I never thought in my life I could do any coding whatsoever but Matt and the team made it so easy and fun! I have now completed the basics course but I already know I will want to learn more and go into more advanced mode. Week 1 has been really fun. I thought I would hate the video format, however, it just made the lessons more concise. Even though I have dabbled in a bit of coding as a hobby in the past, doing the classes this way have not only helped me relearn, it has helped me to upskill and have a much better understanding of how each code works. It is also great that I am getting to learn the current version of codes in use today. It has helped with my coding confidence so far!

I have struggled in the past with JavaScript in particular but this time I have been successful in understanding and coding JavaScript. I find Matt's videos to be interesting and I am kept engaged throughout.
The tutorials are broken down to make them easy for beginners to follow, and Matt is great at using real-world examples to provide some context and bring everything to life. The support networks are really friendly and non-judgmental - there's a real sense of community with so many people willing to help each other out, and you're never made to feel like you're asking a stupid question. A great course overall and I would love to continue my coding journey with SheCodes!

I really enjoyed the SheCodes course - I was able to dedicate some time to the project for the first couple of weeks. The team were super helpful when I had to extend the deadline for the final project due to a big website launch in my full-time job. Having no experience coding before Shecodes; I found the tutorials helpful and informative. Although sometimes challenging, the course was fun and completing each task gave me a sense of accomplishment.

SheCodes Basics was a super easy to follow and well laid out course. Everything was well explained and the course homework and final project worked really well to show the practical applications for what you'd been taught.

SheCodes Plus took me from someone who had a foundation to learn intermediate skills after SheCodes Basics, to someone with a foundation to be a professional. I was able to fit the course around my job, and my motivation was high throughout due to the accessible atmosphere and breakdown of content.
I had so much fun completing this workshop! Getting to create my own portfolio with all I learnt over the course of SheCodes workshops is such an amazing experience. Highly recommended especially because knowing how to make website responsive is such a great skill to have!

It has been a great journey for me to learn coding and understand the languages of HTML, CSS and Javascript! The modules have been easy to follow and the final project has been exciting as well.
The workshop was challenging but extremely worth while once it clicks and you're able to write your code with little assistance. The break down of the lessons by Matt, followed by the assignments to practice and cement what you learn is great. Alongside the supportive community of SheCodes staff on slack who help you figure out all your problems. Really enjoyed it and proud of the progressed I've made from being an absolute beginner!
I have never thought about myself as a person who could ever start coding. But this happened:) I only at the very begining of this tough but really involving way and want to keep on with it. In addition, I believe that coding is useful for everyone and you can get advantage of it whatever you are doing in your life. Push up your boundaries and start coding;)

I always thought you had to be at an A* student intellect to code, SheCodes has proven me wrong. I cannot believe how much I have learnt in three weeks, but mostly I can't believe how much fun I had learning to code and seeing what I am capable of creating. I really wanted to learn to code but with me having bad ADHD i was really worried i wouldn't be able focus on the lessons or challenges. Matt makes the lessons super interesting with cool pictures and colors also the way he explains things is just the best thing ever! It makes everything so much easier. Also the way the whole thing is set out has been amazing! and i have managed to complete 3 weeks with hardly any struggle even with the ADHD. This workshop is one of the best things i have ever done. I used to work all 10 years as a teacher and to start learning totally new sphere it is a new challenge for me !But I can definitely say it is a great adventure. I am sure that all is possible if you have an aim before you . I am on my way to improving my skills but the coolest moment studying became more and more interesting
Plus was definitely a step up from the Basics course and I learnt how to do a lot more. Parts were frustrating but I like problem solving so made it through! I'm pleased with my weather app and look forward to improving it even more after the course finishes, once I have spare time to play around and familiarise myself with the code further.
