This course was challenging at times but I am glad that I joined it. I have been able to learn about new things and have been able to implement what I have have learnt into my coding. I can't wait to start to next course!
A good way to learn some programming basics and see if you like it
I have done a fair share of different jobs and studying courses, but nothing really stood out to me or had me hooked. However, I kept seeing adds for SheCodes constantly pop up on my phone, so I thought "why not, it won't hurt to try". Honestly best decision I made, SheCodes is so fun whilst still learning, I would recommend this to anyone debating it, try it ... you wont regret it!
Having no experience in coding and gaining an interest in front-end development, I didn't know quite where to start. I tried finding methods of self-teaching and didn't find them as engaging as I wanted so I decided to search for other options and then found SheCodes. I'm so happy that I did! SheCodes has helped me grasp the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a way that was not only fun but practical and challenging which made me want to push myself. I cannot wait to carry on with other SheCodes workshops in the future!

I enjoyed learning the basics of coding in this course. I had no prior experience and felt that this course was a good place to start. It was a lot of fun using the skills learnt during the course for the final project, helping me understand why we had learned what we did. The ability to postpone the course start date was useful, as I had to reschedule. π©βπ»
I started off not knowing how much I would understand the basics of coding and now I feel very confident because of the skills I have learnt over the last three weeks. I think I definitely want to carry on my journey with SheCodes!
I found it really stimulating and interesting to learn the basics of coding. I appreciate this initiative to target women and encourage them to get into the industry. The course is well structured and it helps you get a good grounding in what coding is for. The challenges that come with each lesson really help to build up to the bigger tasks.
At first I was a little afraid to start SheCodes course, just because I have never tried anything like it.... But now I feel so happy that I finished my final project. Looking forward to learn more!
The workshop was captivating from the beginning keeping me engaged and motivated to finish. The tasks were challenging but with a lovely rewarding feeling after completing them. I enjoyed it and am thrilled that I coded my first basic web page from scratch!

In the beginning, it was difficult to figure out what to do. Over time it became easier and more interesting. I want to continue my education and learn more about frontend :)

Great course, definitely more challenging than the first, but such an accomplishment once the final project is complete.
What a fantastic course! I struggle to learn and focus on one thing for an extended period of time (autism/adhd) and Matt teaches in such a way that I am engaged and really enjoying myself. I was a complete beginner before SheCodes and just working in schools/admin. So I have learnt so much from SheCodes Plus and I can't wait to move into the next section and new project.

It would not be an understatement to say that I feel this course has changed the trajectory of my life! I started learning how to code in January and stopped in March as I felt overwhelmed then this time, I gave it another go and I'm understanding it better.

The classes come in bite-sized chunks, which is great for someone with a short attention span - like myself. Each class comes with an exercise, which sometimes challenge you to be creative and think logically. I think the Basics course is great value for money and has given me a basic knowledge of coding plus tools on how to supplement that with my own research.
I personally think the support is not enough.
This has been such a great course to take, I have always been fascinated by coding but never knew where to start. SheCodes made it very simple and attainable even working a full time job. Great experience looking forward to doing more courses.

I really wanted to learn a new skill over the summer holidays. I came across the advert on a social platform and instantly signed up out of curiosity. I have really enjoyed the Basics course. I had watched some videos previously, but I wanted some more practical experience and to see whether coding was the right direction for me. This was a great way to gain some knowledge, experience and confidence in coding; before thinking about committing to a more advanced course requiring more investment (of time and money!). The exercises are really helpful and a great way to put the knowledge you have learned into practice.
