Learn" videos teaches how to change an item on a page, before you are encouraged to apply what you've learnt within mini "Challenges". It is perfect for ultimate beginners or someone with previous experience of coding; more importantly: it is fun!! SheCodes is also a community waiting to support one another; this truly makes a difference! I wished I learnt how to code this way a long time ago!
This workshop was very challenging for me, but it was also very rewarding after finally completing the project. I really recommend this course for beginners who really like a challenge and being creative.

What I wanted the most from this workshop was to have an idea of coding so I could decide if it was something I wanted to continue learning. I am very glad I decided to do this as it was easy and fun and I definitely will continue on the coding journey!

After working as a teacher for a few years and having two girls on my own I realised that I was not enjoying going back to work anymore, so I started to look for something different and a SheCodes popup on my Instagram. SheCodes is a great first step into web development. I loved the structure of the courses, the homework and deadlines and the need to know more
The SheCodes Basics course is well-paced, creative, and just the right amount of challenging. With clear guidance through every stage, I was encouraged to spot and solve my own coding mistakes and had lots of fun experimenting with my new HTML, CSS, and JS coding skills to create the final project. I've definitely caught the coding bug!

SheCodes is fantastic. The site structure, lesson planning and the delivery of the basics course is well-considered and enables you to create impressive results. I now have a solid foundation from which I can move forward, Matt explains the concept of coding to enable understanding whilst creating a range of fun, creative tasks for us to complete in the build up to the final project.

Loved it! Super easy to follow, great fun. My only thing was that, while I understand it's Mr Delac's programme and greatly admire his mission, it seems a bit discordant that it is a man teaching all the coding classes to women. Perhaps it might be worth thinking about re-recording the classes with women coders who are now in the SheCodes company. Something which could also have been done for the latest release of the new workshop.
I love this course - it definitely pushed me especially in the Javascript area, definitely need to practice that part more but Matthieu goes through everything well.
It was an extraordinary 3 weeks of inspiring learning and interesting work. Matt explains complex things in a very interesting and simple way. Now I want to connect my future work with coding. Thank you Matt and your wonderful team.

Hi! I guess I forgot to finish the graduation process when I finished this workshop last year :) I am currently doing SheCodes React so wish me luck!
I started this online workshop because I wanted to change my career, even though I thought coding was something impossible to learn or boring I wanted to try it anyway. During the 3 weeks I had some difficulties but nothing I could solve by myself or with the help of this team or the other students. I found out that it's nothing like I had in mind: is so much better than that. I'm still trying to understand if this will be my future career but I can't wait to start the next course and see what happens.

I find this workshop very helpful as an introduction to coding. It nicely breaks down all the basics I needed to start learning to code. I recommend this Basic-workshop to anyone unsure if they would be interested to learn and just want to try things out. I also love the part where Matt touch on the subject of where to find answers, for example, MDN and how to solve issues yourself. But then again in my opinion it is introductory.
Matt is a fantastic teacher, the lessons are easy to follow and I personally really like how you can do the lessons in your own time. I'd actually come across SheCodes from an influencer on Instagram (who now works as a developer) and I'm so glad I was influenced. I am quite confident that I'm on the road to a brand new career. Also, it's really, really fun!

This was a wonderful course for a complete bigger to coding! I felt supported every step of the way and found the course to be well structured and easy to follow.
At a crossroad in my life, where I was desperate to find something relevant, that also stands for women empowerment and that I could dig my creative claws into - I couldn’t have found ShCodes at a better time. I don’t think I’ve done something so frustrating, but as highly rewarding recently than learning the basics of coding. Having Matt to talk through things with, and make lights of stressful situations was what got me though in the end and I can’t wait to keep practising to eventually become a front end developer, and learn other languages to potentially go further. The world of code seems limitless, with opportunity to enter any industry. My ultimate goal is to be able to build and host my own website from scratch, that will encourage collaboration and interaction. This course has given me the base to build towards that, in terms of the community and the learning material. Thank you SheCodes, I may be back to complete the rest of the packages!💫

I loved learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. 😍 I'm excited to keep evolving and learning. It can be frustrating when something isn't working, but the sense of accomplishment and happiness that fills me after getting it to work is incredible. It's amazing to have Slack for when I'm stuck or have a question.
Great intro to web development. Loved the bite sized information followed by an exercise/challenge, and the self-paced nature of the workshop was perfect for me!

The Responsive workshop is another fantastic course from SheCodes! As with the previous courses, I can't believe how much I learnt in just a few weeks, and although it was challenging it was a lot of fun! Creating a portfolio site was a great final project, can't wait for the next course!
She codes has been an amazing learning experience. I love how connected we can be in the slack channel and can collaborate and learn from fellow students. What a fun workshop! I learnt so much so quickly and I feel like I can let my imagination run wild with what I know how to build already! I can't wait to learn more and create even more interactive websites and projects.
I always thought coding would be difficult, but this has really changed my mind. I learnt so much in such a short time, and there is so much you can do with it even with the basic knowledge learnt from this introduction course, it really depends on you and how much you invest your time with it! I will definitely think about doing the next progressive course.
