Just completed Basics, I'm enjoying it so far...looking forward to the next stage.
SheCodes Plus was a big challenge for me, I felt overwhelmed sometimes but was a perfect way to push me more and more to continue. The final project was super funny and beautiful at the end. Can't wait for the next step.
Already having experience with coding, I joined SheCodes to consolidate my learnings and to get more experience building/creating projects. I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was great and very interesting. I learned a lot new information about creating websites.
Lessons are explained in an easy way. Homework tasks are also very clear, but I find a little difficult to remember the code elements. Coding was very interesting and fun for me.
I really enjoyed the workshop and found it very easy to learn things. I would recommend it 100%

Glad that I found this wokshop,it was an amazing experience and it turned out,coding is really interesting for me( that was the reason I started the whole) However sometimes I found lack of explanations about "why"-s, and have to look after by myself.

I loved these 3 weeks of coding workshops! I've learnt so much and the format makes it really enjoyable. It is very clear, user-friendly and the examples used are simple. Loved the length of the videos, they are quite short so it makes the course super easy to fit in a busy timetable. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in coding 😄
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! I highly recommend and look forward to progressing onto the next workshop.
One of the most interactive, engaging introductions to coding I've completed so far. Coding challenges in each lesson kept things very practical, rather than just theoretical - precisely what I was looking for.

I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!

This is an excellent, thorough short course that explains everything really clearly and goes through exactly what you want from a basic intro to coding.
The SheCodes Basics workshop has been very useful for me as a complete beginner and has helped me to start my journey of coding. Reading the good reviews allowed me to trust SheCodes, but I was still a bit skeptical as I wasn't sure if it was for me. However, after just one lesson I was able to understand and learn things I never thought I'd learn. Matt is a great teacher and I hope more women are able to use SheCodes as a way of gaining new skills or expanding their pre-existing knowledge.

I have had so much fun doing this course! I procrastinated a lot before starting my homework every week but once I started, I was not able to stop obsessing over all the different things I can do with what Matt taught during the course. I am really glad I signed up to the course and can't wait to learn more so I am able to creatively express myself. Matt has made this a really fun and immersive learning experience.

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best decisions of my life. I always found coding interesting but never thought I could do it as I have Dyslexia and struggle to stay focused, so I thought it would be way too hard to understand and learn. The way the lessons are built and presented makes it so easy to get things done because you can take your time, pause the videos and have as many breaks as you need, and Matt explains and demonstrates it in a way that somebody like me can fully understand. Having challenges to do was also really helpful because it's allowing you to practice and make sure you know what your doing before moving on. I had a lot of fun these past 3 weeks and i couldn't be more grateful to this program for what it has provided me with, I'm looking forward to starting the next workshop. Thanks so much SheCodes!
SheCodes Basics has provided me with a really great base knowledge on front-end coding. The challenges are a great way to supplement the video teaching, by helping to put what you've learnt into practise. I highly recommend for anyone looking to see whether they enjoy coding.

I've always been interested in learning Coding in my country but there isn't any classes or lessons available to learn from. There are a lot of websites to learn from but none of them seemed to be able to give me the learning experiences that I'm looking for until I discovered SheCodes through a friend. So I decided to give myself a challenge and go for it! As I slowly learn more, I find myself enjoying Coding. I love how every lessons are neatly organized, the format of the course, assistance available through slack and assignments are not peer-graded too. Not only that, due to personal issues, I wasn't able to complete the course on time but I'm glad that the SheCodes team were generous about the extensions they gave me. So to those who are unsure of learning coding or where to learn from, I hope that you'll give SheCodes a try! Definitely worth the money and time learning from!

Wow, what an amazing course! I enjoyed it from start to finish, which I'm surprised to say, given that tech wasn't something I ever thought I'd be interested in or good at. I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed by how straightforward and simple each workshop was, everything was really easy to digest, and I never felt overwhelmed by the subject matter. I'm so happy with SheCodes that I'm going to explore signing up to SheCodes Plus or React in the near future. I can't recommend this course enough -- if you're hesitant about it, or think coding wouldn't be right for you, please give the Basics one a try at the very least, as I don't think you'll regret it!

SheCodes Basic was such a fantastic course and a really affordable way to find out if coding is right for you. I never thought it would be right for me, but after taking the free 1 hour workshop Matt offers, I understood the basics of coding, for the first time ever! He is such a great teacher and really makes difficult concepts seem so easy and he gives lots of amazing tips. I also love the mix of bite-size lessons and hands-on activities which really helped consolidate my understanding. Would 100% recommend it!!

Highly enjoyable I would seriously recommend this course to anyone wanting to try something new. Workload is not too much or too little and the weekly homework can easily be completed around a work schedule.

This is the third course out of four I have completed with SheCodes. It was challenging and fun. I've learned a lot more about ensuring that my website is SEO optimised and that it is fully responsive on all devices. I've really enjoyed the challenges of this workshop and now have a fully responsive portfolio of my own that I can use to help me gain that dream job in tech!!!
